For me, I've not been a fan of Pop for a long time now. I feel like these days, it's just repeating the same subjects, sex, drugs, money and breakups. I can tolerate it, but it's not my primary music genre. I've never been a fan of Pop music in general, though. I'm not really in any particular era, though my focus at the moment is chiptunes, keygen music, and game soundtracks. The soundtracks from the Shantae series of games are what I'm obsessed with right now . I've also written a few covers for the NES.

I thought I'd chime in with my top five favorite muds of all time, each holding a very special place in my heart. I have been mudding since 2001 and won't be stopping anytime soon.1. DiscworldIt was the first, and in my opinion, the very best. I started out here, long before terrains were a thing. I accidentlaly led a group of people off of the Ramtops and we all died together. It is a feature-rich mud filled with things to do, people to see, and ways to play. Now it is a lot bigger with the terrains, and sometimes it's hard to get started on, but it is so worth it if you stick it out. If you want to just hang out and gain idle xp while chatting with other players, fine. If you want to min-max and be a BAMF in terms of beating up NPC's and getting your skills up? All the better. If you want to just get your crafting skills up and make quilts, that's fine too. With its quirky cast of characters, it's a fun place to be.2. Legends of
  the JediI knew nothing about Star Wars when I played. I ended up staffing on this mud for years. Roleplay-intensive and full of delicious rp goodness, this mud kept me thoroughly entertained with its approach to both character development and the initial player wipe stages. You can make a lot of equipment, do some quests, and get involved in rp, and it's all good. Hooray for muds that are fun, free, and delicious!3. AchaeaIt took me a while to get in to Achaea. One of the things that I relaly enjoy about it is that there really is something for everyone. The world is so well written that RP is the norm and is not difficult. With its mix of houses, crafting options, and ways to grow in the city, this is a great game when it comes to collaborating with others.4. Project BobDefunct and no longer online, this was the best of muds.  You could gather stuff for crafting, go in to areas and set the difficulties, enter missions, and just enjoy! Y

I even wrote a scary episode for it that dealt with disappearing villagers.5. Actually, I can safely say that git clone --recursive doesn't actually download the binaries submodule, unless it's just my Git installation being, well, should we say, a git?  Anyway, it's alright, git clone, the download the binaries separately. You'll get the same result. As for running the server on Linux, it's pretty straight forward. My instructions come from running this on a Raspberry Pi, which as we know is an Arm-based system, but the same should apply on an x86 linux box or vps. Nevertheless, no matter how you get Mono and asp.net installed, you download and run the server in the same way. Mono and asp.net instructions Keep in mind that if you scroll down past the commands in each step, there is a procedure to download a script that will automate those commands. You'll see what I mean when you read this setup guide.Ok, so assuming we have Mono and Asp.net installed and running, let's make the server directory.mkdir tdvsrvNow to download the fileswget https://github.com/munawarb/Three-D-Vel … Server.exewget https://github.com/munawarb/Three-D-Vel … Server.pdbwget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/munaw … exe.configNow to run the server. cd tdvsrvchmod +x TDVServer.exe./TDVServer.exeThe server is now running. I'm assuming you've forwarded ports  and 4445 already, so I won't go into that as those instructions are router specific. Type the ip address of your router into your browser, and it's all you from there. I will say that if it asks you for tcp or udp, tcp worked for me. Ok, now that we have our server running, go ahead and run the game, and the connect to your ip address. If it places you in the hanger, you're good to go. The good thing is that we're running the server natively, no ExagEar desktop or any other emulation, so not only are we guaranteed the proper hardware support, but we also have the benefit of passing commands straight through and getting output via speech, whether you're running headless or running with speakup. Note that obviously if you connect to the server without letting people know that your server is, uh, online ? you'll be the only pilot in the air, and that can get a little boring, right? Flying around and shooting at nothing is a good way to test your server's connectivity, but once you've had enough, go ahead and crash that thing.  Besides, you being the only one on the board is not a proper stress test for your own server. Sure, if you have two computers or two virtual machines you can always run a second instance of the game to simulate other folks on the server, but unless you have a separate keyboard or are extremely good at switching between virtual machines in realtime, that's still not good enough. Having ai on the server is not only a good idea if there's no one on the server at the moment, but it's also an excellent way for admins to stress test the server to see how much it can take, without having to worry about pissing other people off when they're on the receiving end of a slow connection should the server setup be faulty. Note that this generally doesn't apply to vps's, but if you're running the server through one of your own machines, unless it's an actual dedicated server or a really good machine with killer specs that you can leave unattended, do keep that in mind.

I've dug around abit but most of the links are outdated, can't find any API documentation either, unless its in the user manuals. Only thing that seems to have them is NVDA which comes with HanSoneConnect.dll along with SyncBraille.dll for the HIMS SyncBraille Display. I suppose you could ask the HIMS developers directly about the API's and documentation though their support section.

Here are the reasons:- only 2,5 % of downloads were on PC Windows (rest is Android and IOS)- games will now support Game Center and Google Play - PC Windows is not compatible- new highscore and leaderboards for every game- achievements for every game- some of the games are designed specifically for touch screen and might not be as fun on PC- the more platforms we support the more development time, testing and higher cost of production- and finally - we don't have a easy way to distribute the PC version (paid)If there will be a high demand and easy way to sell the game on-line we will consider it later, for now we want to complete as many games as possible.Jarek

I'd definitely prefer a PC version over IOS. I don't really play any games on my phone, I should get into it more. I'm a PC guy though when it comes to games. Even a windows 10 app would be awesome

Slj, only problem I could see with accounts is that each account would have to be configured on each individual server. Besides, the server is open sourced, not sure how well accounts would work unless someone encrypted the account info in a way outside of the server program itself which they should do. If banning players is what you want to do, I suppose the closest thing would be manual ip blockage, but that would only work for that server alone, obviously. Server AI would be nice, though.

It involves having multiple accounts on the same machine, then having the game running in each account and switching back and forth between them. On an unrelated note whoever said that Pythor transforms at level 36 was wrong. I just got mine there, so I'm guessing it's level 42 like the first person said.

Hi Munawar.I have one more request for the multiplayer part of the game.It gets quite boring to stay online if you're the only person online. Therefore, it would be cool if there was a mode, where you could battle against other plains which the server send out. You could get trophies, points, levels or other things for keep playing. The point is to keep people entertained when they are the only one on the server, or maybe help other players survive by helping them destroying the planes.This would of course need an account for each player. Right now, all people can log in and spam the server by chat messages or do other kinds of odd stuff. If the multiplayer part gets popular, there will always be people who are cheating or doing other bad things. Therefore, the server administrator should be able to bann accounts if needed. Banning people would absolutely be my last choice, but other multiplayer games has shown that there's the need for that...Wha
 t do you think about all this?Maybe in the future, people could make online missions, where people could help each other. Maybe in teams.There are so many great possibilities with the online part of the game. So it's up to you to decide in which direction the development should go. Want To Start Playing Pokemon

So I've been subscribed to the Blind Pokemon dropbox folder for a while, and I've never really played a pokemon game before (except for Crystal, when I got stuck in the Ilex Forest). I've also played Manamon before, but I'd like to try playing another actual pokemon game.So, what will I need to get playing (aside from the ROM's)? I've got a DS/Gameboy emulator and all the FAQ's in the Blind Pokemon folder. Is it a good idea to watch LP's while playing (I've read something about blind players doing this)?Also, what's the best game to start with?

there's a shop very near where you start where you can get an identifyer from.  then the lofco vending machines found all over the place such as in the hotel south of recall are great for starting gear.  Look around and ask if you have any questions.  death is hardly an issue on this game, as you don't drop your corpse.

Michael, Viclious reported that error as well. not sure which one gave that error...I'll fix it as soon as possible. It was probably one of the quick codes i put in hastily before releasing it and forgot to fix.Dark, if you have something you wonder, help files are your friend. They're mostly up to date, and they help you a lot. If you have questions, ask. sometimes there's no one on except some imm's mortal chars idling in the background, but most of the time we're on. Viclious in particular, helped me set myself up when i was a newb. He sure could help you too. And not just him, me and everyone too.

O am sorry that vipmud stopped working on your PC Luciana. I think you might like some of the things that came about. dardar, I do not know about you, but the release of the Premium Miner prove to be worth while to me. It is making the collection of some of the resources I wish to collect alot easyer. Did I just say that? I guess that would be a a mistake on my part seeing that something will most likely happen to make it harder again, like maybe raise the amount of said resources required for some of the things I wish to make. I did buy a player made mod that I installed for this ship and cargo space I have makes the collection of minerals a bit easyer. I do find it interesting how each of the different players seemed to have worked themselves into a slot. Some sell one thing while others sell something else. It all seems to work out somehow and that is one thing I like about this mud. The power play like there is on other muds do not seem to be there or not all that bad. There i
 s even a place selling tacticle areys and someone else have been giving them away too. Plus the rift satelites and the weapons along with the different places to get drinks and food. I personally have been running some missions of late and sort of found them fun in away.

Thanks everyone.So there are at least 5 of you not including me.I am also a win7 user, sorry about the rambly questions, even if its a tentitive answer thats enough for me.My point was to see if all the smart phone and non smartphone market is set on well just using a single smartphone platform and this has been proven not to be that way.However there really needs to be more than 5 of you, that want this, for myself I will probably if I request get a pc version for in house company testing, but its not distributable.One thing that I am thinking of and which I submitted to sonnar last night was the use of guidedog games.I know that for some of you thats going to be a bummer, but it ticks the distribution boxes entirely for me.I am not sure if scores can be submitted or not, I may enquire later today when the power is on again.It still is but will be going off within the next 2 and a half hours or so.As you can imagine that gives
  me little time to really put much work in bar the minimal things needed so I don't have a backlog of the crappy status check of blogs and the like.I would urge others to discuss heck if you want to email me offlist though put it here, if we can get a number say something between 10-20 as first goal then maybe up to 100 people saying they want pc I may submit it, aparently thousands aparently are playing on the smartphone though I have no way how to quantify the actual figgure and sonnar are not saying exactly how much.On the subject to the user playing for free with no adds, you probably have version 1.0 or something v2 and up is fully add supported.At least I am pritty sure it is the latest updates are supported of that I know of.In terms of playing with guidedog the only issue I have is entering my card info to buy a game, however, once brought the client will remember your credentials so unless you have to enter things again on say an system reinstal
 l there is no issue running guidedog on pc.True there are a couple restrictions but for a startup well it could be worth it.It also helps to know dentin makes this thing and his stuff has reputation of quality as a distributer and member of a small startup company even with a couple restrictions of termination and extra fees it does sound quite attractive.Especially if it means  that installers can freely be shared by whatever without the issue of people getting the game for free without user incripted keys that the user does not see tied to their username etc.I have played games both intercepter and yellobonnit by vga and both are responsive enough.The only thing to note is you can not turn off your speech reader inside the games but you just do that after you launch the client you can always alt tab back to the client to close speech and you can hide the client away I know that much.Anyway better continue moving on.This at least does 
 show that like me there are others both on the smartphone and those that are only on pc wanting the pc version.Are there any more of you that backed the project and wouldn't have otherwise if they would have not got a pc game even if they had a smartphone or several smart devices?That is important it may be enough to sway sonnar, I have some weight but only so much if there is little gain to pc then its not going to happen.

I did give avalon a third try recently but even though I put time in as before I just got lost when I finished the newbie academy  and had chosen a guild (alchemists as it happens). I wound up with nothing to do, help[ files that were so wordy I didn't know how to get started, and confusing things about badges I had no idea where to start with and made polite requests to the point I felt like I was getting on everyone's nurves, but couldn't do anything else since I had no idea how to get into any! activities in the game and wound up sitting around feeling like a spare part until i gave up. cthulhu mud is another I've not tried or heard of, I'd be interested to know more, especially because it's lovecraft's writing that was horrific and that would be something which could be represented in text, albeit I'm trying Cyber assault right now.

@mata, I appreciate the assistance, but at least until I've got a little more of how this mud works it would probably be better for me to look where to find or modify my own gear since I gather gear is a specialist thing here with crafting and levelling weapons and what not, still pointers on where to go or what to aim for might help. For example I'd like the identify thing and at least an idea of what to aim at in gear. That in fact is one thing In alter I found considerably easier after playing a caster as compared to my first attempt with a cleric warrior combo, since I basically could just go for druid cast levels mana regen and int and ignore all other stat bonuses, though of course for the db it si probably a good idea of me knowing how some of the specialist eq stuff in ca works even if eq balancing isn't my favourite part of rpgs.

This game is awesome! I just finished the demo and am really glad I contributed to the Kickstarter campaign. The Mac version is pretty accessible with Voiceover which makes me very happy. We need more Mac games. I'm going to try the Windows version as well to see if the accesss is a little better and try a different path. The only issues I've had are the many unlabeled images and the fact that the inventory system doesn't seem to be very VO friendly. I wasn't able to figure out how to equip my equipment.

@DanC: A few people have had this issue and I've seen only a couple of them overcome it. The only way I know how is to have someone you know contact the developers on your behalf, give them your IP address and have them check it against their security system.

Well I found him.  spoilers, it's in Yugi's pack.also thecardhub.net has all locations of cards listed if you ever wondered where to look for something.  On another note, probably going to pair up on the pro OCR, as I have gone over 500 a day surprisingly,, plus I would like to test it with other stuff.After purchasing, is there anything else I need to do to make it work with the addon?

You just replyed on your own post, Cocoa. I don't care whether people will accept my suggestions or not, I told what I think, and the next step for others. The world is for all of us, and for kids and for adults, and for elders. Have to agree with a phrase about direction, and about that I don't know how it was there during the fight, but it doesn't mean that I lost my understanding how are things in the game. And I never wasn't and will not force anyone to accept my opinion, advices, thoughts, I guess you're experienced with that. And better I will say that it's just a suggestion, at the end, than say nothing: then it will look that if I were really forcing someone, you know, not hiding things when it coms to talking. Some people still, how ever, understand that I am just explaning what I am thinking about, and that there is no madness, no force, and no personal issues at all.
