My friend who uses Python just loves VSCode for it. Debugger just works, source controll and even terminal that can be used directly from IDE, although not that good because of the bug that doesn't allow to modify previously written command on it.

If you're using notepad2 as your program editor I would personally recommend notepad++ as an alternative, for code editing at least. I use notepad2 as my general purpose editor for everything, and notepad++ I open code in. Allows me to have specific NVDA code profiles set up

@ivani also use notepad2 and a terminal for python. i din't find any accessible IDEs other than vscode. but vscode is good in my openion.

@5You can't get it working probably because you're one of the large minority of people who's having java Access Bridge bugs. Supposedly it can be fixed, but I have tried over the years, there's 4 or 5 competing sets of directions out there, and none of them have worked for me

I use VSCode for C++ and some Python. Others use it for Python. Assuming it's as good for Python at scale as it is for C++ you get everything you've ever wanted with only a couple minor bugs.

So other than the very and clearly inaccessible IDLE that ships with python, does anyone use any IDE for testing and running code?I'm using notepad2 and the command line, and wanted to give PyCharm a try, but wanted to get people's feedback first
