Hello Everyone
I am currently at a project where I am using Atheros Chipsets AR9590 with the
ath9k driver on Debian.
I am wondering how the time-of-flight information can be retrieved per packet
in most recent Atheros chipsets.
Could you tell me how that I get that out of the driver? Or

Hi Development Team:
Can you please provide information regarding power consumption for AR9271, in
the 3 most significant states: IDLE, TX and RX?,
Here are some independent measurements:
Thank you very much, just one question, I noticed in the General notes “net”
stat, Do you know if they refer to the netstats provided by Linux, (e.g.
netstat -ic ),

Hey Wojtek
Thank you for your help!
Do you (or anyone else) know if I can get an NDA with Atheros?
It is for my Master Thesis project at the ETH Zurich which I am doing in
collaboration with a company,
so I could request it through either of the two organizations.
Thanks for your help!

understood, from the General notes, netstat seems to be not a suggested tool to
measure packets traffic, Is that another tool for better accuracy to measure
the (TX/ RX packet transmission process), or maybe go directly to the drive so
I can measure packet traffic in the network?
Thank you

Thank you for your reply.
Regarding number 1, does MRR used when no blockack is received?
Because I believe transmission is done when the blockack is received
even if most of the MPDUs are lost.
Thanks,

Hello,
I recently purchased an MSI GT 72 gaming laptop with a killer n1525 wifi
card in it. The wifi didn't work, so I took a look at the latest kernel
release (3.18-rc3), and it seems there is no support in it for the card. I
didn't find the PCI device id (0x003e) listed in any of the atheros

Can you please post the output of /sys/kernel/debug/usb/devices ?
Also 'sudo lspci -vnn'.

Yes MRR would be used if no BA shows up.
MRR is not used if a BA is received, but SW can lower the rate if it
chooses.
