Yep, www.speedtest.net with Firefox or Chrome is your best bet. Their Speedtest.net CLI is also awesome if that's more your cup of tea.

There's also a way to launch a speed test from the command line. It uses the same server which was mentioned above, and is pretty convenient once you have it set up.

Ping is the best I know of at the moment, it works pretty well in almost all cases I needed it, so it should be pretty reliable.

Hi all.Any good speedtest apps to use.I had a few issues with testing speeds on a connection, I used chrome on the ukla test site or whatever its called and got some stupid weird values with chrome, ie works well enough, however I have heard reports that over
