Re: notepad won't open. Sure, maybe you can fix the issue, but notepad should not just go away on it's own, so I highly suggest to perform an antivirus scan. Once you do that, there is another command you can perform to try to fix the issue. Try typing DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image
