When you have the channel URL, add "/videos" to the end of it. That'll download all of the channel's videos. If you don't do this, you'll end up only downloading a small number of videos from that channel, as well as some from related channels.

It's totally normal for your battery capacity to go down. How quickly it goes down depends on a lot of things, such as heat and the number of cycles. There's nothing you can do to keep it from happening entirely.
