I have vlc, but I think I have the 32 version as opposed to the 64 bit reaper which is the problem. And apparently mp4 is supported when importing, just not exporting.. but I might try movie maker first. Thanks for the tip!

well I can personally run off map 4 in way under a minute from the sz. if you have to run a defender mission and exit to get back to map 1 you are definitely exploiting a loophole and maybe you should look at if you are actually any good at the game to start with.actually I wouldn't suggest it now if you have a lot of stuff to lose but we used to do a challenge called running the gauntlet.you had to run from sz1 to sz4 with no armor on and use no meds. then run back again.the game has changed a bit since and the zombies hit harder but it was fun. I actually ran the gauntlet from sz1 to sz5 and back once but man that was scary.

My purchases look like they're going to be exactly what they were when I beat easy and played normal. carry over sword level, recovery amulets, status items, money, bubble, and double xp. Then I have 6.5k left over. Surely I can do better. This is why I have two copies of a save when I get to the Rudolph dungeon. Just in case I beat the game and don't like what I see. I want double caron. Doesn't look like I'm gonna get that on this next playthrough either.

I read a lot of fanfiction, and most of those appear to be rushed.The ones that do have a good story could easily be fixed by proofreading before posting to the site it's hosted on.Funnily enough, one of the better Harry Potter Fanfiction stories I read in quite some time was written by a blind person, and that story hardly had any mistakes.So bad spelling isn't just in the blind comunity, it appears to be everywhere these days.Now, I'm going to go slightly off topic and ask, why do some posts on here somehow translate to braille symbols?I've noticed it in a few posts and the only way to decipher them is by reading it slowly using the cursor keys and using your knowledge of braille to translate the text.I'm wondering what a sighted person sees when they come across those posts.I'd give examples, but I can't think of any posts that have them off the top of my head.Sorry for going off topic, it's just something that I've noticed on here from time to time.

Here's the other thing. If you only buy the stuff that matters, you will alsays have BP left over if you explore. I can usually do a full playthrough (extra dungeon included) in about 4 hours, sometimes a little more if I'm being really thorough. I always make sure to carry over my sword level, plus stat items (so my attack and defense stay high and whatnot, and my HP). And when I start getting into higher difficulty, when my strength outstrips the difficulty, I do the thing where all hearts are money, and rake in a killing. Double exp and/or double money is also a nice thing. I don't bother buying the cosmetic stuff, or the bonuses that let you play as characters right from the start. I see no point in it.

I am still playing, just need to choose a main proffession as its suggested by most people to focus on one skill and carry on raising it to max. the better you are at that skill proffession the better off you are likely to be. I have a cow and a chicken so far, working on expanding my ranch still I don't see the problem people are talking about when equipping the tools, I am able to do it just fine without any problems. So, I hope everyone is having a good April, considering we start this month with paranoia.My exams did start at the very first date of the month, and so far I have given two of them. I must really say, after giving exams of hundred marks, and question papers which usually have at least six to eight pages, so far I have only 35 marks. and the question paper is only one page long.Though I think this was the case only with language papers. I am sure that other subjects like accounting or business law would be at least long.But seriously, the at current moment, I really dislike my university. because you have to get the approval of the local area exam controller. but the guy refused to aprove my original writer.I have to scram to find a new one, and even then, I have to make sure that the people would at least agree. it really is not fun.It is interesting to know about different thoughts about the online games. personally, I stopped playing them, because just to advance, you have to play them so much. after a while, I just got fed up with it. at least in the offline games, I can play with my own pace. there is a reason I intensely dislike online modes of the games, and online games in general.I really can't wait to get back to programming.

You also may have Ripple mode on - which if you have ripple all on, it'll cut across every track.  Use Alt P to toggle through ripple editing modes, and make sure it's on Ripple Off so you're only effecting one track.

You can trim in Windows Movie maker - go to where you want to cut, and hit I for the front of the file.  Do the same and hit O for trimming the ends.  That's as far as I know for movie maker.Reaper you trim and cut the same way you'd do with audio, but I've had no success with using the video processor accessibly - aka the thing you need to actually use fancy video effects in your videos, but you can trim sections out from all over the project in reaper, just like editing audio.  For the encoders, it's recommended to download VLC media player and use that as your encoder, it's what I do.  Note that MP4s don't work in Reaper as far as I've tried, unless a newer version has fixed that, and unless you download a video converter to switch over to MP4, .Mov is the format you'll be exporting to from Reaper.  Which is nbd, just takes up a lot of space.

I don't think it will ever completely not bother me, though, when I play AA and I see a gossip message like this:"How do I find the speerit stone in the honted hills? Playing devil's advocate here, why would someone take the time to learn how to spell if this technology can, and will, hold their hand? Laziness is an epidemic, so they'd need to have a very intense motivation to fix something that they very well may not feel is broken. Also, something as personal as how one presents themselves, even in writing, can illicit strong defensive reactions. If somebody won't get help for an alcohol problem, for example, even if it's visibly destroying their life, what in the world makes you think that someone will change their spelling and grammar habits just because the internet can help them to do it? The internet can also enable them to stay comfortable in their habits, just like liquor stores can enable alcoholics to stay in theirs.I'd like to agree with your opinion, and on a purely primal level, I do. In fact, in my less than ideal moments, I've made fun of people for not spelling basic things right, and have taken someone's points less seriously if they couldn't be bothered to lay them out for me in a neat, understandable fashion. But let's be real here. Nobody wants to better themselves if somebody is always cleaning up behind them, even if that somebody is just the faceless mass we call the internet. You can justify anything, no matter how foul, if you try hard enough to find your niche there.

First off, I don't think I could agree with the above post anymore if I tried. E-Z you sum it up perfectly.Also on that topic, I'm sure some of these people that disconnect do it so they don't fight and lose things to breakage like armor and weapons.If that's the case, don't attack. You attack a fort you should go in expecting to lose things, and expecting to potentially die. It's like someone walking into your house holding an eagle and hanging out there till they notice you, then just running off out the back door. Obviously you came in for a reason, so stick around. Secondly, Aprone could very well be trying to replace server parts. He could be away and not even realize the server is down. It could be any number of things.I say this next part with the utmost respect for Aprone but, even a hurried little notice would be appreciated if you do know about the server.Some of us pay quite a bit of money every few months, heck we all do. I completely understand having a job, life, Family and kids take up a heck of alot of time, but also, given that we gladly pay for this game, I don't think it's much to ask that we at least get some up-to-date information about when bugs are going to be addressed, or if they're going to be at all. We put up with the bugs because we love swamp. We love what it offers and the totally unique gaming experience you get with it. However when fort raiders seem to half work or not work at all depending on the day, crates don't drop when you're trying to do a reset mission to defend forts, so your forts take more damage than they should since you have to find more crates, when people are dying in all kinds of ways because of bugs, when you're double-checking your armor every time you cross from map to map just in case it's been taken off, heck and all the rest of the bugs. I don't feel like it is asking too much to at least know if anything is being planned or worked on. Lastly, I do thank you for the Individual gaming experience you provide with swamp, Aprone.  I also cheer for all of us who stick it out through the tough parts and the bugs.  I realize the server being down is probably frustrating to many of us, but I guess just try to be forward-thinking and keep an eyeball out for when it comes back.--Kitty.

This may be an unpopular opinion and I apologize, but...If someone has a computer, can use said computer, and doesn't have some sort of mental disability that keeps them from learning, they have no excuse for not looking up how to spell things properly. Google is your friend. Dictionary.com is your friend. Any program with some basic spell-checking functionality is your friend. If you encounter a word using a screen reader and don't know how to spell it, reading character by character is your friend. I don't care if someone was never taught Braille and only reads using speech. There is absolutely no excuse but laziness or mental disability with all the technology we have.To anyone who said they were never taught but are trying to learn on their own, I salute you. For anyone who has a mental disability that makes things difficult, I say do your best. For those who just say “Well I never learned so I can't spell,” I say stop being lazy and use your technology to learn instead of letting it hold your hand.Does Braille help? Absolutely. Is it necessary? Not if you have the willingness to learn with speech. It can be done. Punctuation is another issue and Braille will help with that as well. If you're intent on learning, there are many pages on the internet about proper grammar and punctuation.So, in closing, is lack of proper education in schools to blame? Sure, but so is the lack of self-education. There is so much we can do to learn on our own.

What are all the things that give bonus points? Is it true that you get more if you go through the game as fast as you can yet collecting everything there is? Do I actually lose out on bonus points by grinding and taking my time? I went through on normal this time and unlocked more of the game and picked up more items and still only got 25000. Does it get docked when you use saves? Does it go down when you die? If it's true that you get more by being both hasty and thorough that's gonna be tough. Those two things are normally mutually exclusive for me.

on a 64bit system, 32bit components are still needed, especially when you deal with com dlls and registry files which register on system32 and on syswo64. You cannot compare a screen reader with something like Microsoft office or so. The difference here is, Jaws will not install 64bit components on a 32bit system. But it certainly will install some 32bit components on a 64bit system.

Hi @Enes, if you have read carefully the whats new of jaws 2019 you would have not said that. This is a quote from the whats new:Starting with JAWS 2019, there is now one link to download and install JAWS for all supported operating systems and languages. You no longer have to choose the correct setup executable based on your system as well as which language you need. When you begin the setup, the installer automatically detects whether you are using 32 or 64-bit and installs the correct components.>That being said, Jaws is by far not only 64bit.

As for audio formats Sable currently supports OGG and WAV file types. Intro and looping systems aren’t currently possible in sable. There are some interesting ideas in your post regarding testing, so a huge thanks for the suggestions. It’s a little too soon for us to be discussing  testing though,  since we’re just not quite at that stage yet. Hi Everyone,I wanted to also give everyone an update on the Holman prize competition which we entered Sable into. Firstly, we just want to say a huge thanks to everyone who liked or shared our video,  to date it has received 1099 likes and was viewed over 4000 times, which is phenomenal . the deadline for likes was last week, and although we didn’t quite get enough likes to win the peoples vote and secure a place in the finals, our project has still however been selected as one of the semi finalists in the competition, which is fantastic news which we are all really excited about. We will be sure to post here to keep you up dated on whether we make it to the finals or not , which we should hopefully find out towards the end of next month. Yeah, I paid for a fair bit of content in Kingdom of Loathing, and I still burned out on it after awhile. After the quest system changed, for the worse in my opinion, I never felt the same about it again. The turn limit never bothered me that much, I always kind of saw it as, "hey, you've played enough for the day, go do something else!" I still have a Ko-l coffee mug my friend bought me when we were both in the height of our obsession with the game, and I'd definitely be sad if something happened to it because the physical merchandise is no longer being sold.

It is playable. I win games all the time. The order of the numbers, is resource cost, damage, attack, defense, HP. If a card does not have a given stat, for example; no attack power, it has a zero in that space.I wouldn't have posted about the game if it weren't completely playable and blind players couldn't win games. I have an 87 percent win ratio, so I am not just guessing at what I'm playing.

I got a pm about this one as well, and I still have no idea, since honestly the game was only created at the end of last year, and I only just put the db page up in January. Here is the topic about the game in new releases, but as the developer doesn't seem to have been back to the forum, and neither the linkes to her/his website nor any of the links she/he gave to the game work, goodness knows what's going on. I'm not even sure if this game could be hosted on audiogames archive if anyone had it, though that seems a bit ridiculous for a game that was around only two months ago.

This is one of these questions that comes up every few years. Back when I started editing the db, we actually did!try removing unavailable games from the db, accept two things happened. The first, was games started making a come back (I had to completely rewrite the chicken killer page). Both because Pc games would get hosted elsewhere (something  even more likely now with the audiogames archive), or with online games like alien adoption agency starting up again. The second, was a bunch of people were saying "hay what was such and such a game?" and it always coming up in discussions. It was for this reason the unknown license type was created. If a game is listed as "unknown" it basically means either the game has vanished, or the game has been shutdown and we're not  sure what has happened to it.All games with an unknown license type also have notes at the top of their description saying that the games are not around, so people know when they're looking at the description what the game is (and if any don't have notes let me know and I'll fix them). Now the one thing I do wish, is that we could have a checkbox to exclude games with the unknown license type showing up in the dropdown, or when you use the "search games" function to display games of a given license type, genre or developer.Failing that however, we do try to make things as clear as possible so people don't get too disappointed, including as Ironcross said, removing site and download links when the websites are completely down.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think you might wish to avoid Bluetooth for this use do to the delay. Instead, I would suggest something like this. defender, 40 MS sounds almost to good to be true. Anyway, I much prefur a wireless system type headphone with less than that when it comes to delay.

@Darren, at the moment you can access the perk information by reading mouseovers as described earlier in this topic. With NvdA you do this with  numbpad divide and then hitting s to go to the next separator, which gets you straight to the mouseover. You can find all the information about perks on the trimps wiki, The poerks page is here plus there are individual pages for most of the  but you have to be careful with that if you don't want spoilers. As far as items go, the portal at the end  dimension of Anger is the item mentioned. You can always check how many items are left on a map, either from the stats under the map in the map chamber, or from looking at the mouseover information on the map's name. hth. I've now hit the fifties level wise, I just hope everything doesn't go down the drain when I hit 60, since uptonow that's been my cutoff point, even though getting there has grown easier each time. Still we'll see.

Huh. Course we've been thrown out of the jailbreak space for who knows how long. I'm definitely waiting for Liam's permission before any of us does this though, as we can ask him how he feels about distribution. If he says no, then this won't be going public, at least not on my end. Yes it's a free game, but if we're talking recompilation I'm definitely not going to consider that without first asking. This isn't somethin else where they let go of their games department and it's Somethin Else's main advertising business or whoever the heck else who owns the rights now. Shame they had to fold as those were some talented developers as well.

Create a folder for BGT games and put them into that folder. Instead of disabling your anti-virus program, make an exception for the BGT folder you created. The version I have to play is even shorter, since it's the original version. However, I did get the Full Voice Version to run, so I guess once I beat the original it's back to the Full Voice! Also, does that door to the south of the temple ever open? I got the sword to level 4 before going to Roodolphia and the door still didn't open. I can tell the difference between German and Dutch. It's hard to explain though. German has more sounds like in Munchen or Leppsich. It seems like in Dutch, those sort of back of the mouth throaty H sounds turn into K sounds. Dutch also  has more rolling R sounds, but it sounds like they use their throat to do it rather than the tongue. I don't really speak either language, but I've heard both enough to tell the differences.

Now that you're bringing up menus getting boring, I understand. Attack, take no damage, attack, win battle over and over again. The Blank Game 2 relies on the same menu system, but I'm bringing in different kinds of puzzles like the switches from The Blank Game 1, more quizes and the maze type place after the second visit to the Palador Hideout. Speaking of the Palador Hideout, it's a lot bigger, and you'll need to find the password to get on Tenshaino's computer before you can even find the map to the prison! Speaking of computers, I'm now trying to locate the sound of a computer turning on physically. What I mean is the sound of the hard drive starting to spin and then the motors inside the computer doing whatever they do. For example, the computer in the school from Bokurano Daibouken3. Ware do developers find these sounds? I've allready got the Narrator sounds and the Windows XP startup sound, now I need the computer sound itself. And yes, Tenshaino and all the other people that work with him use Windows XP just because they don't feel like upgrading for some reason.

You have been using an old version of Adobe Reader. They call it now Adobe Acrobat. You can use ctrl+page down to scroll through pages. It used to work when I was using this program. I now use Microsoft Edge or Q-read.

Just a quick FYI guys. I found a bug in the sonus PCP that keeps some threads alive after the program has closed. Such as looping audio may continue after the program is closed. I've added the clean up routine that I missed out now and re-compiled. new version available for download.

I have little  patience for anyone who leans too far in either direction, and honestly I don’t like the way we view politics to begin with. I’ve heard of Pennsylvania Dutch before, although I kind of thought it was German back then. Honestly sometimes it’s hard to tell between the two for a non-native speaker of either like me. Anyone know of Louisiana French?

Concept of inheritance and explanations?

So, while I'm not building a project that requires inheritance, I think it's time I at least start to wrap my head around the concept: Consider the following code, (python)class test_class:
 def __init__(self):
  self.x=2
  self.y=4
  self.z=3
 def add_xnumber(self,num):
  self.x+=num
 def multiply_xnumber(self,num):
  self.x*=num
class second_test_class(testing_class):
 passThe code above is dumb and pointless, but it does show my question in much more detail. What happened when I typed second_test_class(test_class)? Here's what I know about inheritance so far. Basically, it's like having a kid... without a second parent of course. What does the kid inherit? Does he invent the entirety of his dad's DNA (all the functions of the test_class)? Does he inherit the test_class's constructor? Can I have another constructor within my second class even though it already has one from inheritance? How many classes can I inherit from? How deep can the relationship go? I.e, if I do class third_test_class(second_test_class) will I inherit the second class's functions and the base constructor of test_class? Finally, what does super() mean in python? When typing it into the prompt, I see that it is of type super, and super.__doc__ doesn't make sense.I've tried looking up tutorials, but all of the ones I've found didn't quite explain all of my questions, so I'm hoping that'll change here.

I might use something very small, like maybe a knife point or something to pry up the key, not off, but up a bit, then see if maybe you can suck something out with a vacuum hose, or better yet, if you still have some compressed air in the can, turn the keyboard over, then blow short bursts into it with the can, hoping to jar whatever it is loose. Try to avoid eating around them, they're not really great with dealing with food particles.

I took a quick look at this and here are my thoughts:1: What else does the game engine provide? I mean, what would persuade me to use it instead of directly using pygame?2: Did you know? Some tutorials do not work!3: What exactly does it provide? There is no clear documentation which lists features available to the engine.

I would if I could, help out, I mean. I'm still learning, so I'm probably not who you want to develop, not at least until I get some more experience under my belt.@4: Code 7 is amazing partially do to the drama stile interaction. If the game was real time, I wouldn't play it for one simple reason:It's not the same.Besides, if you've played code 7 and finished episode 0, you'd know why the game is not real time... Let's just say it wouldn't make sense as the story currently stands.

Would like to know this as well. I was going to try with reaper but have had no luck, I'm guessing because something is missing for encoders I don't know about. I want to trim a video to make it shorter and add a track of background music... if this is doable in movie maker, then I might just use that instead.
