hello.Trenton, youre always updated on NVDA project and such, do you have any ideas why NVDA doesnt get ported to Linux?Im very slow with orca when it comes to GUI and browsing. its just laggy and fumbly.NVDA has been written in python,

Hi, I dont think develpors are lazy, they just need Money but since their screen reader is free they cant afford to port that on another system. ı dont know if Im correct or not but thats my idea.URL:

Theres honestly, no reason to do so. For example, NVDA, finally now has IAccessible2 support for Libree Office, as ya all know. Open Ofice, still has a little ways to go however. Please see this NVDA Mailing List Post , for more info on

If only gnu/linux were easier to get. Some bios dont allow installing from cd or usb. And plus, there arent many games for us blind folks on linux either, just for windows.URL:

Yeah, I saw that earlier today on their website. I only hope Ill be able to try it out before years end, either on the Dell laptop I currently own if I can find someone who can replace the motherboard, or on the refurbished Toshiba
