Depends what screen reader you're using. If you're using NVDA, adobe digital editions is accessible, but bear in mind it has its own reading commands. If you're using Jaws, you'll need to use version 14. For some reason newer versions repeat the last line

I've been able to open and read Epub files with microsoft edg. see if it works for you, it's also possible to open epub files with firefox, but you'll need addons for that. you can also use calibre to convert your books to txt and read them in an other
