Ok 3098I think I know where you are stuck.You are having issues with the earth quake 30 or so second room. So you have to immediately start by running south until you reach that cannon. The general direction is west. So I think this first cannon shoots you south, I could be wrong. Then you get pushed west, then west again I think. Something like that. Then you run north a bit. I remember that part of it.

Hey all,I've been curious about this for a while, but hadn't gotten around to asking. Whenever someone posts something, after the person's name and before their main post, there is a lable. Mine, for example, is, galaxy stranger, but i've seen others, such as Troopanum trooper, kingdom crafter just to mention a few i've seen. Do these mean something?

I think a way to think of it might be something like: how long should the player be able to walk without hearing anything but their footsteps and watermarked ambience? It seems like 0.25-0.35s is a fairly standard time for footsteps, given the "run don't walk" trope. I kinda feel like going more than 10-16 steps without anything else changing is probably pushing it. So 2-5 seconds of nothingness, I guess?However, I'm thinking about the vast empty spaces in games like The Gate, Bokurano Daibouken 2, and certain areas in Swamp (north of the Kai Mart, and to a much lesser extent, the quieter stretches of longer roads). Swamp in particular would be cumbersome to make more audibly dense, if we need no more than 16 tiles of silence between ambs (and the area I mentioned did get this treatment eventually). There needs to be a point where the layout of the map accounts for the variation.The catch is that there needs to be some variation. It doesn't have to be a new beacon every 5s. It could be a change in terrain, or a turn in the path, or maybe an empty chest or a log or something. Furthermore, just so to be a bit clearer, I'm talking about the time between hearing new things. If your landmark can be heard from 20 units away, it becomes reasonable to put the next one around 50 units away, since the silent gap is only 10 units.But really, it depends on the nature of the map, and how the player experiences it.For example: are there things like enemies or other NPCs running around? Do you have a lengthy path that the player needs to travel repeatedly? Basically, how likely is the player to get bored between points of interest? While that will vary between individuals, I'd probably say that a good rule of thumb is that, if the player can slow down, it doesn't matter, but if they can't speed up, 10s between points of interest is probably close to the maximum before low attention span players start to get bored.

not yet, but I will. Once it becomes more interesting. I showed some beatstar stuff yesterday but choice of fail wasn't as interesting as  I thought it would be, given that the story does not change so much if you do everything wrong. It follows the same pattern, only changing a few things, so purposely doing everything wrong isn't as fun as it could have been.We're gonna do crazy party online streams and battles and such next time and play a few rare games, please subscribe to my group or follow me on twitter or look here for the next stream times.

Meh, scheduled or at least reasonably consistent community updates are really important IMO.  Even if there is nothing new really, it's just good to know the project is still around, and it takes very little effort on a dev's part for quite a bit of reward.I don't mind waiting, that's not the issue, I've just seen too many games fade quietly into nothing to not be worried.  And honestly, if I were on the dev team, I would consider that the more people are worrying (within reason) about the status of my project, the better job I've done at not only making something people want to play, but also successfully building interest with my community outreach.

When you say it doesn't work, what specifically is happening?The methods you gave seem as though they should work[1], with some caveats. First, I'm not sure that keyReleased would fire during a Thread.sleep. Second, what causes the action to repeat while the key is down? Are you relying on it constantly firing, or are you using a timer that repeats the walking bit, but with  if(activate) instead?[1] If you're using Thread.sleep, it should be while nothing at all should be happening during the sleep time. For an example where nothing happens without user input, it's not too bad, but when you try something that is not turn-based, it will be a problem. So yes, it's much better to use timers, even though that means more work just to get walking working.

3094I am not sure where you are. If you passed the earthquake room, then I believe you must go into another picture.3096So your essential goal is to get that statue onto that switch. But first you must remove the 3 rocks on top of the statue somewhere they won't be in the way. I start by moving the top boulders right, then up, and all the way left. Then, move the statue upwards.

@Brad, I suspect the problem your having is that your attempting to play rhythm rage like beatstar, IE you hear the sound kew first and then respond. That's not how rhythm rage works, in rhythm  you need to respond as much to the beat as the sound. so for the first stage, you hear low, low, low, high, low, low, low, high. You need to press enter not after! the high pitched beep but at the same, time, indeed if your doing it right your beep for pressing enter and the high pitched beep should be almost simultaneous. If your pressing immediately after the third low beep you will lose, your press literally needs to be on the high beep. if you've ever done any music or dancing, its on the fourth beat of the bar, 1, 2, 3, and then press on 4.Hth. Of course, not all games are for everyone, I happen to be terrible at racing games myself, and obviously games are intended to be fun and not torment.

You have to go forward on the left conveyer belt and hit it at the right time the proper note goes passed, then go right, ride the conveyerbelt going in the opposite direction, and circle around and around again until you've hit the notes in the right order.

Guys, I have a question. I've also asked Aaron Baker by email, but just in case any of you know this, I'll put it here too. I bought Manamon 2 and let someone use my registration since we live together and at the time, I thought it would work so we could still battle each other and trade. Needless to say it didn't, so I got the money to buy them their own key. Is there a way for that person to remove my key from their game and put their own without having to uninstall it and restart the whole game? If anyone could help with this, I would really appreciate it.

Hello,So I have to say this. With the latest change to switching, battle mechanics after a manamon death are broken. Now when an opponent kills your manamon, and you send out a new one because of that, they get one more free hit at it. While using up a turn for regular manual switching makes sense, the current system does not, and dramatically alters game balance.  Replacing a dead manamon is not regular switching and should not be treated as such.I also think I discovered a bug. When I was fighting the glimmeroto on the princess's team in the rematch, I sent out my  jagzium, and it hit it with necro jab. But when I checked the health, it had 0% health yet still was alive. I assume htis isn't intentional?

This reminds me of the mid 2000s when quite a lot of people in the blind community started up their own internet radio station.Rather than join an existing one they did their own thing.In the end the only people listening were their friends.I don't know what killed off the whole internet radio thing, maybe it was winamp when they decided to call it quits, or maybe those people eventually matured and moved on.I see the same thing happening with all these forums, most, if not all will eventually disappear.

I recently went on a learning spree learning about client side programming and also exploring the mindcraft API. I have an issue with the first level of Rhythm rage.

Hi.I decided to download rhythm rage today and the first level is giving me issues.It's meant to be, 1, 2, 3, enter when the beep plays but I do that and fale.I managed to get a couple of hits but I can't do it again, If this is how the game is meant to be, I think we deserve a little more time.Also, I know this would probably make the game a lot easier but using the arrows enter and space would be nice.

You're meant to keep walking around that area. You can't hear any footstep sounds but ultimately you're meant to do a circuit of the room you're in to trigger different cutscenes.

It would make the game feel more immersive. Also, it would give you a free hand, so to speak. For example, you could be typing in the chat and you could ask Alexa to start the orbit cleaning process or to request takeoff clearance from a planet. You could then go down into your ships cargo hold and install an expansion and at the same time you could ask Alexa to land on another planet. You could also be re-loading your weapon during ship combat and you can ask Alexa to set red alert statice.

Nice game, simple to understand, and quite adictive, I'm having some trouble though, when connecting with firefox, I'm facing the NA thing issue Dark mentioned before, and when i try chrome, the game returns some errors. Update: Morpheus has emphatically stated that 3.12 does not apply to us for two reason:1.  We're not using in game currency to sell or otherwise generate credits.2.  NO bot will be used; all is being done manually.He does agree however, and was first to suggest on gosip that we should get in contact with Dentin if at all possible for his support, as it would be less likely to be seen as a scam.  This, we are still trying to do at present, since, as stated above, we're willing to be held accountable at any reasonable cost.

Understood, and thank you for the concern.  For what it's worth we will not be using a bot of any kind; everything will be done manually.  I"m not sure if that'll make a difference, so as I said previously we have in fact tried getting ahold of Dentin, though I dare say he might be busy with holiday related stuff, so we're patiently waiting.

no, hold on. I wasn’t suggesting that the entire game be played by using voice commands, I was only suggesting that certain actions in space ships for example, going to different planets or sectors could be controlled by voice. Or maybe the ship computer announcements can be rooted Through Alexa or Google. I don’t know if this would even work.

@11 Fair enough. As far as things go, I see a forum as a low risk chance to practice some useful skills, so 12/immature or not, it is a low risk way to fail and learn from those failures, I suppose. That being said, if you are satisfied with the one forum, then it is good to stick with it. I have my issues with some things around here to be sure. Definitely some things I would have done differently, but I'm well enough with lerking about and posting when I need something, or find a topic to be interesting that I will probably stick around for the time so long as the mod team is happy to leave me around. LOL!!!

Does Amthysto, Limewurm's transformation, transform naturally, or do you need to trade with someone to do so? If that is the case, is there a level I should wait to transform him to his final form, or do it right away at level 39 when he transformed to Amthysto for me?
