That puzzled me for a long time, how can I check, if actually a file in
auctex style directory is used?
locate-library seems not to work since there is actually no path set to
that directory. Well the TeX-style-*whatever* variable is set but
locate-library does not work for these.

Actually I find non fast-forward merges much easier to understand than
fast-forward one. ;-)

I've had a conversation with Mattias EngdegÄrd and he made me aware that
auctex has far more warnings as we (or at least I) were thinking.
Basically, running just make will compile all our lisp files in one go
which shadows many warnings because all (forward) declarations contained
