Basically what I'm trying to do is:ball.speed is the speed vector soball.speed.x is horizontal speed, ball.speed.y is back and forward speed.ball.speed1 is ball's total speed, all the vector values absolute values added together, velocity in other words.ball.theta was the calculated angle distance between 0, 0, with a theta of 0, and the ball's speed x and y entered as coordinates. Therefore, if the ball's x speed was 10 and its y speed was 10, its theta would be 45 degrees because 10, 10, is 45 degrees away from 0, 0, with a theta of 0. I can post the angle distance calculation function if you want me to.ball.v is the ball's coordinates vector.ball.v.x, ball.v.y is the position of the center of the ball.ball.radius is the radius of the ball.ball.weight is the weight of the ball.block is the block objectblock has x, y, strength.If the ball collides with a block, I use Magurp244's calcul
 ation to calculate how hard it hit based on ball.theta and ball.speed1, then multiply that result by ball.weight. weight is a hole number.Then to deflect it, I would have:If the ball collided with the block to its left, I would first add the collision angle to the theta, and then invert the theta, to spin it to the right.If the collision was to the right, I would think I would subtract the collision angle and then invert.  I'm not calling anyone wrong, and I'm not saying this is the right and only right way and I refuse to change it based on anything you guys say. I was just clearing up how I was doing things because I don't feel like I did before.

To all blind pokemon players.According to gaming site gamexplain; who recently attended a pokemon sun preview event, developer gamefreek has opted to remove the directional pad as a navigation option in sun and moon.Now, players must use the circle pad to navigate the game's world.Aside from that, their is only one speed, all-out running.This is a problem for us visually impaired people, as the precision of the directional pad allowed us to play the mainstream pokemon games.The pokemon company is releasing a free sun and moon demo on October 18th, and I'll be downloading it soon after to check out this new method of navigation, and see if it really spells doom for us blind players or not.I hope it doesn't, as I'm a big pokemon fan, and would still like to play the games.I have the amazon exclusive stealbook double pack preordered at this time, but I may have to cancel it if my fears are realized.Hopefully, I

@shrike, we'd absolutely love to have an auto-reading feature, and we tried to build one. Unfortunately Apple's technology doesn't allow queueing of VoiceOver spoken text. Whenever new messages would come in, it would interrupt whatever was being read. We're hoping Apple gives more control to developers when it comes to VoiceOver, and we'll be looking at iOS updates to see if anything enables us to build this feature in the future.@dan_c, thank you so much for your kind feedback.@chris, iOS 10 allows a developer to add rotor custom for the app. We're still researching the feature, but I believe it will allow you to select a Timecrest rotor that would allow you to quickly jump between objects we define, such as system messages. I have to agree with Figment. Recovery tools might work in situations where there's absolutely no other option. But the most talented programmer in the world with all the time in the world couldn't write such a program that would work as well as the simple knowledge that all your important stuff is stored on another drive. When it comes to stuff you have that can be somewhat easily obtained again, it's a good idea to back it up. When it comes to stuff you created yourself, especially if you haven't given this stuff to anyone else, backup, backup your backups, and backup the backups of your backups! Never trust any one hard drive to store the only copy of anything. Any drive can fail at any time, possibly with absolutely no warning, and with no way of ever getting your data back.

Hi all.Well you can view this ftp site is being your introduction on the deep net if you will.Assume all the programs especially all those cracks are viruses/ransomware /malware.For me, its just a nice place to look and see what is put up.For me what attracted me was initially all the junk audio, however for me right now and which I have not as yet listened to is the 61mb worth of midis and other junk.Text mp3 files and such which there are a lot of are good to.I wouldn't touch any addon or executable program thats on  there though.Even sam says he wouldn't either.Saying that, a lot of stuff not all of it but a lot of stuff that was up yesterday was killed.This server is a nice random place to have if one is bored.You just have to be sensible about what you want.for example nsstudios does have some of these assistants I forget where some of them came from but I have a clean version of some of them.On the other hand, any registory entry should be safe, and any data file for music or audio as well as text should be safe to I mean there  is always a chance.

Hi. Fare enough on chairman cow, as I said I was just interested since it's another type of game we've not got many of in the community. Interesting stuff on the writing principles and impacting choices, however when i said "differences from similar games" I am afraid i was more talking in terms of very basic stuff such as the use of time crystals, items from the merchant and things like world maps. It's part of the purpose of the database of games we have on this site that we have reasonably comprehensive information in each entry, including what gameplay is like and what mechanics are in place so as to encourage people to see the good points of given games (why what we do with the db are descriptions rather than reviews). As a fan of gamebooks myself, and having played a couple of the more modern real time variety like lifeline and one button travel, i am familiar with the basic process of recieve messages over time, make choic
 es, wait to see what happens. However aside from a very unique world and story and as you said, choices with impact on events, Timecrest also has a couple of other things I've not seen before in this style of game which obviously i do want to say a little about. Btw, I'll be away for the next couple of days, though i shal be taking my mobile phone and timecrest with me .

Well partly, however It is also that Nathan tech seems to have been very involved with specific things who's appeal is only to a certain group of people, eg, sound rts players. Look at Pragma. His crazy mod for sound rts, while sound rts fans liked it was not generally known about in the community, however when he comes out with Crazy party, suddenly everybody knows who he is. This is why I think cosmic rage will be useful for letting people know who you are and what you do. Also however, you might consider for your next project what sort of thing people might find useful or what sort of game we don't currently have a lot of representations of. I notice for example that you have a couple of black jack games and a slot machine, however there are lots of those sorts of things around at the moment. Obviously it does not need to be something as major as crazy party, and as I said I think cosmic rage will already help with that since it's very unique 
 as space muds go, however perhaps if you want to have an impact you could consider what sort of thing you can offer that is new or different, either a game or some other helpful utility type program.

A shame my MIDI device sucks. I really miss how the ones from 1999 or around that time sounded. I haven't been able to find a way to reproduce that without either messing with hardware or setting up some sort of VM. Really old ones that I downloaded 16 or so years ago just don't sound the  same.

regarding the recording, this recording is extra loud due to the mic i used. in reality the sound is much quieter. there are also other factors in play that make the recording louder than it is in reality. keep this in mind when you listen to the recording. this is a very close-up somewhat distorted recording. what you hear when you purchase the final product will sound much quieter and better than the close-up distorted recording.

To be honest you  don't need much.You need something called coolsoft virtual midi synth and  a  soundfont.You  can search one on synthfont  or personalcopy.net and just look round for xg and gm sound fonts.I have about 2gb of stuff just hunt round, synthfont has a lot of older ones, I have a lot of ones the arachno font is good and there is others.For those that don't know, a soundfont is basically a set of instruments for a use on keyboard or midi sequencer software and while not as good as actual soundcards should be good.Bassmidi is another good synth though I found coolsoft a bit better.One thing to note, you do need admin access and you do need to install the midi synth into the system where it will install and modify some critical system files so it can work right.Once the emulator is installed you can upload up to 10 fonts into it, usually 1 general or xg bank is all you need.There will be so
 me delays on playing fonts but its generally what I use.I have pulled a lot of things, old adlib cards like the sb16, the gameboy, the nokia midi device, the gravis ultrasound, and others.From my grandpa's old xp system I have the fonts which make up the data core of the basic soundblaster live card as well as true yamaha opl2 and 3 fm midi emulaters.I also have my friend's gaming grade cmedia 5.1 midi synth font file.Other tools you will need which will be linked to on some pages are sfarc and older sfpack archiver programs for fonts to be extracted.The only real file you need is the .sf2 file.The ftp directory seems to be down, but if people want you can get my stuff though to be honest 99.9% of it I pulled off the net so just do that.The first place apart from personalcopy.net which has some really cool ones is synthfont who have links to just about every font there is.A lot of the older smaller rubbish came from lisat
 er I think it is a sweedish ftp with a lot of older and crappy emulation units from the 500kb to several older 8mb sound cards pre 90s stuff.I even have the snes and standard nes and sega varients.The only fonts I am missing right now are the c64, atari, bbc, amiga all of them and apple fonts and acorn fonts which I would like but heck I have at least2-4gb of files and most of the time I stick with the high quality ones.One thing to note, if you don't use at least an i5 duelcore 4gb ram unit with win732 bit at least you can forget it or at least forget anything high spec.Even my system is close to breaking with a high speced font.Not all fonts have all the instruments either so can sound weird.Lower soundfonts are crappier or may not have the right quality but a good one is the personalcopy lite from personalcopy.net which doesn't have one of their grand pianos but basically everything else.Foobar can aparently play emulated stuff 
 in whatever you want to but I have not bothered.with winamp, I forget the site, but you need to find someone called mark hendric or search for the winamp 2 midi plugin.Thats because v2 supports fonts and all versions over v2 have issues with volume not being at max when you play.Its also more stable.You may need another reader or sighted help to configure things right.Also some updates may delete from the media list the vertial emulator.If that happens install it again or update it to the latest version, the latest is 1.17 and has been that way for some time.If you do use xp and under, you can get cracked ofcause since its not sold, the roland vertual sound canvas which I found a bit to bright or the yamaha 50 syxg which is cool and has a few things to install.However its off 4shared and may contain some malware or so which you will have to kill afterwards.The cleaner and safer option is coolsoft by far but you need the guts to h
 andle that.One thing to note that if your fonts are big enough a 4gb ram duel i5 should be able to play at least via software a black note midi without any crashes at all.

I used to have a zip file containing a manual installer for the windows media audio components. It's the exe that doesn't seem to work under windows 10. Pipe also seems to require a visual basic 5 library. For that, I now have a complete visual basic runtime plus package, that has all versions of vb in one easy-to-install package.

If they are like Jim Kitchen's games, they just need the Visual Basic 6 runtime libraries. I've heard that installing Jim's WinKit will install them as well as the menu for his games and an old version of his Life board game.I myself just went over to Microsoft's web site and downloaded their Visual Basic run time library redistributables for Visual Basic 6 Service Pack 6.

I play Ryacus on Cosmic Rage. I just came back, and I'm already hearing some complaints. Now, I have a ton of work. I work nearly 10 hours a day. oh, i found the problem!.The voice i'm using has some delay when telling the usernames and passwords, but no matter at all!also, i'll try downloading the latest version, maybe i'm a Little outdated.I'm from argentina, and the first thing i'll do after finishing the demo is making a walkthrough in spanish, upload it to owr YouTube channel, and spread the Word as much as i can.i'm also crossing my fingers so you can reach the goal!finally, i'm planing to get the season pass once it becomes available.

Hi.Thanks for the nice explanation Dark. Reinstalling the app fixed my issue, and I've now done my first battle.However, I'm not impressed. I simply find the layout of the game too complicated, and there are unlabled buttons as well. So maybe I'll pick this up later on, but currently I have better games to play.

@Firefly82, can confirm that the bug that crashed your save has be found and fixed @Giovani, not entirely sure I understand what you are asking? you can add your own races and race specific units by modding the game text files if you want?or do you mean can you get new races while in game? in which case you can go to cheats, enter 399, and then go back to the main menu enter 13, press 1 and then 6 and you will re-roll the independent kingdoms to get a completely new setother than that I'm not sure what you mean

Hello,I know I promised to post here some audio materials but many times our life changes and I hat many personal problems in the last weeks and I'm sorry for this i couldn't bring anything to you.Now good news: The script is expanding a lot and while I'm totally concentrated on the main storyline I am thinking about all of the possibilities like other endings, achievements etc.What will be most interesting for you is the fact, the game from now will use the full potential of the VR (virtual reality) audio engine. It means that you will be not only able to hear everything around you but things above, for example if there will be someone on the second floor of the house you will hear as he / she will move above you with ofcourse correct filtering etc to give more realism.Believe me or not, but this is really hard work and I'm aiming for something really huge, hopefully I can achieve this! on my todo list is to find a proper actor and actresses. As you already know, I'm heading for the kickstarter campaign so your help will be more than appreciated. Before We'll launch the campaign I want to finish atleast a small fragment of the game to give everyone chance to play and test it so everyone can decide if it's worth backing or not.As some of you knows, I'm a gamer (mainly video) from many years and you know my opinion on many existing audio games. Some of you agree, some not with it but don't get me wrong, I'm never attacking anyone (including devs) and while I'm not a programmer but only a sound designer and voice actor I'll do my best to give you a experience like never before.I will not promise when I show you something, I'll concentrate on the quality so, stay tuned!PS. Unfortunately, this is only true for Pipe 2, Troopanum 2 and I believe Hunter, as well as all the free titles such as Finger Panic and Deakout. I could never get neither the original Pipe nor the original Troopanum to run under Windows 10, and I hear it can't be done. I hope someone comes up with a solution for that.

Absolutely loving the game so far!Still only on chapter 1, I've been restarting so I could try different choices lol, but I think I'll start actually playing and get on with the story.lolIf there ever were to be an auto read feature, I'd like a toggle, as, personally, I don't really see the need for one, as you get a sound for when new messages come in, and when all are received. Hello,I've been playing this since July and love the enhancements for VoiceOver. I'd be interested to check out rotor actions in the game as I don't think we have any apps that implement this. By rotor actions, do you mean custom rotors that you get to by turning the rotor? Is it the actions rotor that's been around since iOS 6? Reading messages automatically should be possible using the API for VO. I am not a programmer, so I can't really give much information on that other than to say I know it's possible.

There's already 31 items on the changelog for today, and the biggest feature, faction relations, hasn't even been coded yet! Gonna start work on it very very soon, just writing up the concepts of how it will work, and planning it
