An idea that should havein Darkgrue

Hello everyone (specificly to aprone if around).

I have to say first that I'm not an advance game maker or anything like that. I don't know how to code at all, so scripting can just be my dream.
Now here comes to the point of the topic. I've started using Darkgrue, gamebook creater, some days ago, with a very weird idea to write a gamebook. First, it went well. But after that, it got too long to handle. The program itself has no problem cycling through those several pages, but testing is the problem. Since it gets too long, I can't imagine if people try it and end up being down when they almost reach the final scene of the story. Even me feel lazy sometimes as well. So they'll think that this game is just too large and they don't have mind to try it again. My friend, who's on this site as well (but I can't remember his username), has the same problem.

So, the heart of the topic is, what about adding the feature to make a sav e point or something that can help with the length of the game, so writers can put in more and more imagination without having to worry about how long their game is, and players don't have to go through the whole story again? I really love gamebook so far, and I'm more than happy to support this project, (though it seems like Aprone stops working on it).

Sorry for whatever mistake I might have done in this post, and thank you for every upcoming answer.
