Sam, I love those random sound and custom sound addings.But I have one great idea to get random picking up sounds or loop sounds by putting a numbers. This is very great also to, for example throwing your enemies or hit them with somebody else, very great mind game. I love It.

I'm running Windows 10, and it happens annoyingly often. Luckily, in 2016.2, the exit sound plays, and NVDA just crashes, and bringing it back is as simple as hitting control alt n. It doesn't lock up the entire system like it used to, at least not very often. I honestly can't believe this hasn't been reported to the devs if it's a known issue, which it appears to be.

What I do is if there is a lot of items, grab one, throw it, then quickly grab another and turn twords another random item and throw it. It's pretty easy to clear the board.

well, I'm using it to manage key events some graphics when i get to that, so might as well at least try and use the sounds stuff there too. possibly considering using pyglet. anything at this point though, unless i use something only for sound would almost be a complete rewrite of my code. not to mention having to learn a new module.

Google worked on this whole thing with Humanware. Some of the sounds are talkback ones. Edit mode sounds are new, and the move sound is the nicer, traditional android keyboard move sound.

And while I do agree that it doesn't make sense why talkback doesn't work, let's also take into account that this screen was made completely from scratch by Humanware, was never designed for talkback to begin with, and was never tested with talkback. So let's take that into account.

Chriss, firstly. 10gb isn't true, wherever that came from. You get 16gb of internal, removable storage. The unit's hard drive is an sd card. No custom shape, just an sd card, located in the battery cavity. I will ask Humanware tech support to make sure of this, though, but I believe this may actually be the first device with expandable storage! They say don't place the Touch's card in the pc, but first of all, that's because you shouldn't make files with the pc then save it to the card. Second, they say it can cause irreparable damage if you do so, but any android user knows that that's because you could technically have root access with that card in anything but the Touch. The average user could be inadvertantly trying to save a file with their computer on the card, but miscalculate, ending up messing up some of the firmware, thus bricking the device. As there's no downloadable firmware of the device unless you count software updates, unles
 s they've done a complete backup of the card, then, true, it would be irreparable, at least until they got a fresh copy of the firmware. Because, after all, it's only a software brick. But what I'm wondering, is what if you imaged the card, then copied it over to another , larger card, making sure it was formatted under the same filesystem as the Touch's sd card, maybe you could potentially get more storage. I"m not taking any chances till Humanware has beeen contacted on this one, because the last thing I want is to do it all for nothing. As for running talkback, talkback does not work. I tried, and it said unfortunately, talkback has stopped. However I really don't think you'd get far with it. There'd be no braille translation, no keyboard support, nothing like that. When you use explore by touch, you're pretty much getting talkback functions inside keysoft. You can still assign two-part vertical gestures. But there are also some extras
 , like screen describer, a feature sort of like item chooser on the iphone, where you can list all the items on the display and go to a particular item.

OK I gave this a try, and: this! is super dooper funny! at least to me and my taste with things that makes sound. Now a little suggestion: items spaun very fast, so suddenly the map gets filled with sounds. That way you do not enjoy a lot when you throw stuff to other objects.I don't know since you are planning on  at least touch the codee for this, but I would suggest that items do not spawn that quickly, or at least that it gives you the opportunity to throw, then get something

Hello,Here are a few questions and comments I have. First, how much disk space do you get on the unit? I heard it was only about 10 GB of user storage. Second, have you installed TalkBack? What is it like running TalkBack on Humanware's customized interface? While I think this device sounds cool, I just hope the hardware will support future updates to Android. I hope they don't plan to stay on 4.4 forever, or we'll wind up right where we were on the Apex.

I've only had this thing for two days now, and already know I'll be using this for years to come, which is more than can be said of your traditional notetaker. The Apex came out, still with the same obsolete pocket-pc operating system windows ce, just months before voiceover on the iphones improved, and Android accessibility on the horizon. Yeah, it was quick to fall behind. Braille note Touch is so streamlined, that really keeping Android up and running is half the battle.

STW's item tracking system would help a lot.  sometimes you're trying to track one thing down, but then you get in range of something else that takes priority of what you were tracking in the list. Then you have to either get that item first or ignore it to get what you were going for in the first place.

This is awesome! The Director Cut is available on the website and costs $20. It adds some extra storyline that enhances the story. I'm glad I purchased it. Speaking of the full books, does the Season 1 audiobook contain any material not found in the podcast feed like the Director Cut? Even if it doesn't I may still pay the $10 just to support Christof. I hope the series continues. I'm planning on buying all the premium content which I feel is reasonably priced. It will be good to get more content. The series hasn't been updated for over 2 years. Finally, how do I convert a .m4b file to mp3? The Director Cut book came in m4b format. While I was able to play it in VLC, I want to convert it to mp3 so I can play it on my Stream or other devices.

This is a little program I wrote a really long time ago and didn't know what to do with. Maybe I'm misunderstanding something about the guide, then.Is the only way to get any info out of the Steam client to repeatedly use the OCR feature, even with this command line switch turned on? I'm using Jaws 17 on Windows 10, and the OCR is only partially helpful.I'm able to log in without problems, but the Steam window itself seems to be almost totally unusable. The farthest I managed to get was an "Installing Final Fantasy XIII," screen, which had some sort of license agreement. But I couldn't actually agree to it with OCR.Any advice would be appreciated. Alternatively, are their any other great games playable on Steam?

the rifle sux when it comes to destroy getts. avoiding gett miseels is inpossible right now. even if you jump when someone fires it you will get hitted. there must be a way to protect our self from them or fix so they fall down slower. also why can't we just fire misiles with the controll key? the alt m key doesn't work all the time

Well, I now have the touch. It's only been a day, and I can say it's more worth the money than any braille device on the market. The case is durable. The cover is nylon, with the keyboard magnetically attaching to the screen if you wish to use it. The unit is very responsive. Here's the deal with the Braillenote Touch version of Acapela. You'll have Heather by default, and you can have one secondary voice. However, that secondary voice can be any of the Acapela voices available, except for the special effect voices. So the Braillenote Touch is basically your free license to almost any voice available, with the only tradeoff being that only one second voice can be downloaded. You can always replace that voice, though. You aren't stuck to it once you get it. Of course, you can get the normal Acapela and access your purchased voices from there, and the two will get along.

Hi guys, I totally agree with Masonian and SamTupy, this topic is beeing the batle field map of red spot, ROFLLMAO. Guys pleas! go back to the topic wich is an awesome game called RedSpot and not about personal problems ETC. What happened has happened and passed, shouldn't we forget the passed now?Ok, there is a little bug with rockets, when you jump and launch them to a jet, they hit when they launch and when they explode, and it's impossible to avoid them with it!Also, if you jump and enter a jet in the air, fly it and shoot, your jet will be hit with your bombs boom boom boom, and I guess missels too, not sure about them though. I'll tell you when I test them.

@315, go do it now.@sam, i'm having a suggestion, that maybe lost. Pilot the jet with your team members. So they can go on your position and when you enter the jet, they ae entering with you. They can't shoot, maybe passagers just.Also, maybe add some high buildings on the map? it's really fun when you are battling with melley weapons and bm! you fall! lols.Really, really fun.i have a sggestion for rockets, so they can hit the jet, and you can hear them via the jet and dodge them.that's all i think for now.Good luck on your work sam tupy!

So I'm encountering a strange problem.  I've actually noticed while heading towards the town with the moon dungeon that I don't seem to be picking up armor I find.  Consumables appears to go into my inv, but I've picked up the Steel helmet, the Royal hat, and the earth shield up.  However, I can't find them anywhere in my inventory, and the shield is needed for a door in the cave there.  Anyone know what's going on with my file and if I should restart and reinstall?  I think weapons are also fine to be picked up as I think I picked up a gun along the way that I didn't have before.  Help is appriciated

I'll try writing some things in summary form.From home:Going all the way up to the top is where your tabs are. If you highlight the home tab where it says home, one of seven or whatever it says, Pressing left from here opens guide.Going down from the top on home tab, puts you on the most recent game or app you played, if you are signed in. Press a to launch the app or game.Press right trigger from a tile, to jump the cursor to my games and apps, if you want to manage games or check on downloads etc. Press a to launch my games and apps.Press right bumper from a tile to jump to the next tab, and left bumper to jump to previous. Alternatively if you reach the edge of a screen it will scroll, or if you go to the tabs you can just pick a tab and press down arrow.My post is now going into longform mode, and I do mean long. Press x to record a clip. When you do this you are dropped right back into the game so you can still play and then after a few seconds you will hear a beep and in notifications there will be a dvr notification saying game clip recorded.You can chang
 e how long these clips are in settings, all settings, and I think you go to preferences and then game dvr and streaming. There's a weird option called record that records, that can be set from 30 seconds to around 3 or 5 minutes. This will not record your microphone, but it's useful if you did something awesome. So let's give an example.I just had an awesome battle in Killer Instinct. My game clip is three minutes, so when the match is done, I just double tap home, wait for narrator to say guide, then press x. I'm then thrown back into the match menu and I hear a beep. What has just happened, is the game rewound, recorded the last three minutes of gameplay up to the point where I pressed x. So it's a sort of time travel record, and lets you grab things as soon as they happen.You can then go to something like xboxdvr.com type in your gamer tag and see all of your clips, and even download them as videos to show your friends, or just share the links
  to them. Hi,@Danny: I like the story. However, I'm wondering if there could be an option to toggle between real time cutscenes with the synths, but also for those who might want to imagine it in their own way, and perhaps a sort of 90's feel, toggle between the way project alpha does it as well, using the screen reader. The only problem with that is, well, do you still have the scenes written down that you will be able to put into the game as text? That way you've got the modern realtime way it's with synths for now, yes, but you've also got a way for the imagination to kick in a little more. Project Alpha was great because my own synth was reading it and it aloud me to imagine my own versions of the characters. Although, right now with the synths it's interesting, because I'm kind of imagining a humanoid, but not necessarily human, crew of explorers. It's an interesting take on things either way, I like it.
