Flac is supposed to be lossless. This means you should be able to reencode it infinite times with no quality loss.

I don't know. but for editing flac file, I'd recommend GoldWave. because you can just convert the file to another formats, and just leave the default quality there.hth

Question about flac files
I really love flac I have been messing with it over the past fuew days. I have a question about editing flac. If I open a flac or import a flac in audacity then export after editing to the same file will it loose quality?
