Re: A dark room updates Nope the game does not require a net connection at all and is entirely offline. I  have heard of an issue with the text alerts before, so I do wonder if it's an Ios thing, though I suspect it occurred in an os earlier than 11, still it is mildly annoying considering

Re: A dark room updates As I said before, I'm with Dark on this, in a text based game, sound effects might be a nice addition, but is by no means necessary. Look at it this way, would you want sound effects playing while you are reading a good book, if you're at all like me, the answer
