I need some help
I need some help ok, I know, this isn't exactly a coding problem, but I thought I'd put it here since it relates to coding. So, in truth, I've been finding it hard to continue my prjoects. Re: Best offline audio FPS to play? I've beaten Shades of Doom on the highest difficulty. The trick is not to park and spray (i.e., don't hide someplace and shoot till your fingers fall off). If you waste a ton of bullets, you're screwed. The hardest part of the game, for me at least, was actually a bit in area 2 where you've got two mutant humans in the corners of a rectangular room, basically shooting you diagonally and bisecting. Usually had to resort to grenades and luck there. Hard starters, but at least I have a shiny Unown (my first shiny Unown in my life). You can choose a Unown letter with up/down arrows when you're in the Unown option. I picked Sellura as my starting planet, andnobody apparently seems to want to help me at all, I've tried asking for help, tried being subtle, tried being blunt, but nope, the only channel I see people talking on is the OOC channel mostly.Also @Drums: I'm slowly working my way up to 25 industry points and got a profile in mind for SC, I'm not having issues with people bar accidentally jumping the gun and sending off a distress signal (oops) but I learned my lesson without anyone on comms being a giant dick to me, I just got told gently hey, don't do that withoutt a reason, we take it seriously so you had us worried over nothing. THat to me was a fair way of dealing with it since I learned my lesson. My main probleme on alter aeon is equipment.According to what I find in the donation room in Ralnoth, my equipment seems to be pretty good since I don't find many better gear . But there must be one. On my own, I'm definitly not efficient in combat. I can take some ennemies, but most of them will do me far more damage then I; If I still have my chances, I must heal and rest for a while after each battle a little harder than usual.After having asked the community for help, it seems like my dr and hr are pretty law. But believe me or not, I can't find any better piece of equipment along my exploration. I don't know whre to look, and the random part seems to give me pretty useless things.I've stopped playing for a few weeks now, mainly because it's terribly frustrating. Everything was going just fine untill my lvl 29 and my arrival on the mainland. Now I've got like 30 quests to do, and most of them (despite their indicated level) are clearly out of range considering my stats.My main weapon for instance, is an orc great axe. It is, I swear, the best weapon I found, even after hours of exploration, identification, comparison in shops...Are there important places I should check? Major items in the game I should have at my level? Or is it pure random and do I have to hope for something to come out of my exploration? I did a search for Black Clover on that site, which I happen to know is on a payed service here in australia, then I'd have to say it's one of those many dodgie streaming sites.Over here if you type Black Clover into the apple tv app, it tells you where you can watch it legit, that being a service called anime lab.That goes for any movie or tv show.My knowledge of anime is practically nonexistence, but since my nephew watches them from time to time, I picked a few things up.Anime Lab is a subscription service here that lets you watch anime.I don't know if they're in other countries or not, I'd assume they would be.It costs about 8 bucks here, which would be around 5 bucks US. Need help with Carbon Copy Cloner Hey all you Mac users out thereI need to backup my Mac, so I've used Carbon Copy Cloner or "CCC" for short. I was able to set it up, but, in "allow full disk access" screen, this is where I got stuck. It says I need to drag the fish icon into the disk access table in order to allow full disk access. I cannot do it. If you guys are using this software to backup your Mac, could you suggest anything? If I don't allow full disk access, I cannot backup all the files, because some needs full disk access in order for CCC to clone the file.Thanks. One thing that not enough people do is read the submission guidelines before posting their project. And I haven't seen anyone reference it in a long time.Simply telling people don't post this we already have a thousand of these, isn't going to change anything. Tell the OP to look at the submission guidelines, and let them know it might be better in another room. And politely inform them that there have been several of these already made, so maybe they should share this project to a smaller group, like a small group of friends, instead of making it a title here on the forum.There are ways to inform people, and as already discussed in the thread, obviously it wasn't used. So instead of restating what has already been said, I wanted to give a solution, so this doesn't happen as often. Reading the guidelines is something most people don't remind themselves to do. But you get to enjoy all of this; in 32-bit, you don't know if you have all of this, and some of it you just don't have at all. Take just SSE and SSE2 support, which is required for the x86_64 architecture. On 32-bit, windows has to check to see if your processor supports it before enabling it. On a 64-bit processor, we don't need to check at all; we just enable it and go. XOP, FMA4, CVT16, and XSAVE are updates to SSE, and if you use a good compiler, its probably going to at least use SSE, if not SSE2. (Intels compilers can use all of this technology and can probably generate the best and fastest code, though GCC is right next to it in terms of optimization abilities followed very closely by LLVM.)@12, I'm guessing that those who complain about 32-bit support are running a 32-bit version of windows on a 64-bit machine. This (as Munawar has outlined multiple times) is a terrible idea, and has major consequences. I would advise you just to start building for 64-bit and tell those who wine about it to shove off and actually upgrade to a 64-bit build of windows. They'd get better performance anyway. computer suddenly doesn't see my microphone
computer suddenly doesn't see my microphone Hi. I recently did a windows update (just a normal win7 update). That worked all normal. It started geting strange after rebooting my pc. It made the start sound and this typical screen that update is proceeding was coming up, for a few seconds then the whole pc was just doing a force reboot, taking another 15 minutes. After that, it started normal, but some programs(including the system sounds), had problems broatcasting. After a reboot, also these worked again, but now my microphone jack is completely gone. It's just not showing up any more and nothing can use it. What can i do to fix that? Thx, simter. First of all, the title has seemingly nothing to do with the actual universe or story itself.. and descriptions and ingame text is just, not polished... star conquest feels much more like a refined piece of writing. Not bashing here, just things I've noticed. CR has, if I'm to described it in a few words, a very young seeming atmosphere, and people can take that however they choose to. help with pontes media downloader hi allso, when I try to download a playlist with pontes media downloader, when I hit download playlist, it says that it is downloading, and then just closes without any error message, nothing, it just closes.and when I chek the derectory, it's just one file there, and that is the song that was at the start of the playlist.and no, the prevent playlist downloading chekbox isn't checkedshould I reinstall the program or something? Re: Longer running alter eon playthroughs? As a warrior, use groundstrike, and combos. It's okay to level in areas that don't give you cap experience for every kill. Running fast mobs gives you better experience, and using your skills gives you experience. I've gotten levels just by crafting, and doing no combat whatsoever. Re: How big of a deal are 32-bit builds? I agree 32-bit systems are becoming a thing of the past. However, the way I look at it is that some users are still running lower end systems either because the system was purchased a few years ago, or they're not too concerned with the technical side of things, and 32-bit systems are still appealing. Also, if you write 32-bit applications, they tend to run on both 32-bit and 64-bit environments. I think it's just fine to not have to deal with 32-bit builds with the understanding you might lose some users. Also, even though some users may have a 64 bit computer, they still tend to run 32 bit operating systems for some reason. Perhaps it's not viable to try to adapt, but when I compile an app, I usually try to compile 32-bit version.
