I mentioned the m1 specificly because Carson cunningham is working on a soundfont bsed on the synths used in a certain tv show that aired on 4/6/1992, and one of the composers used an m1 (and also emulator and proteus 2, that last one is quite prominent in the music). he also used roland r-8 and sc55 in later episodes he worked on. his successor used proteus 1. Re: UOSS Mud Job Combinations I thought the thing with Cyborg was that they could spam the upgraded version of Cosmic rave, which let's you multi-strike single targets for insane amounts of damage. Normally it just strikes out at multiple mobs without multi-hitting, but the alteration when buffed let's you hit targets multiple times. The only issue is unlocking that skill at job level 30, but considering you're stuck with the class, and it does give a ton of damage options... people tend to always try to unlock it mostly because it also buffs you to high heaven. Also, a friend who doesn't have an account here yet was asking if anyone knew how trainer unlocks work? I was told nothing in that was qinfo, but trying to spam the bestiary off cooldown for hours/days with repeating pages does get annoying. But you have to get a char to level 100 just to unlock the right to use one.Also, they're not, like, over-the-top good. Again, I can attest to this. My mec is job level 19, overall level 59, and Maelstrom (wis aoe water damage) can do some pretty freaky damage. But...uh, that's kind of it. The STR and AGI stuff I've seen so far don't impress me much.Now, I feel they did nerf berserker too hard, but one of the later nerfs to it was because there was an actual bug which made it -stronger than it was before, not weaker.Now, as for job suggestions for STR:Why not soldier-priest? Protect/shell to limit the damage you take, and soldiers are never at full HP so if you gear up properly they can do a megaton of damage.Swordsman isn't terrible, but it's probably not as good or reliable as it used to be. Monk has some of the best single-target attack damage in the game in Bums Rush, but you're going to be a long time getting there. Samurai abilities are fiddly and not very good at low levels, but the class has a lot of utility. My monster is a samurai, and I'm having loads of fun with it.At higher levels, dark knight+priest also works well. Dark Wave is supposedly amazing AoE damage, but it'll chew down your health, so you'll need to heal. Holyknight is more versatile but less damaging. Templeknight is much more vit/will than str, and take it from me (I have a Jlevel 23 templeknight) it's really, really, really slow. Don't Act+Shock! is great. Does huge damage. But if you get swarmed, good luck. And you won't be doing fast kills against multiple mobs. Now that I've seen the sheer speed of AoE, it's tough to justify single target anything, especially as an STR char. Re: UOSS Mud Job Combinations Attuning gives you both empower and strike in an element, so you use them to change the Damage of your big swdtech strikes. A fair bit of swordsman attacks will carry the element you have attuned and I think the only attacks that don't are stunner, slash and empowerer. This also works with attacks in other jobs. Wild swing in knight for example. I'm not entirely sure if the breaks carry elements also and I want to say that stock break does , but can't remember 100 percent. If both your names are on the account it's fine unless your mom gets mad about it and your mom isn't going to take you to court. As much as I strongly suggest students take a route similar to what I've done/am doing (assuming they learn in similar ways), I do recognize there are huge disparities that are not as easily solvable. The hardships we face are systemic and far more difficult to overcome. If it were to take me that much effort to complete even one class, I would have to sit down and really think if A) I'm the kind of person who has the self discipline to do so and B) is it worth doing so?All that to say kudos to you and the others I know who have sat down and put in those long hours writing your work down and grinding to get the job done. I may be Nocturnus... I may be able to get away with a many number of things...I don't know, and I don't care. What I do know is that if I were to create a topic bashing a community or select number of people just because they're pissing me off there'll be opposition and, no matter how sick I am, miserable I am or otherwise unwell I am I have no excuse to behave like a jerkwad to people just because they don't fit my personal little bubble. IN fact, I'd be willing to wager that most everyone would tell me to piss off for awhile until I am feeling better and can deal with the situation more effectively and reasonably? I find it interesting that 18 takes the original post and turns it into a pity party where previously it was just an issue of irritation; feel sorry for me because my games aren't going the way I want them to and all these people are in them and I don't like them being there because my friends are my friends and they are not my friends and why do they have to make my life harder!The point is simple, really: you can rant and rave and complain about the evils people do to you, but until you're willing to meet halfway down the line and expect that what you're doing might be seen as equally evil by the other side, until you're willing to accept that your views just might, might be even worse in some senses, don't expect anyone to either take you seriously or consider your views. They say that what goes around comes around, and attitudes when posting on a forum are just as much an action as any other.To prove my point, I'd just like to go on record by saying that I've been there far too often. When RS-Games Monopoly was first released I took issue with people just randomly joining my tables, particularly if all I wanted to do was play a game with someone else or even just enjoy a simple match against bots and I just didn't get to finish setting up the table before someone else got in on it. The same happened with QC. The only thing that would frustrate me more than people who randomly joined, were people who randomly left in the middle or right before losing, or who took a call and held up the game as a result of it and sometimes just flat out forgot about it.But that's just the way of things when you deal with people! For every public TT server you create you'll find people who lurk for whatever reason best known to themselves and who never say a word and thus make you feel awkward, or people who burst in with super loud audio and don't care, or people with even greater malice who just want to make conversation impossible. The point still stands all the same. When you choose to fight fire with fire, you're gonna get burned. I could have easily swallowed a topic that asked for advice on this subject given that I've obviously been in the same situation, rather than come in here, guns blazing with an entitled mindset. Yes, the question was posed but it was posed with less than a will to understand the other side. It's all me me me talk. Unfortunately I don't qualify for eternian yet, so I probably can't benefit from that advantage. However, that, and a secondary group consideration for templeknight seems like a solid base. Though, for one more route, what tends to work well with soldiers? I know they have their issues somewhat with how they play (though overdrive midigates it a bit), but can't figure out what they would find useful and not interfering with their hp loss= more damage strategy. I wrote a program to convert plain text to various formats, but still was somewhat time consuming. As already said, we're just going to be slower than our sighted peers, even if we use Braille or some fancy programs. At the end of the day, the aim is to get that little piece of paper that says we are competent enough to stick by an unforgiving subject such as Math, Physics, or engineering. I visited a site where they said Transcriptionists can be as young as 13, but they said something about the parent having to enter the agreement. So, I'm guessing my mom has to sign up, but I can do the transcription? As for PayPal, I'm going to set up one for my mother just for this occasion, and so we can do our own independent online shopping. But since we're generally making this for me to transcribe, will it be OK if I use my mom's ID info and what not, but link it to my bank account? Or will that be fraud?I appriciate any of your answers, because I've been looking for a side job so I can make my own money, and not have to burden my mom too much. 250 US is a hell of a lot for someone my age, and in 2 months I should be able to get pretty much any assisstive tech I'd be needing. And worse yet with the corona virus, the store is pretty slow. Re: powerball I have one yeah, the autostart as it happens. My physical therapist has me doing an exercise with it that goes like this. Get it started. Hold it in your hand palm down. Turn your forearm so your thumb is going from pointing to the side and pointing toward the floor, and back again. When you get it to a speed you think you can maintain, make that motion really small. Then hold your arm out in front of you, about shoulder height. Slowly bring it up over your head, then slowly out to the side. Do that at least twice, or until your arm fatigues. Switch hands, and do that with the other hand. Then switch back to the first hand, do it again, then switch to the other hand.Don't overdo it, it doesn't feel like much at first but you'd be surprised how easy it is to go to long, so pay attention unless you want crazy sore forearms the next morning. Physical therapist says that moving the arm around not only works the muscles in the forearm that do the turning motion, but everything from the shoulder on down. Before I was holding it and rotating my wrist, sort of like stirring, she said not to do that. This is one of the exercises I got because my hands and forearms would cramp up, and she eventually figured I probably needed to strengthen them. I don't know if there are other exercises you can do with it, there probably are, but at least you'll have one that's medically approved. Ive been to places where private bathrooms make the public ones look like royal lodgings, where people mock you for not just dropping their pooor excuses for napkins, and the bones of a meal, or the sshells of a fried sunflower seed that you just slobbered all over on the floor, when all you're trying to do is not litter, where it is culturally ok to cough and sneeze without covering up. I am more scared for those areas, but hopefully this is a wakeup call for people all over the world to be more mindful of what they do with their junk.
