well, if you wait a bit untill the timeout value is reached, you'd hear something like unable to connect to the server. Even though it says that the program is not responding, just wait it up and you'll see that the server is indeed down.

confirmed. After becoming... what was it? archmaster? and struggling with the lag for almost a day, the server couldn't indure anymore. It's good in a way, at least the poor piece of hardware that ran that resource hungry game server can now
