Viralite learns Soul Ripper, and Dormanoid may as well, though that might just be the gift one. I feel like there's something else which does as well. Actually, Aerial Vision+Soul Ripper is a pretty mean combo; of course, Viralite is dead if it's hit, so it's another failed gimmick, but yeah.And please don't pass out the BTSync key or whatever to that folder with manamon sounds. I guess we can't destroy it now that it exists, but it really...shouldn't exist. Those sounds are not ours to redistribute.

I need to be clear on something.We're not going to turn a blind eye to absolutely everything (pun intended). We're not just going to soft-pedal absolutely everything. We're simply not going to go chasing people without really good cause.Speaking personally, I would still like to see some games with pirated assets clean themselves up, and if I had the means, I would help in this endeavour. I don't, though. As an artist (a writer more than anything), I understand the value of controlling who accesses the stuff I write, and it would probably upset me to find out that someone was using my creations without any credit of any kind. This would be true whether I was indy or not. So all the borrowed sounds and music still leave me with a bad taste; they always have, and they always will. When I hear it elsewhere, the same is true. It's not just CP and it's not just the audiogame community. In any case...no, we can't really justify terrorizing folks over borrowed assets, but we really do want you guys to try and scale that back as much as you can.

Water actually isn't bad. Rain+healing rain/acid rain/catching rain is neat, plus Sonar Ray is good unmissable damage. You can't force someone to be weak to water or anything unless you also use a rock deck with Rock Statue/Power Gem, but yeah. I mean, water isn't anything amazing, but get it set up and it's actually pretty good. A water-dark kraken deck can also work surprisingly well.I've played tons of decks in my time, and I like a lot of them. Music deck, blood deck (still my overall favourite), a colossal crushing (rock+fighting) deck, a neat dicemaster themed deck...I have lots of ideas. I'm just saying that a lot of cards...kind of don't work, or are so niche that you'll never see them.Just to put this whole Ancient Time/Rap Ray thing into perspective.Ancient Time requires only that you have Ancient Ruin active; it's like rock level 14, and will confuse you based on which turn it is. i.e., if it's turn 14, you have confusion level 14. This means you can hit yourself for like 80 damage. Not only that, but Rap Ray does some damage based on your confusion level; this combo is so strong that I've never even managed to use Rap Ray in a council fight; Ancient Time is enough on its own. that's how ugly that is. And with Healing Dice/bug's instant recovery moves/various other healing tricks/low-level symbol cards, there just isn't any stopping it, especially if you toss in a few Hypnosis for fun to stall out the turn counter.I also have a blitz deck I use for quest mode that mostly does flying and fighting damage, and it wrecks at low HP because that's all it's really meant to do. I've got a couple fire and normal attacks splashed in there as well. But I'm telling you, in higher HP fights, such a deck looks silly. And in lower HP fights, the decks that need insane setup just die on the vine.I'm totally fine with not every card being awesome. I'm just not so fine with literally dozens of cards feeling lackluster.

so, once you pick your match type and so on, before the character select screen their is a screen that has CPU and player and that is basically the controller settings.Let's use an example. when your on the main menu, you press a/x depending on controller or whatever is your confirm button if your using a keyboard, press that 3 times and that will take you to the controler select screen. you go down once on controler 1 and up once on controller 2 I think? if that doesn't work, try going down once on both controllers or alternatively, you can go up on controler 1 and down on controler 2. How you know if it worked is if you can select only 1 character on controler one.Hope that helps. That controler menu is basically after you have selected each match type. Although using OCR is a good idea because some matches have different things you can change like if they have managers or not.Hope that helps. If it doesn't, I can make a guide for it which I can put in the next part.

I agree about the ancient time card, it just makes no sense. About the rest, I think the game just keeps evolving. It happens in any tcg game, new cards and playstyles apear and some of the old ones gets ovsolete. Right now the most played battles are hig hp. I don't like it, but it is what most people like I guess. And about valance... bug needs some more love.What happens with a lot of the cards is that theyr concept is good, but at the end they are not too useful. An example of this are the psichic revelation cards, or the elf and dark helf postures, whitch I think need an update, BTW. The axes also need some support. duarf is hig level and there is no shields in any of the axe types.

Wow! I sat down for a good few hours with this and I gotta say I felt like a kid who had a whole arcade to myself as a taste of the first game got me excited to check out what else was in this collection. Really, I was torn between continuing to play and moving on, but I wanted to get around to everything before posting here, so move on it was. Nevertheless, I got a good taste of each game, and here are my impressions of each in the order I played them.I agree with everyone here so far regarding classic space invaders. You have taken a saturated formula, and made it unique. A few observations though: In the original arcade by taito, you couldn't fire another shot until your shot completed a course or hit a target. The original also had shields destructible by both parties that you could use as a temporary refuge. One thing that wasn't clear to me was the losing conditions. How many aliens have to make it to earth until the game is over? Over all though, this was a fun experience, and I'll definitely come back to try for a better score.I probably spent a little more time right here in cavern quest. It's not quite gauntlet, but I like it! There's a lot of combat moves, probably one too many retreat commands, and the puzzle elements keep things interesting. Combat is definitely interesting though since button mashing could get you into a whole lot of trouble, so one has to be patient, enter in commands carefully and mis things up while remembering to avoid immunities. Bery cool game!Air lifter is also a very nice game that reminds me of something I might have played on the atari 2600, and thanks to the audio cues, I was finally able to enjoy it to the fullest at last, and enjoy it I most certainly did.Lastly, there was a discussion some months ago about how an accessible racer should play, and I think that motor circuit executes the formula well. I could almost feel the wind in my hair, the bouncing bike beneath me but no collision sound lol. Overall, this is how an authentic 2-d racer would feel, and I like it! A campaign mode, unlockable tracks, upgradeable bikes with their own stats and other rivals to race against would extend the replay value of this one exponentially, but as it is, this one serves as an excellent taste of what's possible. Btw, running at full speed on the first track from start to finish with no crashes, my best time was 1 minutes 29.45 seconds. As a whole, I didn't mind the navi keys being on the left, since that's the way they are on a traditional controller anyway, and I was console gaming long before I had me a pc. A very nice collection of quality games over all, and I look forward to seeing what else you have planned. Lots of thanks for the awesome contribution to audiogames!

Thre's a lot of stuff that still isn't being explored and that you can do, so just keep that in mind. I of all things have a fly-crush deck that relies on a card that gets stronger for every wind card you put in your discard or have used in the fight, including itself. I've never seen anyone use it but I've done it and it can be freaking scary. Use a few bounce and frenetic flight cards to buy time, and then you start spamming wind cards. If you want to be even scarier add an areomancer pose in there and in no time you'll be doing crazy damage. This is also good for those who use fighting and can really put a damper on bug decks because of typing.Also, I'm not too worried about weird types and decks not working well at certain hp values. That's sort of the point. Several real-world tcgs tend to have some builds work for long-play and some for short. If you are having trouble with hp battles of different levels, either design decks for different hp values, which is a perfectly reasonable thing for someone to do, or when you are in charge of a game, set the hp values to something reasonable. As for some of the strong new cards, You complain they are too powerful for low-hp battles. What you need to do is use a blitz deck, that is a deck that takes advantage of low-hp conditions and is meant for speed rather than power and you probably can find a way past those nasty cards, or alternatively, get appropriate parries to deal with it. I tend to use feather shield and a couple others pretty often in my flying deck and they've saved my ass more than once. That said, I haven't had a huge experience with the cards you are talking about directly but I have a lot of tcg experience in general. There indeed might need to be some rebalancing as you suggest, as I've heard water type sort of sucks, but I don't think you are fully exploring the options open to you or are fully considering the options or that different styles are by necessity required for different hp values. I don't play online too much but it is something I've noticed when I have. Try looking into the wind deck I told you about. Even though it has no healing cards at all, I've used it and plowed through battle quest and even take out a lot of flying-resistant and things that attack flying well in the arenas. As I don't have a huge collection of wind cards, you probably can create something even better than I have.

Howdy, bumping up an old topic...I have two spoilerheavy questions about alternative magic:1. Behind the door you open with the four elemental shields are two treasure chests. In the first I find a decent weapon, in the second an item translated as "black vial". It also plays the "you found something rare" music when aquiring that vial but I don't find it anywhere in my inventory, neither in the normal one nor in my toolbag. Can someone tell me whats up with that exactly?2. Can someone give me a hint how to solve the puzzle in the caves of change? I've tried all 64 combinations for the tree statues I found and none of them opened the door. Do I have to run around the whole cave and see what if anything changes in every constellation? However, it says in the schedule that I have played my first game with a view box score option for a game that isn't available.What's up with that?Also, it's worth noting that when you join, you can select what you want injury management to be set to, while other options we cannot set. I thought Injury Management was global for the whole league.

Custom maps will keep this game going for allot longer, so yeah, I think that's important.Too bad about the central server requirement, since without it and with custom maps this thing could last ages, but I get it.Oh and, any way to fire up and down? doesn't need to be on an angle or anything...

how to make enemies automatically spawn on a map

Hi guys. So I made enemes spawn by putting a line on the bgt script I use for maps. As I said, it only spawns a little gang of enemies, like 5. What can I do to make them spawn untill you exit, and I want them to drop items. Here is the code for the enemies in the map bgt script. for (uint i=0; i<=random(2,30); i++){spawn_enemy(random(25,maxx),0,random(5,25));}That is what I am orking with. Don't know what number to change, or do I need to make a timer. Help would be cool.

Okay I've given these a try, I've spent more time on cavern quest me being more an exploring type, but I'll offer a few initial thoughts, though bare in mind these might change. Also, thanks again for the games, its awesome your still developing. As you gathered New Horizons was a game I absolutely loved and have spent many hours with, hence the mondo guide, so more games from the same developer is most definitely something i'm glad about.First as a general point, you might consider a learn game sounds menu, at least for bleeping indicators and so on, since in some of the games like Motorbike Circuit and Classic space invaders, its easy to mistake one indicator sound for another, EG I first thought the beeping in the centre of the screen in Motorbike circuit was actually a turn indicator not the centre road line. Also, bare in mind I haven't played these with graphics. IN the case of New Horizons the graphics I found less helpful since my level of site and line drawings don't mix, though I do recall they were useful in treasure islands, still that will probably be something I'll try later. Cavern quest: lots of fun exploring, with creepy crawlies. On the one hand I mildly miss having coordinates, on the other hand this might make the maze aspect too easy. Duelling is taking a bit of getting used to, in particular how quickly and when you can use each key combo relative to sapi speech, indeed you seem to need to hold the keys a little longer than in a fast action game, also I do wish there weren't quite as many ways to retreat as I keep end up unintentionally running away . It'll probably take me a while to beat this one I think, and the maze layout is interesting, oh and points for some truly nasty insect sounds, those flies when something dies are down right loathsome! .Airlift: This one is a lot of fun and is giving me defender flashbacks. I also suspect this is one which will increase in challenge as time goes on and as you get further into the game, especially if you can't take out the low flying aircraft or aliens, though as I've yet to finish level one we'll see. Indeed, in general I really like the challenge factor here and the need to calculate, even in smaller titles this is the sort of thing audiogames need. Classic space invaders: yes, we've had lots of space invaders games before, 20 in the db alone, though as Aaron said, this one is unique  from the others to be interesting, and also have a degree of challenge not present in many. I'm still working out the sounds here, in particular the sounds for individual aliens and when its best to fire. Motorbike circuit: I'll admit that racing games are less my thing over all, but again I like the challenge factor, though this one is the game which mimho most needs a bit more of learn game sounds. Heh, I'd be interested in some advice myself.  I've actually gotten fairly lucky in that most clients came to me. I wrote a fairly major Android screen reader back in the day, and that scored me some long-term work which eventually dried up. I then bounced between accessibility testing gigs from a few folks who knew me before landing a long-term web development contract that began as accessibility testing. Now I'm in what looks to be another long-term full-stack position from another client who came to me, but I think I'm going to collect testimonials, slap up a simple static website, and see what comes of that. I'd like to start being more proactive rather than just taking whatever comes my way. Then again, part of me wants to use that time to make a go at commercial audio game development while I have paying work and don't need the extra income.Hmm, maybe I'll start another thread.

Couple of quick notes:Oversight: I forgot one item that we have completed in the update that was requested.  The select planets menu during start up, now shows the planet type next to the name of the planet to make selecting specific types of planets easier.Sorry about that, a lot of ground to cover, and I just blanked.Story/achievement discussion:  We're discussing doing something similar to what Dark suggested in post 110 as a stopgap.  It's not the way I'd like to do it, and I don't think it fully satisfies those who would rather have a large campaign, but that is doable with the current infrastructure.  We're also discussing achievements and possible unlocks from those.  These if they happen will be very modest things.  This last is still in discussion stage, it might still not happen, but it is being seriously considered.  However, due to the infrastructure things I discussed in 125, any of this will be small scale and probably half measures.  Take care,Jeremy

Thanks for the recommendation there, that's the first I've heard of that particular ad blocker. If this truly does work in apps, I'm definitely going to buy it. I used to play Rock On all the time when I first bought my phone, but the thing that stopped me were the constant ads, many of which were inaccessible to get rid of using Voiceover. I used Opera VPN for awhile to take care of that problem, but it, too, stopped working, and I gave up playing the game. There are several other apps which I would use more often if they didn't have ads as well, so i'm really considering trying this.

From the little I've played these games so far, I think they're really unique. They're quite challenging, too. One question I have, though, is why you can't remap the keys to use the arrows. I think a lot of the reason I'm struggling to get anywhere with these games is because I'm so used to using the arrow keys in games, it's really hard to get used to the change. Even changing them to use different letters is proving difficult for me to get a handle on. is there a technical reason why the arrow keys can't be used, or is it deliberate to make the games more challenging?

Back in January I was asked to do anything but a space invaders game, but we all need to walk before we can run.I'm really glad it's gained a positive comment, thank you!I've discovered that writing a good audio game requires the same level of sophistication as a graphical one, because the programmer has to create the same type of virtual model or simulation to achieve a similar level of experience for the player.

Hi,I've only really gotten into playing Tactical Battle a few weeks or so ago, after having only given it a very brief try in the past and not really giving it enough time to properly appreciate.After playing most of the handful of sample maps, to aquaint myself with how it works, being the Star Wars fan that I am, I next decided to try out the Clone Wars map pack which is available via the in-game "get more maps" option.I played through all the maps contained in that pack, and, when I was reading over the manual for it, the creator mentioned another Star Wars map pack by a different creator, which was made previously. It's called the Star Wars: A New Hope map pack, and it was highly recommended.I have looked everywhere I can think of to try to find it, but have had no luck. It's unfortunately not included via the list of maps to download in the game.If anybody can help me get my virtual hands on it, it would be very much appreciated.And I don't know if you'd enjoy playing the Clone Wars maps as much as I did, Dark, but I certainly recommend giving them a try. The first map is a space battle, but it only includes a small amount of units to control, and so isn't too overfacing. I personally think the two space-based maps are the weaker ones, but that's merely my opinion. The others play very differently, probably a lot to do with the fact there is fixed terrain - walls, doors etc - and just the varied settings of them, whereas the space maps were... well, just in space. I really enjoyed them, though, as I say, and please, if anybody can help with me getting the A New Hope maps it'd be great.

@9, well that was quite uncalled for. Even after i read the, as you put it, fucking help file, i had questions. A lot of the questions he asked here were not talked about in the bgt manual. Even though some were, I still tried to answer the questions to the best of my ability. And if i get a warning for this, i'm sorry but it needs to be said. Stop bogging down other developers just because not everyone can just read a fucking file once like you and fucking own at what ever the task is. Not everyone works that way. Yes we can make that, but with the sheer number of objects, block types, etc, it would be close to impossible to memorize those sounds, none the less make them. And also, minecraft has an endless world option, while yes if someone made that, they could just leave that out, still. It would be even more difacult to make survival mode, building is just part of minecraft. So we may have something that is close in relation and consepts, but even with microsoft adding a screenreader, we can't play it. There aren't enough audio ques. My xbox came with a free copy of minecraft, and trust me i tried to play that.

I am absolutely loving this version of Space Invaders, finally, someone's actually created a version that uses gameplay similar to the original. You are actually blasting swarms of ships, and not just centering individual ships.If people think this is just another space invadedr style audiogame, I urge you to try this. I think you will find it quite a different experience, and also it's challenging. I've gotten to level 7 or so.

All we have to do is add loop sounds to objects so we could find it and add co ordinates so we could know  where we put our blocks. even if we couldnt make a game that's exactly like Minecraft, we could at least make a primitave version of it and it would be better than all those clones of FPS games. Elven gear is not related to the backer stuff. The backer stuff is gear with specific names. There's a bow, a sword, a ring and I think a couple of different pieces of armour. I misremember their names off the top of my head.

As for microsoft skype, found on the ms store, i find the 1 from skype.com works better and the one i linked above works with tab and shift tab. It work great. HTH
