There is Kite integration with VS code but it doesn't seem to be accessible. If so, I haven't figured it out.

If you want autocomplete you can probably get something nice going with VSCode. I've not tried it for python but it works well with Rust and Go, and okay with C++ until you're me and break it. Basically there's plugins, you just have to install one
