Oh, what do you edit with? I didn't even think of that, I planned on setting up maybe a couple of scenes and flipping between them, or even just one scene, for the initial recording.

There's file type option in settings -> output. Default is mkv. I recommend changing it to mp4 since it's easier to edit and uploading mp4 to youtube works just fine.

instead of pressing start streaming press start recording, then you also don't need to mess with the streaming options.
