Re: I'm really missing a notetaker right now (and so are you*)
forget the ghetto notetakers get an android tablet or phone or an ipod touch with access note. and a bluetooth keyboard or braille pen display. they are way better and can do tons tons more than a blind specific notetaker. and
Re: I'm really missing a notetaker right now (and so are you*)
Its funny how some people here are not reading what the OP posted. He wants those specific set of things onto a device to maintain concentration on certain tasks. So, no, an Iphone or android wont work because theres a crapton of

Hi.Again, I say please dont get the braillle note Apex. Its way too overpriced and doesnt do nearly the stuff even an iPhone can. Also, anyone know why the braille note Apex transfers large files really slowly? I mean really
Re: I'm really missing a notetaker right now (and so are you*)
I went with the Apex, for sheer propriety. Never mind everything else--the Apex has the leftovers of a DOS-based text editor in it, and Duxbury for braille output. What more do you want? Yes, it plays z-code. Between that, the

* Because obviously the things I would make if I had one would be worth your time. Obviously. *Nods sagely.* ** The above may or may not be true.Aside from Sengoku Jidai and some of my pre 2008 stuff, having a USB-compatible note taker

Have you looked into the Braille Plus? Note that Im talking about the Braille Plus (different from the Braille Plus 18!)Downsides: no braille display hilt-in. If you want one, I suggest Refreshabraille. Also, its a legacy product. I
