Some of them are very extensive with Pokemon from gen 1 up to 8 with 24 gyms etc. They also play like the GBA versions of the game where you move tile by tile. Always wished someone would try to use the Ruby scripting language used by RPGMaker XP to try and make them accessible. A lot of kids here are young, so maybe they don't have the necessary experience to do the job search you suggest. For that reason, they turn to what's available to them. Therefore, it would be beneficial to all parties if we tried to be as helpful as possible to those that seek it. One could argue that such a task is the responsibility of an organizer of a job fair, but job fairs are not a luxury everyone can afford to attend.I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and provide a chance wherever possible for them to choose whatever options are available to them based on whatever information I can find. I think you would agree though that the decission is ultimately up to them. I just feel like justice isn't being done if a real effort isn't being made to show them alternatives. I am not saying to drag the smokers to rehab to get them to quit smoking. That would be like banning the discussion of this subject and the link to these free money pages. What I am saying is to point people in the right direction. I will grant that valid points were made in regards to some job requirements, and to that end I would propose pointing people to jobs that are not so demanding. We know that a good number of people posting in these threads have a decent command of the english language. Most of them have limited or no vision. Many possess programming knowledhe. What can they do that falls within these boundaries?I will say for myself that I am willing to earn my keep. That is part of the reason why I am making these inquiries, not just for myself, but for everyone here. I will definitely look into the links provided in the other topic. In a way, my posts have yielded results, so that makes me happy. Thank you @everyone who posted on the online jobs for the blind thread. For many visual artists they can learn innately because visual material isn't an abstract concept, though some benefit more from theory study than others in practice. There are an enormous number of styles and ways to create art however, some more formulaic or programmatic than others, like OpenSCAD for modeling, or Povray3D for raytracing. In the end its just arranging 2D arrays of data into particular patterns by arbitrary standards. When I say "theory", I mean the application of particular techniques and methods in a structured deterministic way, much like programming. Given that visual art may be an abstract concept for non-visual users, working on such a practical, or theoretical side first can help conceptually build a foundation towards more practical experience.When it comes to my own pixel art, I tend to work methodically and geometrically using patterns with existing art techniques, or at times with programatically generated procedural art. Now, as far as surveys are concerned, there are going to be some accessibility issues somewhere along the line, but I've had no problems for the most part. Whether it would be legal or not to do so, if the person is no longer distributing it then that's not the problem of the one who seeks to obtain the product. The developer, or whomever the person selling it happens to be, needs to plan ahead for eventualities like that. Of course, you do have to watch with some cracked version of programs as there is the possibility you could get a virus in your system like I did when trying to get something that was cracked. If it is available to purchase, then I would say support the developer for sure. However, if not, and there's no other way to get it other than via a cracked version, then there is no morally gray area involved as the question of legality is a moot point at that time. Artists typically use theory to refine existing techniques, which they can readily gain through practice. But for them, working with visual material isn't an abstract concept. If you sat a sighted person down and told them to paint a colored image blindfolded, they would have to rely much more heavily on technique to determine not just what colors their working with and where, but in what mixtures and techniques to get the desired result.Put another way, sighted artists et al may not talk about theory, because they don't have to. This doesn't mean that theory wouldn't be of increased value to non-sighted artists for approaches and techniques. A similar concept would be soldering for the blind, which is something many schools conceptually have a hard time thinking is even possible, let alone safe, yet which [guides] are written tat help conceptualize that its not only possible, but how its done.But again, theory is just a starting point. I use iTunes for most of my podcasts, so downloading all episodes within a feed is as easy as choosing download from the list.I have it set to the classic list view, which feels like a treeview and I can open up each podcast when I want to download individual episodes.I always keep the treeview closed because some podcast feeds can have quite a lot of episodes, so it just makes it easier to find what I'm looking for.The easiest way to download the lot is to keep the treeview closed, find the podcast you want all episodes for and hit download on the closed level.If anyone else can explain it better feel free, because I'm not sure if I can explain it better.Oh and as pointed out in a previous post, you can only download what's available in the feed.Some feeds don't have every single episode available, while others do, audio dramas, for the most part, do have their episodes all available in the feed. I just read thatmy own province is going to have zero chance of anything changing in the next month, and only slight chances into may and june. And at the oment,with the lack of changes these measures are showing in the cases reported, I'm having a very hard time seeing them as affective, whatever the politician's offices may be trying to tell us. More than for myself, I'm worried for all the international students I work with who are litterally stuck here with nowhere to go, and are here on limitted amounts of time, some on orking visas which are now useless because they can't work while still needing money to at least survive. And I'm still seeing other cuntries, namely Asian countries surprisingly, doing things that are preventing the spread while still managing to let people live with some degree of normal. Re: Environment Suite is back I'm sorry guys, the first version of the builder isn't going to be very intteractive, but it should allow for easier building at least somewhat. For now it doesn't manage your sounds or anything like that, and I can't guarantee it ever will. But it at least will guide you in creating, which is what I feel a builder should do. When this is released, don't get your hopes like really, really high, at least at first. The whole builder thing is just a test for now. Gorrilla official Hey, sorry if this is in the rong room, but I was hoping if someone could make this topic sticky so that I could edit it when possyble. But as you all know, this is audiogames.net, a central hub of and for audiogames. Not too long ago, a cupple sentries maybe, there was this huge monster? OK juan, serious! So audio description became a thing, and I think it's time to put a little into the mix, and can we give audio narated gameplays a little more love huh? from a grate person, and he plays games no less, and would love to share them with us! He's Big G, or Gorrilla! His way he describes, the amount of words he uses to not only depict viliges and towns, citys and people, places, using impressions to word dialogs between characters and even using his emotions to describe characters words facial expressions, and lastly objects, using echos and other sounds to show situation, what main character is/was thinking, and just all round being cool. And this is just some of the things he describes like designs, and other things. I want to edit this more but for now though, sorry again for rong room, and the mods can move it into a room that best fits it.
