That's what I was thinking. I didn't put in targetting beeps for every single object since not only would it be overwelming but it'd also cause even more stress on the server. Speaking of which, my connection/log on loop code should be working now. * has to note to self that when receiving an error it won't bring down the hole thing, that's how these errors are getting past me. Either way, that all should be working now.

I had to laugh, I'd always thought that one of the goals of marketing was to develop a memorable name. In that regard Digital River failed miserably. People where always calling Software Passport strange names like Software Password!I started working on Armidillo with it's creator about nine months before Digital River acquired Silicon Realms.The things DR had us do to Armadillo still mak
 e me cringe. To support everything they wanted, the protection engine, which gets attached to every protected program, grew from about 400 KB to something like 2 MB. What a bunch of useless bloatware it was.Although it more than likely not legal, thankfully I kept copies of the source code for versions both before and after DR got a hold of us. Don't ask me why I kept copies of the source code, especially since I have no plans to do anything with it. But something told me at the time that it might be a good idea.

Aah, I haven't tried that. I usually just download the story file directly as it's an if game. If the installer is more up to date then I may try it, however on the database entry Dark seems to think the installer version isn't as friendly, so I think most blind folks just download the story file.IN my latest game session, I noticed the status bar acting up a lot, the screen reader kept on repeating things in the game even though they weren't seemingly on screen, it wasn't reading properly. I made sure the window was maximized. which is why sometimes status bars are a nightmare, which now makes me realize something, and I'm sorry to sound like a pain in the neck here.I'm wondering, please could the evac also be added to the status command for the next upload? The only issue I can see with all these status additions is, well I don't want to end up annoying sighted players. I am not really too sure what to suggest. Could my WinGlul
 kse version possibly be out of date?edit: tried installing the latest glulkse version, it doesn't seem to make a difference to the status bar issues. This really means that the status command is the best way to get game status for screen reader users. I'm wondering if some more commands might need to be added. For instance, status full could show what the status bar shows, including location, time, score, evac, hunger etc.  Just status could show stats, including freecreds, and then maybe something like status world could just show the time, location, score and evac.The alternate way would require a bit more work, and that's separate commands for the greaterthan prompt. hp, lobedo, xp, hunger, evac, time, etc. But could be a quick way to check something, but there should be a command that shows all of it as well.I understand that the second way would be more work, although I'd be willing to donate, as long as the direct story file also got 
 updated.

For those who might have encountered this bug, i've made 2 new changes. First off, if you have a crash and it happens 3 times with in a second, you should no longer be spammed out and thus cause server lag to everyone else. Second off, i've reritten my restarting the logging in portion of the code, splitting it into 2 seporit process's. Their's now a second app I have that'll send an event to the server that the login code is ment to receive. If it doesn't receive it with in 5 seconds, it'll send the signal back to the server to restart the login loop. Hopefully, that'll be the end of our not being able to connect thing, at least when the server is actually up but you still can't connect. Oh yes, and before I forget. I fixt up the glitch that wouldn't notify you all that a server reboot was incoming.

Greetings all. For those who are having that much difficulty with out the autopilot. I have not added it onto the older starting ship. I have however, added a new ship class to the game that has autopilot, and before you slam your fists down, its cheaper than the freighter, in fact 100 credits is its price. So why is it cheaper you ask. Because it has far fewer cargo space than the older freighter does, and its tractor beam's range is smaller. To compansate for this however, you get more speed and better acceleration. And, here's what's coming in the next update, so far. Doors now actually turn off if your not in the same room as them, that is, the sound goes away. Objects will be muffled now if its behind a closed door. C now checks your credits, while z will check how much ammo you have in your weapon.

Honestly, I'm afraid that Defender makes a good point. While it isn't absolutely necessary in many cases just based on what you've developed thus far, it will really help in the long run. You should probably know both sides of the connection before you start really tinkering with it. It will make design a lot easier. Most of the back end shouldn't be too much trouble, when you get into navigation, you might want a solid point of reference. I would also highly advise taking A smartphone or tablet, doesn't matter too much right now as to which one, and play with that screen reader as well. If you have an Android device lying around, Talkback is the main on that one. If it's an IOS, Voiceover is what you are going to be playing with.

Hi,Beatstar doesn't require any money as far as I know. You can donate but there should be an option on the page that says I can't or don't want to donate, or something like that, and it will let you download.However, before you can play the slots game you'll have to play some of the actual beatstar packs to unlock coins.Also, I don't think the slots game has any bonuses or anything like that.

I mentioned to a professor that it was kind of painful to look up things in the java API with a screen reader, so he developed a search tool for searching the java API quickly and very accessibly.So for any java developers out there, here is a tool that could speed up searching the API much faster. HI,@shrike, that totally sucks. I think it was you who said you were running 50 plus slots. to manually do them would not be cool. but maybe you could do those lesser ones. Like the stones, copper, or even the iron ore. This way you have completed something so when you reset you have open slots to fill. but if you have reset before to not get any that's rough. Heck. I might even try to reset gack to totally new and see what happens. Hope you find an adequate answer.Almost done with my 300k timber. debating on whether to unlock armor and weapons to get my next build out of my estate. Its such a lovely 2 story mansion with a pond in front. how cute. lol.also found another spot where numbers are still being read as single digits. In my quest list, the  quest is to sell 300k lumber. it says i have one two three four five six of three zero zero zero zero zero. All other quests I have at this time read like they should.things that make you go hmmm. a
 lso was wondering. if you collect your rewards and reset, we know some things don't get reset and cleared out. A couple of them being the quest to purchase so many automation or do so many boosts. but lets say you want to reset and you had to sell 100 lumber but only sold 50. if you reset does that get put back to 0? or does it stay at 50? Never tried. just thought of an instance where one might be so far along and got the message to reset and thought ok. no harm. my half million lumber not done but could use more quests. so if that doesn't clear and get zeroed out then it might be worth it to reset. And strangely enough as I write this I bet it does get zeroed out since you lose all production slots. would still be nice to know for certain. Happy gaming folks.Shermanator

I wasn't on for very long last night, maybe you tryed getting on when I wasn't or something. I'm now on again and connected to a real network, so maybe it will work. Mine says nothing about pears, it says no connected devices and nothing is being transfored. Should I have the program open now? Because I do and will be on and connected until about 10 to 10:30 PM today. The folder is still their, I didn't remove it then add again if that's what I have to do.

ok, now i've tried this game and i must really say. there are's something that just needs to be said about the navigation system. is the meaning of it that we should walk slowly slowly and bump our heads in to the walls all the time to find the way further somewhere? huh? if not, then this system needs raydars or something like in mannamon otherwise at least i will stopp playing because of this thing that's so anoying. and we also need a run mode like in bk3 so you don't need to hold schift all the time to run. also. the running speed needs to be increased. the running speed that's being used right now should be speed for normal walking and the speed for the running should go faster, right now even a baby can walk faster than running in this game lol. other than that it's a good consept although the lag makes it quite umm, anoying to play lol but that's something that every game iwll have

Yes, I knew for the devil gene. In fact, in the let's play I watched from Shirdel who has been playing Kazuya for quite some time apparently, he mentionned how, in that particular fight, some of Kazuya's moves ressemble Jinpachi's. In fact I wonder if Jinpachi had any lasers to begin with, from what I remember he only had that fireball that takes an entire second to charge up and does about half health in damage (except in the original Tekken 5). So I am assuming Kazuya has it in the last fight of the story. At least he seems to have more then it's typical devil beam. But I guess all of this was added for the sake of spectacle and may clearly have nothing to do with Jinpachi or the Mishima bloodline what so ever. And I never excluded that Jinpachi's appearance was due to a random evil entity that would not be as important as the devil gene anyway, I just thought maybe it could be more important than that.

After trying it it's definitely a good starting point, although I currently see no way to exit. Come to think of it, a menu would be nice. I see why you didn't put one in because you were trying to make the interface simple, but several mobile games use menus without the need for talkback or voiceover, Audio game hub and Blind Cricket for example. Both games allow you to swipe up and down to choose an option and double tap to select without the need to enable talkback thanks to prerecorded menu options. That can especially be useful for viewing achievements. The early levels are rather repetitive, but maybe you could introduce multiple slashes to destroy later opponents, or multiple enemies in one round rather than the few seconds of break you get in between each one when the drum plays. At this point, I'm able to play the game on without headphones, and before anyone asks this is a nexus 6p with stereo speakers, lol.

spoilersJinpachi's was a one off, if you follow the Tekken 5 storyline through to the end. It's not explained, but it's implied that the Mishima bloodline is not the cause of the devil gene. The moves that are similar to Jinpachi's would be the eye beams and lasers Devil Kazuya can shoot... but those have been around since Tekken 2, so it would be more accurate to say Jinpachi actually borrowed moves. Jinpachi only got taken over by an evil spirit after starving to death in Honmaru, after Heihachi imprisoned him there when taking over the zaibatsu. The devil gene comes from Kazumi's Hachijo bloodline.

I agree with defender, if it's really important to you, quit making excuses about working 70 hours and make some time to work with and learn what it is to have to rely on a screen reader. It doesn't matter which one, they all have over lapping features and some features unique to that particular screen reader. NVDA is a good choice, mainly because it doesn't cost you anything to get it.Then blindfold yourself and spend some real quality time with it. You don't have to try and block off enough time to learn it all in a few sessions, but you should keep spending sessions with it until you are comfortable with it.Then come back and look at what you've said and see how much of it is still true.

Yes, and that fight may actually bring back an interesting question.SPOILERDuring a let's play of the story mode I heard the player say that in that fight, Kazuya has some moves reminiscent of Jinpachi. I don't know if it ends up being actually true, but if it is it really makes me wonder which kind of demon Jinpachi became, and if Kazuya can become that kind of demon himself. As if there was something else aside the devil gen that curses the Mishima bloodline.

@OrkoAs I pointed out, I tried the contact form first because I couldn't find the customer support ticket. Then I tried filling out a customer support ticket when I did find it, and finally I submitted a request to the email I mentioned above and got my keys reset. Raiden, has it occurred to you that this is the first appearance of this guy on the forum? True, he said he's checked out some audiogames, but he seems new to the audio gaming scene. Think about it, a simple, or not so simple, slashing game is what some folks start off with. Hell, most folks start off with Guess the Number/black jack/begger-your-neighbor style games to get the randomization concept down before they go on to bigger games. And that's alright. You're not gonna start off with an action adventure as your first game. Yes, and that fight may actually bring back an interesting question.SPOILERDuring a let's play of the story mode I heard the player say that in that fight, Kazuya has some moves reminiscent of Jinpachi. I don't know if it ends up being actually true, but if it is it really makes me wonder which kind of demon Jinpachi became, and if Kazuya can become that kind of demon itself. As if there was something else aside the devil gen that curses the Mishima bloodline.

I doubt that Nero would be able to duplicate a Starforce protected disc, or that if it did, it wouldn't work. The reason being that Nero was never designed to defeat disc protection like Clone CD is.But I could be wrong, and wouldn't mind being proven wrong, if it results in a way to get the full game.

Redspot (takes a while to get good at and it has some balance issues) but other than that, as long as you don't let some of the asshole players get to  you, and if you don't try to build a base expecting it to last, you should be fine.RTR (even if you can't find a server you can always just make your own and play with a few friends) it isn't that hard to set up, and the game is still pretty good even today.TDV2 (it's free now, which is pretty cool) you can get it from the topic in new releases, just make sure to get the one from post 12, not post 1, since it's newer, and if your going to play online, use server.coolfortheblind.dk. It's very fun, doesn't take long to get good at if you've used flight simulators before either. But almost all of the voice acting is so bad that at points it will make you want to kill your self just to escape it, and the story is, very, very stupid, as if it were written by a 12 year old.Operation Blacksquare (for me at least) it's very hard, you die fast, and it's often difficult to line up with items to pick them up. But the sound design is great, the story is pretty good for that type of game, and it's still fun.Bloodshed, Release the pain (not many people know about this one) it's a very simple game but it can be quite addictive, it's one of Sam Tupy's creations.Battlezone (yep this one is still around) it works better without Peter's mod, and the first boss is still broken, but you can play it just fine anyway.Super Liam (you can get this for free now) it's old, comparatively easy on most levels, and doesn't have random enemy spawning, but it can still be somewhat fun, especially if you haven't played it for a while.World of war (this is pretty addictive) even if the trophies and movies are in Japanese, it's quite hard on the higher levels too.Audio Quake with the St

Angel, why don't you post the exploit they found. The problem is that some of the exploits involve disabling or disconnecting your cd drive so Starforce doesn't recognize it, and can be destructive to your system if done wrong. On the other hand cd cloning shouldn't be too hard. I wonder if a .nrg file would work, since that's an exact rom copy, possibly sector-for-sector. Someone with an original disk should try it with Nero Image Burner. What I'm thinking is that if you extract the .nrg or convert it to iso it will stop working, but if you burn an .nrg to disk it just might work.

That menu is not a cheat... that is part of the story, which, even with JGT, should be pretty clear. As to the translation dictionary, normally I would be willing tu support free addons like this... but in this case, with three people working on it, I don't think a lot of peoplewho want it for free realize just how much there is to translate... and not only that, but translate it all correctly, have it sound good and how much sheer text there is in this game. lol I hope you can either get a bank account some time soon, or have someone buy it for you... especially as you receive free updates.

This might be a secret or a cheat, in stage 15 I noticed that if you press t on a level, it displays a dialog, support for electron or something, IDK what it actually is because the inaccurateness of JGT, there are sope options like rocket drop and bombing of remote medical kit or something. Well if you sign up (and get selected) and it does get quarantined, that is in and of itself valuable testing feedback for us. We'd rather know that's happening now, then have someone purchase the game when it's released only to find out that their antivirus won't let it play. That's a very strange thing, though—hopefully it won't happen with AHC.On the subject of wanting to play the game early: let's put this to rest...I assume (and hope) that anyone beta testing the game is excited about the opportunity to experience some of what the game has to offer early. If that excitement wasn't there, I'd be a little surprised. But the point being made, and rightly so, is that beta testing is about more than that. So that means that the people we select will be those we think have the best skill set and priorities for getting us the type of feedback we're specifically looking for. Definitely a lot of people who apply will not make the cut—maybe even if they are qualified. We just have to toe the delicate balance between not having enough testers to be useful, and having so many that there's no way such a small team can handle all of the feedback.

Forgot to mention I don't have a smartphone and was mainly hoping for things for my laptop. The VA they picked is just bad... which is par for a Japanese game when the company gets lazy and doesn't use top name American or English speaking voice actors. Also... I was thinking about this last night, and NRS could really take a leaf from this game in how they present story mode fights. There are so many places where in NRS games you just watch a long fight scene involving one person battling three or four, whereas in Tekken you actually get to play out that fight. It's also amazing that Tekken 7's story mode has actual boss fights that have phases and multiple parts to them, where the NRS titles have pretty much the same standard fighting formula... for this reason, I think despite the bad plot and length which Namko could've expanded by taking a few aspects from NRS titles, I enjoyed more than Injustice 2... the gameplay is just varied in a way that you don't get to experience in the rest of the game, which I like.SPOILERS!!!s p o i l e r s<
 br />The final fight with Heihachi and Kazuya is one of the most epic boss fights in fighting game history. It's hard as hell and I haven't beaten it yet, but the way it ramps up from standard fighting to over the top badassery with amazing music is fantastic!

I think there is still something wrong with the quest rewards though,for example, I have still not have had a quest to restart all the lumberyard slots even though I have all the others, and I now have a 5 million log quest which quite frankly without the restart button that can get lost.the most I have ever got my storage was 16000, and to get 5 million logs would take forever,I think I will concede to the game that it has beaten me.   here is my final quest list that I have given up on.5 million logs. reward 50% cheaper automation1 million timber. reward lumberyard produces 25% faster2 million grain. reward plus 2 grain production2 million leather strips. reward plus 2 leather strip production10 stone. reward 10% cheaper automation60 iron ore. reward plus 10 minutes automation25000 copper. reward plus 5 minutes automation1000 automations. reward plus 5 minutes automationsee what I mean

@AngelWhy take discontinued game requests off the forum and require the use of a program some of us have chosen not to install or use? My last experience when I tried to use Skype wasn't a good one, so I'm not willing to mess with it again.What would actually be better would be to pass those discontinued games to the audio games archive at http://www.agarchive.net/, that way any one that wants them can find them there without needing to specifically request them.For now though, I will leave the Store Sim game in my Sendspace so that it's readily available for any one who wants it.If you have more discontinued games you are willing to share, feel free to send them to my Sendspace and I'll host them too.

I have also achieved success by contacting atguys.com. They reached out to CF and got a key reset for me. @Raiden, death is correct here, if your going to voice such a strong criticism of the game, please give reasons for why you think as you do, otherwise it just sounds like  doing nothing but bashing the game. After all, how can a developer improve a game  you give them no feedback, and how can other forum members decide  to trust your opinion about a game if you give no arguments in favour of it. @Slj, Myself, I will reserve judgement on the game until I have played it, after all not all games need upgradable weapons and extras if the mechanics work well enough, look at the other blind samurai (the flash one on pc by evil dog productions), as an example of a game which just features slashing and blocking but has amazing mechanics and great cut scenes. I will say a little more information about what you actually do in the game  be good to know, ie how complex the mechanics are, whether enemies attack, if you need to block, if it is the usual left/ri
 ght stereo target style, how many different types of enemy there are etc, however in general I will wait  until the Ios version has come out and I've had a chance to play it myself to make up my mind,   heck I'll probably need to do this to add the game to our site database anyway.

@SLJ you can definitely complete missions. You can also select a destination on the map and auto drive to it. The main problem is, of course, as in all mainstream games, the menus are not spoken, so you have to either take notes or memorize them. For example, if you want to go back to your safe house, you need to press start, go to the map menu, and select safe house from that menu and then simply press j to auto drive to it. I formatted my computer a while ago and I have all the trainer's menu somewhere on an external HD, so I'll try to find those when I have more time. This game is interesting if you are willing to put some time on it. It's not a game you'd want to pick up and expect to be doing missions right away, you need to learn how the trainer works, a few of the hotkey commands, plus you need the auto drive mod. But some missions are definitely doable.

@SLJC to check your current coordinates.  I use the [ and ] keys and keeep the info in the buffer and shift [ and] to jump up and down lines quickly, and if I hit say 1 or whatever, I hit shift ] to jump to the end of the chat to avoid hearing all the stuff that's around me.One trick I do is hit V and scan an object, then go up and down the chat with the [ and] keys and hear the course, hit F and go that course, then do V again and check after a few moments if the course to intercept has changed, and adjust my ship's heading according to that.
