Well, I heard a sound like I unlocked something but nothing was displayed in the event window, only my score. I cwrote the command proceed several times but the window seemed to be stuck so I just exited the program hoping for the best. I was running with the_silent, the hardest character imo. I could relatively easily beat the game with the others but silent took me several hard days trying to find a suitable strategy. I guess it just doesn't fit well with my playing stile.

Lucia is built on top of pygame, its abstracting that same event system under the hood. Take a [peek], it might help you figure out how to better integrate what you want to do. Either that or write what you need with pygame.

@3 I can't do that for loop and lucia.process_events. If I put the for loop before process_events, lucia gives an error. If I put it after, pygame doesn't pick up any events. I need lucia because it has some important things in the process loop, but I need pygame so I can check the unicodes. I made a dummy script and I was able to work with pygame just fine, but working with both is proving to be impossible.

@17 and @20, I used   my Book Port Plus on Autogain. I put the ME51s directly inside the nesting box, so as they shifted around, they stepped on the mic and probably a few other things. I would've had to come up with a way to hang it, like they do with stage mics in the auditorium. Anyhow, the kittens are now outside, so I can probably hang the mic inside the cage far enough so they don't hit it or anything.I recorded it at 44.1 kHz, edited it to make sure there weren't any personal conversations going on, and then I exported it as a VBR file.

Right now we should not expect all the mods we need to be there waiting to be collected. There's going to be stuff that, right now, can't be done. That said, with all the stuff modders have made possible, I would imagine if we found the right people we could get a lot more of those mods built and we could do more things.I really wish the official Minecraft site didn't require me to have an XBox Live account, as I can't access the forums without registering and they use my Microsoft account for that, but I've never had an XBox Live account ever and they'll probably want me to make one...

@6You can unset bits with & by anding with a value that has all the bits set to 1 except the bit you want to unset.  Unfortunately, Python makes this trickier by not having fixed-width integers, and I don't remember how to do it without looking up several things and possibly even going so far as to consult the internals of Pyglet.  Someone else may have the answer, however.I wouldn't worry about performance.  Figuring out key dispatch is highly unlikely to be where performance matters, even if it's 100 times slower than it could be.I would look at writing a function that extracts the modifiers you're interested in from every keypress, which returns a set (as in the Python data structure, which you may not have seen yet).  Once you've done that you can easily and cheaply remove capslock from the set.  This will probably be easier than learning about bitflags properly.  Learning about bitflags properly is really useful for programs that eat ram like candy, but that doesn't describe any audiogame I've heard of, and you don't need it.

@18To be honest, I could think of at least 5 treatable mental disorders that might be going on here, because though you're saying it's about accepting your blindness, you're not describing "I can't accept my blindness" symptoms, you're describing really stereotypical stuff that you learn about in the introductory psychology course in college.If this was about not being able to accept your blindness, you could just decide to go do something about not accepting your blindness, and it wouldn't be easy, but you'd probably have been through it by now, you'd only have had to do it once, and you wouldn't be talking about demons in a half-literal fashion and being afraid that therapists are going to do some sort of dark ages judgement thing that somehow involves the police.  You'd be exploring hobbies or asking us about living independently or however to do whatever it is you want to do.  I'm sure blindness was a trigger, mind you, don't get me wrong.  But demons and thoughts about harming others and things like that, that's more.You can find therapists outside the school setting.  The cutbacks haven't realistically gone so far that that's not possible in any first world country.  Psychiatrists are harder, usually with waiting lists of a couple months, but again doable.  In the U.S. health insurance will cover much of it.  I would avoid trying to do this via school or whatever for a different reason, namely that people in those settings don't usually even have medical degrees.  There is a vast, vast difference between someone trained in this stuff, and someone your school happened to hire to talk to troubled students.A diagnosis isn't a judgement, it's a plan.  There's 20 or 30 different kinds of talk therapy, there's 20 or 30 different kinds of medication that work for some people whose worst side effect is "I don't have a sex drive".  The modern disciplines of psychology and psychiatry are science-backed disciplines that have spent the last 40 or 50 years figuring out how to handle this stuff.  It's not lobotomies and a bed with straps because you said you don't like broccoli anymore, not even close.  Usually, it's a pill with zero side effects or some cognitive behavioral therapy, pick either or both, some lifestyle changes, and determination on the part of the patient.  And when I say usually, I mean even for people who say things like "I feel so tired and unhappy that I can't bring myself to put food in my mouth" (true story, I know someone who is that bad off, but not going to bring the details into the public internet).You've also alluded to having possibly not so great relationships with your parents;  if nothing else, finding a therapist--a proper one, not someone from your school or something--will give you a safe place to talk about the things you mightn't want to talk about with them if that's actually the case.  Even for minors, it doesn't leave the office unless you cross really clearly defined lines.  I don't know what those are for minors, but your therapist can and will give you a clear and unambiguous answer to that question.

Ah man, i remember this game. Unfortunately, I did have to resort to a guide half way through. The puzzles and ordering of events just got a bit insane to not cosmically screw up tot he point of reloading an older save farther back. And some puzzle solutions aren't quite obvious, unless you are aware of how certain scientific concepts work. If you want a field test for trying this game out, try the Crusader game made by the same author. The difficulty of the puzzles are about the same, but this one is much shorter. Though should still take a good day or two if you don't know the solutions quickly for every puzzle.that, or you're like me, and want to discover every way to massively fail for the game overs. After beating a game, i tend to do that due to some of the events leading to one's demise.hell, for this game in particular, there's an epic game over only possible if you're aware of another puzzle much later in the game.*** You have made the game unwinnable ***

Hi there,So as the title suggests, this is something I want to do. I have literally thousands of messages I want to get rid of from my inbox in particular, but I don't know how. Apparently there is a "select all" button, but I can't seem to find it.Is there any life-hackerish way I can do this with a screenreader?I have access to both Jaws and NVDA, and both IE and chrome. I vastly prefer basic HTML view for gmail, and have it enabled by default...but if the life hack involves delving into standard view for some reason to find stuff there that doesn't exist in basic HTML mode, I can handle that, I think.So lay it on me. Is there any way to do this, or am I just going to have to tab through thousands of messages, hand-selecting them, then hitting delete?

I wouldn't worry about it. Windows does lots of stuff in the background, especially to newly downloaded exes.That said, you should learn about virtualenvs and use them instead where possible.  Upgrading packages in the global environment is known to break things due to dependency conflicts, and upgrading *all* packages is the 99% of the time it's fine but 1% of the time it's a nuke button that none of us ever press because reinstalling everything isn't super fun.  I do all my Python dev inside virtualenvs managed by anaconda on Windows for this reason--if it goes wrong it'll only take out one project, and if you're using requirements.txt you can wipe it out and reinstall everything in 2 or 3 commands.

And if their footsteps sound like anything it's webbed feet, not undead/ghoulish things!Mind you, the Club (crab?) monsters sound like some kind of hoofed animal when they're walking and their cries are like some form of water bird, so maybe sounds aren't everything.

Kind of useless after you unlock stage 18's shop, sinss you can sell the robot legs for the same price, and man obtaining those is super dupper easy on stage 17-2. Yoyo, kenju, water plain launcher, shuriken can really get the job done.

I've been trying to gather each and every secret I can find in the game, as well as trying to prove the viability of secret unlocking methods in the game that players told me. Unfortunately though, I didn't have much chance to get to it. But I still have the walkthrough file and can edit there. Anyone have anything to recommend?Also, some secrets, if not so game-breaking, i put them in the main walkthrough instead of the secrets section. Hope that helps.

I've tried Thunderbird, but it makes my laptop really slow when fetching mail. I tried Windows 10's mail app, but when I set it to conversation view, which I prefer, any conversation I move to with arrow keys is automatically opened, whether I want to read it or not. This is annoying and I find it inexcusable for Microsoft to not have fixed this in the years Mail has been out on Windows 10.

Yep, runs up to Nintendo DS games, but no PSP or Ps1 yet, mainly just Nintendo and Sega stuff, for now. And you can even play games using your hardware keyboard!

I didn't have trouble getting around the client. I also don't consider teleporting to an object or looking at its properties knowing where you are. It takes more than text and some sounds here and there to know where you are. It sounds like your standards are much lower than mine, which is fine. If I'm going to exist in a world like this, I will need to feel more liberated than I do in real life, not less, and I don't feel like that in SL. I can't agree with your posts.

I tried updating all of my packages with pip-review --auto. I got this error, this was even after running cmd as admin.ERROR: Could not install packages due to an EnvironmentError: [WinError 5] Access is denied: 'C:\\Users\\nagy\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\pip-uninstall-fa14jl8l\\pip-review.exe'Consider using the `--user` option or check the permissions.Edit: A few minutes later it somehow fixed itself, but I would still like to know how to fix this in the future.

I would strongly encourage you to come and give it a chance. Second Life is a user built world and it becomes more accessible every day. You are absolutely 100% helpless on public mainstream sims!As for driving a car, OK sure, when the client gets fixed you will be technically able to, but then what. Where are you going to drive it? How are you going to not crash unless you take someone with you? Maybe someone made an area where it's an open track, but some people drive across sims to get places. We won't be able to do that.Do you guys see the running motif, and why I'm so vehement about warning you all about this? By all means, if you want to try it and see what's up, go ahead and do so. It will take you a while to be able to really feel like you know the area and what's going on with the client. I also work for a group doing marketing work for them and do other jobs. It has desicate beam, attack concerto, wild bibration and psichedelic spell by the special side, and  clobber and dead trash by phisical.Special is better or even mixed I guess, both stats are almost the same, it has good magical defense, is slow (not as slow as pandourbit or boulanteral, but slow), has good healt and regular phisical defense.It may have 2 abilities, benediction or soul join; benediction raises a stage in strenght if it defeats an enemy and soul join heals it a bit if it defeats an enemy.

ok one more question. How the hell are they going to help me accept blindness? They are sighted. And going to a counselor that specializes in being blind first of all feels extremely awkward especially because I have been blind for over 10 years, and second, there aren't that many around anymore. You see, governments and school districts are cutting corners real tight for people with visual impairments, I don't know about other disabilities, but probably for them too. Although I think this is everywhere but you understand. Let's say I have a counselor who is helping slay my demons. That's great, but what about my blindness? I'm being real honest, I fucking hate it. I want my sight back, but since I was born with glaucoma, well I can't. And I had a virus in one eye, I have had some stuff done so I'm sure even if I could get it back now it is impossible. This is half rant, half question. What counselor can help me accept my blindness, yes I know truly only I can make that decision. But for aid.

to make a model like this work, you need to assure that the main game itself without the microtransaction is top notch. You need to make the person feel that they want to donate to your project, not that they have to. That balance is very hard to maintain, as y ou need to make sure the game isn't painful without the donation items, while still providing a decent enough boost for the player who does support your game with purchased content. Unfortunately,, it seems company goes with the need to purchase model, and still charge you full price for a game so you can go and suffer the artifically grindy systems to break them down to pay. but as a niche gaming platform, we do not have any good will or popular IPs to pull this stunt off.Another way to make microtransactions work is to make the premium currency gettable through in game means. However, not through the gold grind approach, as the market tends to inflate prices and become difficult for anyone to maintain. One model I see work was Warframe's model. If you put some time to grind out all the components for something, you can put up crafted gear (which nearly everything in the game had to be crafted) for sale on the market for their premium currency. So instead of grinding stuff yourself, you can purchase crafted gear off the market and someone gets the currency themselves. As well, there were a lot of options that spent the currency on things that could not be sold, assuring that the economy of the game still required people to donate money, but not everyone had to do this. Though, i think one needs a huge player population in order to pull this off as well.

The coins are not hidden, however they are soft when you hear them, so listen for them as you are walking around. You will know then when you find them, but you kinda have to be right at them to hear them. I think if there were to be an update, it might be nice to increase the volume of the coin sound just a bit for this reason.

Can confirm that it gets wild vibration. Actually, for all of itts special moves it's set up more like a physical attacker, with strength  higher than it's special attack. Perhaps it's just the one I have. Fairly average stats though.

I'm thoroughly confused now. What devices actually run Android as opposed to a truly custom OS? I know Amazon Fire OS is using a modified version of Android, because I've used a Fire TV Stick. I was able to enable ADB Debugging and apps from unknown sources in order to install APK files from my computer.Honestly, I recommend getting a Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, or any of the standalone TVs with Fire OS built-in. I don't understand the craze over full smart TVs when you can get a streaming dongle that's cheaper and much easier to replace in the future. Just pair it with a regular TV. You can use your TV for years and years without worrying that it will become obsolete due to lack of software support.

@12 And this highlights how the changing of the times makes certain laws, amendments, whatever, necessary to be updated.I'm not saying YT shouldn't kick dumbasses off of their platform, but they seem to love keeping on the big jackasses that make them money, and squash little guys for doing much less severe things than their bigger and more profitable counterparts. Its not about whether they should or shouldn't be able to kick people off as much as who and why they kick people off.Yeah yeah, I know, move to another platform, blah blah. But google whether intentionally or not, has a complete monopoly on the video sharing market. You can't beat it. They have the money in the bank to support that 72 hours of video uploaded a minute to YT, and how else are little guys supposed to get their foot in when you don't have to pay to upload as much shit as you want on YouTubeAnd YT is supposed to be about that user generated content, so anything short of death threats and slander shouldn't be punished or given a reason to have someone get banned, blocked from making comments, etc. Also it would be literally impossible to have a team that sifts through all the reported comments, videos, etc, so they have a bot do it, based on trigger words. That has been just dandy, oh wait it isn't. The problem is, there are corporations in Google's pockets that pay money for their ads to be hosted on their website and app. And a lot of these advertisers believe that if their video shows up before something that may be undesirable for whatever reason, that means they're associating themselves with it, which Google and the lady in charge of YouTube does fuck all to make any better, BTW.YT's just too big, too commercialized now. The good old days are long, long gone.Sorry if I come off confrontational, this is something I'm passionate about.

Hi, so I finally came up with a way of handling key input that I like that works with my state machine. One thing that was mentioned before about pyglet is that capslock is a modifier key when it is turned on, which means that all of my other key board commands don't work while capslock is on. It is not a big thing, but it does bother me. Any suggestions for handling this? I would like it to ignore the capslock key, or at least simulate ignoring the capslock key. It is kind of an irritating problem because the modifiers are calculated in a bitwise fashion, and I am not very familiar with bitwise operators.The way I see it is I have two options, either add capslock to the modifiers for the keys I am expecting if the first comparison fails, or strip out the capslock modifier out of the modifiers for the keys that were just pressed if capslock is present. The first way looks the easiest, although, my comparison looks something like this:    def on_key_press(self, symbol, modifiers) -> bool:        ...            pressed_key: Key = Key(symbol, modifiers)            if pressed_key in self.registered_key_presses:        ...where Key is just a custom object I created for storing symbols and modifiers. It allowed me to override the equals operator to make comparisons easier, and for storing keys in a dictionary. Basically the way this class works is that if you want key input, create a KeyHandler object, calladd_key_press(symbol: int, modifiers: List[int], callback: Callable, *args, **kwargs)then add the key handler to the pyglet event stack using window.push_handlers(...)Anyways, so I have a dictionary of registered Key objects and Callbacks that the user provided. So all I have to do is create a new Key object with the provided symbol and modifiers and check if it is in the dictionary of registered keys using the in operator. Given this, with out losing efficiency, I am not sure how to add capslock to the expected key modifiers without adding it to all of the keys.I suppose that is an option as well, just add capslock as a modifier for all keys by default that are registered and if I compare the pressed keys to the expected keys, I can run to comparisons one without capslock and one with capslock added to the pressed keys. Hum... not sure if I like that option though.The second option I see is removing the capslock modifier from the modifiers it it is present. I could use the "&" bitwise operator to see if it is in the modifiers, although I have no idea how to remove a modifier with bitwise operations. I did some google searches, and if what I am reading is correct, you can't really without sacrificing efficiency, but I am not sure.Any suggestions?
