[[wow]]! Was it really that long time ago back in 2003 Tank commander got released? I remember this awesome christmas so well then I got the key for the game for christmas. I sad there the christmas night, playing the game after my parents went to bed. I played mission 2, and suddenly an explosion blew out of my surround system and woke up my parents, and I didnt got pobular!  When I think about it, not many games which lived up to this huge quality has been released since then. Hi.If you could move between maps in the offline mode, save your progress and other things, it wouldnt be the same experience like if you played online with other people. Not even if you could load in some computer controlled players. It would be quite fun to do more stuff in offline mode, even if its just selling the loot you find for rep so you can buy things you actually want and being able to switch between maps. I think this will not be as appealing as the main multi-player game since you cant mission, chat with people, trade, do quests and that sort of thing. It will make it less of a shooting gallery though. Having said that, it is fun to go and practise there with all the guns available. Also remember you dont have to double click on something to travel, you can always single click (you know youve clicked it sinse youll get the ping sound in game), and then click on travel to this location towards the bottom of the screen near the info and trade menus.I dont think the war takes as much winning in standard s5 sinse there are fewer systems in the game and your faction only has to control 16 of them. Indeed if I calculate correctly at the moment the Federation is controlling 26 out of 31 systems. One thing we have been told however is that the background stories adodn for S5 invasion will put more ships in the game which will be interesting, and Im guessing will expand the last part of the game. As well as the bug fix, Im also hoping for some updates in terms of new level layout, new monsters etc. I also agree with Arjan that judging by the leap between Time of conflict 1.0 and 2.0 there is a good chance of major changes to the game, especially if its taking David Greenwood this long to work on it. About a sequel however,I doubt well see any progression of the story in shades 2.0, sinse this is a new version of the game, not a direct sequel set after the initial events. I could however imagine a sequel plot in which either the effect of the base experiments was not as confined to the base as speculated, or where a portal was created that some of the creatures got through, leading to a game where you fought mutant humans, cyborgs etc in everyday street or country settings. This is the usual progression for horror films and games such as Resident evil, the first takes place in an isolated location, the next involves spreading to normal societ
 y. Whether itd involve the same agent or a totally different character would depend upon the way the creator wanted the plot to go. If the sequel were set emmediately after Shades of doom it might involve the agent wandering around settlements on that small island where the research base was, trying to stop the effects spreading and find a way off. Alternatively, if the sequel occurred later on perhaps the agent gets dropped into an infected area by the government to investigate as the person with most experience.Alternatively, if the plot followed on the way Resident Evil 2 did from 1, then you could play a totally different character, for example a police officer in a town suddenly full of nasty mutants. Unless however Shades of doom 2.0 comes with a level editer, or David greenwood fancies working on a sequel I doubt well be seeing any fall out from the experiment, heck Im still not absolutely sure what the experiment was for or why it sent e

I agree with Dark that theres almost certain not to be any kind of sequel. Resident Evil, from what I remember, didnt get that hung up on the point of the experimentations in the first place and so I dont think its the point of the game. The idea of SOD is just to rampage around and blow stuff up. Id expect 2.0 to just have more opportunities added for doing the same. Id advocate increasing the number of levels to 13 for dramatic purposes and including more monster types, weapons and equipment. Id also like more environmental features to interact with. Sinse Victorious and fastfinge have been able to click on the treasure with NVda, its probably not an Nvda conflict with the game, unless your doing something different to what others are doing and I dont know enough about how Nvda works to suggest. I do wonder if it is something with your particular settings? Can you move the mouse pointer directly with nvda? With supernova I can literally position the mouse pointer at the Dolphin curser position (handy for reading mouseover text that doesnt come up automatically).If Nvda has this function try positioning your curser on the word treasure, moving the mouse curser and then physically double clicking. If it doesnt work with the mouse then there might be something up with your display or something else on your screen that is interfering somehow.What is the resolution of your display set to? Ive sometimes had that caused lables in the wrong place and though I believe s5 should

Sinse Victorious and fastfinge have been able to click on the treasure with NVda, its probably not an Nvda conflict with the game, unless your doing something different to what others are doing and I dont know enough about how Nvda works to suggest. I do wonder if it is something with your particular settings? Can you move the mouse pointer directly with nvda? With supernova I can literally position the mouse pointer at the Dolphin curser position (handy for reading mouseover text that doesnt come up automatically).If Nvda has this function try positioning your curser on the word treasure, moving the mouse curser and then physically double clicking. If it doesnt work with the mouse then there might be something up with your display or something else on your screen that is interfering somehow.What is the resolution of your display set to? Ive sometimes had that caused lables in the wrong place and though I believe s5 should

If darks can get enough lichs, spook lights can attack anywhere with impunity, and there is no way to stop them. Hurrah! Im glad that worked. I remember having a similar problem myself in the past with one program which turned out to be caused by having too high resolution. If your display was set up that high that certainly explains why nvda was having trouble in the game, heck other parts of the display might have been wangled too. Hmmm, Bryan P was complaining about Window eyes missing out text when in mouse review mode, I wonder if that is a symptom of the same problem?Have fun with the game. touch screen on laptop acting up?

The touch screen for my sony laptop seems to be going a little haywire... Nothing ever activates, but NVDA is reading things left and right and seems to be recognizing touch tgestures on its own, even when I try and clean the screen. Camochek,The way David wrote the game engine, any version from 1.0 to 1.9 needs no new registration key. I agree with victorius, getting constantly attacked by those things and not being able to do anything about it just felt unfair. I lost my whole main square, even my most upgraded townhall building to them. Im not sure how they work, but I would suggest having them not able to move, and only able to be summoned on adjacent squares. Although, they did seem to be the only unit that really posed a threat, so maybe its there to buff that race a bit. Also, elementals are way too overpowered. And I dont really understand why people say robots are so powerful, their units are mostly pretty weak and do little damage, except for the plasma cannon, but that is ridiculously expensive to get and just not very practical when you need to gather those resources. Hi.Spook lights are not controlable and lichs can call them only on their square. Normaly, if you controle your adjacent squares, its difficult for lichs to install their spook lights in your square. Maybe I dont understand the problem, because its similar to the spells of savage race for example. Fatih and all, even if running Mac OS in a virtual machine you must have an Intel based processor. Not quite sure what the reason is but Mac OS will not run on an AMD processor even in VMWare. Hanif, yes, it is possible to install Ubuntu Linux along side Windows. there are two ways to do it. One is to use there special installer to install Linux into a swap partition side by side with Windows. Its the easiest way to set up a multi boot but will run slower than a native install. The second is to repartition your drive with Windows 7s drive tools, create an empty partition, and then install Ubuntu Linux into that. It is the recommended way to do the install in my opinion.As far as installing without a CD that is possible. I am not exactly sure on the specifics of how to do it, but you can use a flash drive or some other USB drive to do the install once you extract the iso image to it, and configure your bios to boot from that device. I am sure there are tutorials out there on how to do it.Jack, there is no way to get the Linux boot manager, Grub, to speak. Besides you dont really need to have it speak anyway. If you set it up to beep when the boo
 t menu pops up all you have to do is arrow to the selection you want and press enter. If you know the boot order, which is in your grub configuration files, you can simply count to get to the selection you want. I usually have the music off these days, so all I get are the little stings when good events happen. Im trying a pirate in invasion but its quite tuff with getting constant criminal flags before I have the required skills, that being said combat is very different particularly against traders where its litterally hit and run, and when your hunted down by a stronger ship and needing to use flee to escape.The other thing that makes pirate slightly harder is you dont get the military meddles and easy skills from them either, so no instant skill boost when you take out your first corvette.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=176730#p176730

I will agree that elementals are pretty much unstoppable once they have established themselves. However this will probably just require different strategy. I won two games against robots with my elementals easily, but no one bothered to attack me before I already had lots of units...Also it doesnt seem elementals can defend themselves very well against attacks from adjacent squares, so perhaps that is something you should use to your advantage if you play against them.And maybe try to convert some of those elementals? not sure how effective this is, Im not so good at using abilities like convert and clone because I either do it too soon or too late. This is a limitation of Windows, although it would certainly have been quite nice if the Apple-supplied BIOS emulation had extended into protected mode for that purpose, too. Newer versions of Windows can boot EFI direct, and the very latest Macs support it; Im not sure if that changes anything though.@All attempting to run OS X on non-Apple hardware: your best bet is Qemu/KVM on Linux, because you can run the native installer and dont have to put up with any of a variety of not-quite-working (and illegally obtained) installers or disk images. Interesting, isnt it, that Premium video is made less premium by mobile devices that dont support it? Obviously, DRM cant be that important. I expect that when DRM comes to iOS the world will be plunged into darkness once more. Or just more, depending on your outlook. Except, the fact that its an OS feature will mean that apps can use it regardless, perhaps. Right now, for example, BBC iPlayer requires Flash, but only on the desktop. IIt doesnt surprise me about Water in London. Sinse London was the first city in Britain to get a public water supply, the pipe work there is the oldest, indeed Ive heard there are still some sections of water pipes in London which have been there sinse Victoria was queen, though dont know if that is still true sinse I do know major replacement programs happened around there in the 90s.Funny you should say water in Bermingham tastes better. In nottingham where my parents are water from the cold tap tastes so chlorinated if you want to drink water your better using the hot tap and letting it cool sinse its been in the house tank for a while and the chlorine has settled out of it. Up hear in the northeast though the water tastes great. Of course the purity test doesnt say much about taste. Run human eurine through a half decent filter to remove the amonea and you can actually get it to a level where you could drink

nah, water elementals have an ajcent square attack that has a gigantic damage radius, if I remember correctly. If you have enough of them they are unstoppable; you can throw any number of units at them and theyll just go down. Even if there were some sort of secret code how the hell it would survive through goodness knows how many translations of the bible over the last two thousand years I dont know. Just to take one example, the name Jesus is not what he wouldve actually been called. Last I heard its believe the original name was yoshoua (which Im likely horribly miss spelling), a name from the same route as the modern Joshua. As the two names are very different and only in fact have two letters in comon, how the heck could you create a code? And that is just a problem with a very basic name of the most important person mentioned in the new testiment of the bible, let alone the rest of the thing. while stories like the Davinchi code are very good fiction, the basis for them in fact is very small indeed, at least as far as the evidence we know is concerned.heck, we cant even get the basic historical details write, (the mans name was

For example, is a good option to put this ability in the three of tenebres (three of tenebres sounds better than three of dark xD).And other suggestion, is that traditional branch need a basic soldier like a formerly footman. Yeah, Brummy water is surprisingly good, chiefly because its sourced from Whales. Lots of rocky springs.As to making water from pee, yep, thats been tried before. The above is a sendsspace pro link, so downloads at normal speed even if you dont have a sendspace account, given that I dont particularly see need for more hosting but if you want to redistribute the file fair enough.As to access, there isnt anything to choose between standard smugglers 5 and s5 invasion, the interface is entirely the same, indeed its largely the same as s4 accept for several miner access tweaks such as a far less confusing skill tree.Original s5 does take place in the storyline before invasion, and is imho an easier game which is why i did my podcast on it. That being said Invasion does have some extremely awsome new stuff like the Carrier ships which you can capture after getting a battle ship which can launche bombers to attack the enemy, as well as some very fun skills not in s5 like the duelist skill that lets you deactivate one of your opponents skills, and of course all the new Jalkat
 h ships, though also a lot of the old syndicate, outer rim and coalition ships arent around anymore in s5 invasion either.S5 invasion is also due to have more content in terms of miniquests and I believe ships produced for it later. The first dlc (download content), pack was a short miniquest which gives an idea of where the smugglers story is going, and theres another, far more extensive one due out this month which Ive got on preorder. so its up to you. For example, is a good option to put this ability in the tree of tenebres (tree of tenebres sounds better than three of dark xD).And other suggestion, is that traditional branch need a basic soldier like a formerly footman.  r is a good anti air unit, but is fragile and with a expensive cool down. Or, reduce the tier of stables.Other thing, is that you (or our) must propose a starting standard for all the map. In the maps that start with a few gold and woods, the expensive race have a very bad early game. But if the map is like a ONJ1, with 4000 g and w, the faster races can do nothing when fight against expensive.I propose that a good start is a one farm, the respective town all, five workers and 50 gold and woods. Ive been in battles where dark opponents just send waves of spook lights flying towards my square; his lichs did not have to be anywhere no me because you could make the spook light move. Probably a bug?@sanslash332: yes, units with special range (or able to attack adjacent tiles) cant defend themselves against units on the same square. In addition, 
 they have radar towers, which is the ultimate intel gathering tool, they have units that attack both airborn and ground units in adjacent squares which is amazing, magnetic thunderstorms that can wreck you if youre really unlucky, and their units are actually relatively cheap for the power they provide.
