What I particularly liked is where in places he appeared to be going a little too far down the "well god is whatever you think god is" route he usually pulled it back to a real form of historical experience and the actual fact that Jesus lived and the affect that had on those around him, and in turn what and relevance that has for people today. The book is available from Bard (we got it on my lady's bard account),for those who have access to that service.@Josh, usually people who identify themselves as gay or lgbt, or heck are just quite happy with someone of the other gender would regard attempts to "fix" rather the ways a dark skinned person would regard attempts to bleach their skin, indeed there are many stories of gay people who have severe difficulty in self discovery just because! of the stigma attacked in some quarters. I always find it odd when people talk about being gay as though it is a "choice" or a "lifestyle" rather than something which someone actually is the denial of which is usually pretty bad for the person in question, eg my poor Aunty Carol had considerable problems with her male husband before things got rather too muchshe admitted that she was attracted to women. I've even heard nastier stories of partners getting together with a man woman who they are not attracted to and being literally raped by the other person since they have no involvement over what is happening. Another thing I will say is that the association here between "Christian!" and "homophobic" seems a little unfair here and possibly a bit culturally biased to more extreme places, such as amaerica. Most Christians I've grown up with are quite okay with the idea that being gay is not a problem, indeed I'll say the Anglican church re cently got a lot of flack in the popular medier, and from many members for going back on their promise to allow gay priests. I've met several gay Christians, indeed a good friend of mine even had his local vicar offer a prayer for him and his husband, and apparently said vicar was quite pissed off at the church for not! allowing him to perform a full marriage ceremony for my friend and his husband.By the same token, I have met some very stupid, ignorant people (sadly my uncle is one), who object to people being gay not for any biblical reason, just because it is "unnatural", or "not right" or some sort of other unreasoning crap . If the player is on the top row, the situation is reversed. If either player's stones go beyond the far left or right holes, for example, they are at hole 2 and pick up 4 stones, 1 stone will go in the other player's row. After each turn, I wont the board to be refreshed for each player. I've copied and ran the code from the examples from the network chapter of the bgt manual, running the server example on 1 computer and the client exampl e on another, opened port 1 on both, since that is what the example uses, and I still couldn't get the computers to connect. What am I doing wrong? As you want an alternative to air pods, I'm assuming you also want those alternatives to do some of the stuff that air pods did. The Erato Apollo 7s have managed to do the charging case thing, one of the most convenient things the air pods had going for them imho. You'll not get the super fast pairing, or the hole switching to mono if only one ear bud is in features. Those features are locked behind apple'sW1 chip and headphones containing those are still pretty thin on the ground. On the other hand, if you just want wireless buds, Check out the Soundmagic E10BT.I've got a wired pair of these, the sound quality can& #039;t be beaten for the price and they'll go up against earbuds 3 times their price and sound just as good. The build quality is solid also. They'll also completely destroy apple pods, both wired and wireless in the music playback game. A lot of this the bible supports this and that and the other thing could be cleared up by people if they are so inclined and have the time and resources to do it... to research the original 2000 plus year old authors behind the bible. What did the original authors intend to say when they wrote it? and keep in mind most of us are reading translations from their original languages and there's bound to be translation errors. And there is different writing styles in the bible as well, which if people do research would yield more about the original author's intent in writing that particular book in a particular manner. Its a lot to study. But for me I'm interested in playing around with computer, phones, and tablet OS's. Once in awhile I'll read catholic christian books and listen to EWTN radio get information off of there. Then I get tired of it and take a few months break. Now I'm into watching all my favorite power rangers seasons on netflix. I never watched lost galaxy in its entirety and it was quite interesting. Now to skip past 3 more seasons and watch it when disney sort of took over and they moved production to New Zealand with Ninja storm, through rpm. So I'll watch some of those I haven't seen or haven't seen in awhile. Maybe a separate power rangers topic is in order? I read the book of the 2017 movie. It was ok. I'll buy the movie and see how it is when its out on itunes for the apple tv box. So far the ninja steel season is quite good. And I'd love to see a season of pr where they say what happened to Rita and Lord Zedd after they got turned back to the good side at the end of pr in space. Ok so Rita's the mystic mother in pr mystic force. How did that occur though.? And what happened to lord zedd? Oh it'd be so cool to have a season where a team of power ran gers maybe finds some old cogs remnants of the machine empire. People have various ideas on what may cause it but no concrete evidence as far as I know. Also from what I heard not even the seemingly most proven courage-rc program has 100% success. And there may be circumstances in which lgbt people just cannot attend such programs. It's too far away, not enough money, and others. They are people, too, and should be trated with love and respect like everyone else. Only thing I'm saying is their unhealthy lifestyles should not be forced on the rest of the culture through tv, education, and other media. But I do think people who are lgbt have some sort of disorder, perhaps its mental, and should get help if possible. How successful that help will be depends on the person themselves and the quality of the professional help given. That was way before I came on here, but it makes me mad, this is why people are distrustful of audiogame developers now. He and others have done stuff like this in the past. Now thankfully we have more trust worthy developers now.But from what I remember hearing, he sold his games to somebody, then they sold them to somebody else, who became draconis. Supposedly he had a racing game in development that he sold to usagames. I figure draconis rewrote some of the games so that they would work on newer systems. And then he started making games for the mac and iOs. I don't know what the state of draconis is now, he was supposed to have written a huge game engine, so that he could make games for apple devices. I hope he hasn't stopped developing, from what I've heard, the draconis games are very high quality.Hth. Re: Eurofly, first geographical atlas and flight simulator for blinds Hi all.Well I am happy to do a tutorial on eurofly but to go through the entire task list took me about 4 months last time.If someone that is starting out or has the time would like to do it well they can do it I guess.For me I do have the time, well I may have the time but I need to know now so I can have the time so I can do it.It won't be for every task.Tasks people need help withtask 1-10.Tasks 11-20.Tasks 20-30tasks 25-40.tasks 60-70.In base terms.The first tasks are intro, take off and land.Next group of tasks have passengers.Next group cover a regular task.The next group cover avoiding countries.Then there are flying to points or through points.Thing is that most of the manual is still not translated.Another thing, while I have seen some updates to voice files of late, no news has actually come out in fact when I contacted the guys that make eurofly I didn't get any responce.What I'd really like to know, is how as an inspecter I can now make user tasks and how they are processed.There are obvious advanced ways in how we can structure our task plan.But I never got into it.Worse with the profile thus completed the game is basically clocked bar the autogenerated tasks and this gets boring real quick.Even with the profile I have always ended up using turbo on all tasks I feel safe, I don't wait for hours and hours to complete a task at all.And as things go, eventually you just end up taking long tasks the music is nice but thats it.Saying that my strong point is fast action and strategy I am not a simulations guy.I mean I will test and play them, but no I don't care to play long winded sims over maybe eurofly a little trucker or the train sims, even then once I am done and have the content done they all take a spot on the completed road.One thing I have noticed is t hat eurofly will randomly maybe because of changes in sound card or something stop using sapi, then start using it again on its own or half use sapi.There is nothing wrong with it but simming for really long periods of time is not what I like. Playing on PC isn't the best experience at the moment, as my computer can run the game, with minr enough lag to make it a little annoying. That, and the pc menus are different than in Sightless's and Ultracombo's community guide... I hope narrator support finds its way into this game. I am wondering about player level... can that be obtained playing offline, or do I have to play online? There seems to be no way to check if I'm going up at all or not. Also, does anyone have an updated single player menu? Shadow Labs would be handy to have... and survival mode seems to be proving very hard to find at the moment. Going down three times once in the fight menu doesn't seem to be it. At least, I don't think it is. I select my character... then it starts making sounds like I'm in Shadow Lab. There's no proper explanation of the rules, how many stones we start with and what is happening. I can't say I even knew this was a board game until I'd downloaded the exe file. I even say this after reading the help file. I think more of an explanation of what is happening is required, and how this game works. For instance, what moves can you make during a turn, while it's about strategy, an example could be useful. This isn't to bash the Bible specifically, just to note that just because someone with a certain belief structure has used the bible to prop up their own prejudice, doesn't give that prejudice any more force than any other forms of prejudice.Btw my lady and I read a fascinating book recently entitled "rescuring the bible from fundamentalism" by Bishop John Shelby Spong maintained the idea of the bible as divine revelationbut with the idea that it was a revelation explained, interpreted and written with the language and attitudes of people at the time, what he said about the history of how various parts of the Bible were written was quite fascinating. Maybe this is a cultural thing, as I said I find a lot of American attitudes rather extreme, since generally in Britain being gay isn't a big deal and it's quite accepted that a man can be gay without prancing around in a pink hooler skirt and a woman can be gay without people assuming she wears leathers and carries a whip. This isnt' to say that homophobia doesn't exist in Britain, but generally it's not common place or held as universal, just as most people who are! gay don't have to be particularly aggressive about identity, indeed when I was growing up it was just held as a fairly standard fact that my dad's friend who we refered to as "aunty caro l" was married (in all senses but the civil), to "aunty maggy" and we realy didn't think much about it .So the hole idea of anyone! being anti gay, or especially trying to prop it up with any kind of backing is more than a little alien to me. As my dad who was a psychiatric nurse for most of his working life, it doesn't matter if a person believes they're napoleon if they're perfect happy believing their napoleon and aren't doing anyone any harm, and generally people who are gay are a lot more together and reasonable than people who believe they're napoleon .Yes I'm sure people who don't like gay people can find evidence in the bible to support their favourite prejudice, but you can find evidence in the bible to support a hole bunch of prejudices if you are inclined to, anti-Semiti sm, racism, sexism, discrimination against the disabled etc. The Nazis were very keen on certain bible passages in support of their own beliefs. This isn't to bash the Bible specifically, just to note that just because someone with a certain belief structure has used the bible to prop up their own prejudice, doesn't give that prejudice any more force than any other forms of prejudice.Btw my lady and I read a fascinating book recently entitled "rescuring the bible from fundamentalism" by Bishop John Shelby Spong maintained the idea of the bible as divine revelationbut with the idea that it was a revelation explained, interpreted and written with the language and attitudes of people at the time, what he said about the history of how various parts of the Bible were written was quite fascinating. Re: Apple Air Pod alternatives? They're separate wireless earbuds. To me, the concept is just motivated by money. I mean, two separate earbuds without the benefit of a headband? Imagine how easily lost those could become. They say it'll make the things comfortable, you won't even know you have them in, but what's so bad about a headband anyway. I personally think the Trekz are comfortable, but that also depends on your headsize hence why there are two sizes available , the regular and the mini, for the same price. 2 year warranty as well.
