Really, dont get Skype talking, it will stop working very soon. I believe that the Skype desktop API will be officially deprecated in april just like XP, if it wasnt already. SO youre going to save yourself some frustration by not getting it and

I can use it, but its a cluttered mess with lots of things to tab through, having to search to figure out who messaged, and I have no idea if theres a way to turn on notifications for when people sign in/out. For my purposes, GW Connect is just cleaner

Of course, now is probably not the best time to mention that if only you had a Mac, all this lovely accessibility would come for free, including incoming notifications.Skype and Twitter accessibility are two things I think suck donkey balls on Doze.

The windows skype works quite well, it even autoreads chats with NVDA. It is cluttered though but there isnt much you can do about that. You can turn compact view on, which will put each conversation in a separate window which makes it much easier.The
