Re: book suggestion for someone who was blown away by wheel of time and th
If you like Dragon Riders of Pern, you might like the Inheritance series by Christopher Paolini, it contains 4 books, Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr, and Inheritance. It is also a story about dragon riders.

Re: book suggestion for someone who was blown away by wheel of time and th
Well aside from his affect on the genre, Tolkien's work is great! I first was read the hobbit by my dad at the age of five. When I was six he started on Lotr, but we wound up with the radio play instead, though i'd

Re: book suggestion for someone who was blown away by wheel of time and th
Funny they haven't digitized talechaser's song, though I do sympathize, I confess I can't read actual fiction with a synth, I just find it irritates me due to the lack of human pauses, especially in dialogue and

Yeah, I don't care for synthesized reading, but it is better than not being able to read the book at all. What I really need is a decent stand alone text to speech DAISY book reader with a decent voice similar to
Re: book suggestion for someone who was blown away by wheel of time and th
@Gean, Like the rest of the tad williams books, Tale Chaser's song was one of those old four track cassette tapes, though bare in mind that was in 2009. @Mslion, Otherland is awesome, it has many characters though

Re: book suggestion for someone who was blown away by wheel of time and th
Dark,Unfortunately, I find that to be a problem with many stories. They start off really well, but by the time you get to the ending, the story seems to have lost the momentum it had in the beginning, and the ending
