Really? I didn't know that. When I call people on my iPhone 5S, it sounds like 8 KHZ audio. What about Wi-fi calling and VO LTE? Does that enhance voice quality? Does it only work if both people come from the same service and have the wi-fi calling or VO LTE

Some are 8khz, but most are 3khz, especially older lanlines. Of course, modern cell networks have hd audio but only if you have the latest handsets, and if you're calling a person using that same provider.

hi,it's 3 khz audio I think. 8 khz audio actually sounds pretty good.

I guess posting an audio in 8khz is lots, lots smaller and faster than let's say, 44.1khz., thus delivering instant communication. And instant communication is very important.
