Hi afik, Your translation has some problems, so it can't yet be used. Here is an example:
msgid "File '%s' already exists, do you really want to overwrite it?" msgstr "הקובץ כבר קיים. האם אתה בטוח שברצונך להחליף אותו? " When Audacity runs, the %s will be replaced by the name of a file. In your translation there needs to be a %s too, so that Audacity knows where to put the name of the file. Some of the problems are problems we have with Right-To-Left languages. We do not support Right-To-Left languages well yet in Audacity. Other problems are with missing strings for translation. There is for example no Hebrew translation for "Cl&ear" and there is a translation from English into English for "decode an autosave file" I think he.po is best regarded as an experiment, at least for 2.2.0. The problem of missing %s have to be fixed for it to work at all. When those %s problems are fixed, it should be possible to try it out, and we/you can at least get a sense of what else needs to be done to support Hebrew fully and properly. Accessibility of Audacity is also a problem. We use a library called wxWidgets, and we were forced to 'upgrade' to version 3 of the library. This wrecked most of our accessibility work for Mac. We are reasonably accessible on Windows though. I don't think your work on he.po is going to lead to a satisfactory result for 2.2.0, but it may well help towards a future version. --James.
