I agree that we shouldn't have to turn off automatic list numbering to get JAWS to read the list's numbers. I was just putting the idea forward as a temporary work around until the issue is resolved.

@Theo, if you have used Mirosoft word 2010, could you tell me, what is the performance of Jaws when reading long documents?@Figment, autonumbered lists and bullit lists are very important to me, and there is no reason why Jaws should not read them. I

hi.as post 2 said you should down grade to office 2010 or 2007. 2013 is also working ok but sometimes the jaws can lagg very much with it.

Ok. I guess I'll downgrade all the way to 2010. That's the version I was using before my harddrive crashed.

Hello, I would suggest you download and use microsoft office 2010. The reason is because jaws doesn't read numbered elements, bullits, and letters you generate to lines in microsoft word. To demonstrate this, I'm going to provide you with an example
