Well, I do have the SE, so maybe it has to be a smaller phone for that workaround to be effective. I also don't have a case on it right now, so I can very effectively cover the entire speaker.

When I cover my speaker it picks it up stronger, that's how the 7 is, same as when you hold your thumb over the speaker on a call, it echos.

For the Siri issue, I hold my thumb over the speaker. This makes Voiceover muffled enough that Siri doesn't get confused. It's not a real solution as such, but until Apple fixes it, it's the best I've got. Turn
