Using torrent clients with NVDA.

Hi all.Currently I'm using QBitTorrent. I'm using it because it works and somebody said it was accessible. I think they lied. It's accessible with a web interface, but I'd like something that's actually accessible. So, a couple of questions.1. Anybody know how to get to the actual torrents you've got downloading or seeding or whatever in QBT and manipulate them? Suppose for instance that I want to delete one of them? I don't see a way to do this and I've poked around with object navigation. But I could just be missing something.2. If not, anybody know a torrent client where this is possible? Multiple recommendations would be good since some sites restrict clients, e.g. UTorrent or whatever it is used to be pretty popular, but nowadays from what I can tell it gets restricted a lot because it has, or had anyway, security issues.I'd be fine with using QBT if you can, it seems to be decent enough, just not particularly accessible, e.g. I can't even find a way to switch option groups so I can change the save directory. I know I've tried a couple of other clients, can't remember which unfortunately as it was quite a while ago, and they didn't seem particularly accessible either. I know one of them would let you move through the list of torrents, but it wouldn't actually read you the torrent name or any of the info associated with it. So if you have a lot, you had to guess or count. I'd like something that just works, if it's out there. BTW it should be obvious since I mentioned NVDA, but this is under Windows, naturally. Windows 10 64-bit, in case it really matters.

Perseverence Rover In Transit

As reported by [NASA]:The Perseverence Rover is currently en-route to Mars and scheduled to land February 18th, 2021. Its primary goal is Astrobiology and climate study of our martian neighbor, along with other goals like [MOXIE] for testing oxygen production from Mars atmosphere. However, it does have a neat little side feature onboard, a microphone specifically installed to record the audio of the rovers entry, descent, and landing (EDL) sequence on Mars. Currently there are recordings taken October 19th of Perseverences interstellar journey from this mic, with the subdued hum of its heat rejection fluid pump as it coasts along its way, which is designed to regulate the Rovers onboard systems temperature by cycling fluid through a heat ex-changer mounted next to its Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator (think nuclear battery). Come February 2021 it could provide some interesting audio of its journey and landing through Mars' atmosphere.You can listen to the 60 second sound clip [here].

@4 I sent you a PM.@3: Pick a character and go. They do have different intros that try to push them toward character-specific storylines, but once you wind up in the random maps, you're mostly on your own save the rare hint/quest. I think Kai Asaki's intro is the least forgiving (between that grappling match and all those mercinaries, and that weird thing with the green star, and the first bossfight). Kia's is slower to throw you to enemies, with fewer opportunities to level.

@enesI know what you mean, but given you can use your fingerprint on mobile to get your passwords if your manager of choice supports that (most do) and making a good but easy to remember for personal reasons single password isn't that hard if you think about it, I'm not that worried my self.Many password managers can also export a protected backup of the database, which you could then store in a couple places with your normal backups.  Most of these managers can even import data from others, so if yours happens to fail suddenly for some reason...Over all though I think that keeping a hardcopy in braille is probably the best bet.  You can get a free slate if you live in the states, braille paper is cheap if you know where to look and large cardstock is nearly as good and can be found almost anywhere, and even if you can't get a free slate, they are often under 10 USD assuming you don't have some organization to just give you one.  I'd still make at least two coppies in different locations just encase though, or have another secure form like an audio file on an MP3 player or a note on a braille display/notetaker.

Defender, why add a whole new level of failure to my system with a password manager? What if the manager suddenly won't accept passwords, which has happened, or you forget its password, and then are denied access to  it. That is also a really big disaster that could happen if you don't have your bank or card details. I really would not trust a third party program to store all my logins usernames and passwords as well as card or bank info.Ethin,  malware has to first get onto your system to run, and as I stated, that is a low possibility  with good security practices, and virtue of being a power user. Also important to add I don't grant anyone  access to my system, and if it was someone  OI knew very well, I wouldn't grant unsupervised access.  This isn't a problem for a sighted person, as they can just pull out the card from the drawr and read it. This is my solution to a specificly blindy problem. As for card protections, if you are the cardholder, those protections apply to you. Also one reason its a good idea to use a credit card instead of a bank card, also good when merchants decide to be assholes and sneak in charges, or charge your card more and hope you don't notice.

Task Manager should show you the programs using the most amount of RAM. When was the last time you rebooted? I find it hard to believe you're using nearly 32 GB of RAM just by running a few programs. I know Firefox can take up a lot of RAM if you have a bunch of tabs open, but that's insane. You may want to run a full scan of your system to make sure you don't have any malware.

Hi everyone!Once again, my name is Georgia and I'm a student at UB studying Simulation and Game Design. This semester I have been creating an audio-only game and its called "BlindSight" so I wanted to share what I have worked on so far and it would be great if I could get some feedback/constructive criticism from anyone who is able to playtest my game.--The concept of the game is this:An audio-only "survival horror” game where the goal is to move through the forest by using a device that leads them along a path to their injured friend who will eventually assist them to get out and escape the forest. In addition to that, the player must not be swayed by the sounds of the creature that lies within the forest which is also trying to track the player and capture them.Instructions:- Movement: WASD or arrow keys- Hold the left-SHIFT and movement keys to run- To get navigation instructions and follow the voice to the ending press SPACE- Bell sound/"ding" indicates that you are moving in the right direction(you may not always hear it if you don’t trigger them at certain points)- If you get caught by the creature there will be a siren/alarm sound- In order to escape the creature, continuously press the ENTER key-if you hear a thump sound or pain/"ouch" sound you may have encountered a boundary wall and should try to move out of the way by backing up/turning however- To pause the game, press "P"--The current build is for Mac (still working on getting it to other platforms like on the Web and Windows) and I still have a few things to work on such as including an action/losing statement that will happen when the player gets caught by the creature too many times but regardless I would love to hear how others interact with the game so far. I'd trust a password manager over just storing them in text files. That's just a nasty explosion just waiting to happen. @enes, the protections claim you make only applies to standard users, and I doubt many of us use accounts that are standard users. And if you store the number in a file in your home directory or in a directory that's not hidden behind UAC/root permissions, anything can read or write to it, irrespective of its location on disk. So malware would have no trouble finding possible credit card numbers. All they'd need to do is scan the entire disk (and all attached disks), verifying on the way that they can access the directory, and if thye can, verify they can read each file and then read it. If they load it in chunks, you'd never even know its happening because nothing suspicious would be visible -- a process using 1-8 KB of RAM isn't all that uncommon, after all.

If using the classic manager, Or I think even in the win 10 one in details there should be an option in the view menu called show columns. check the box for commit size as well as the working set. that might give you a better idea. also show processes from all users.

Assuming you're not gonna mess around with things too much in settings and non game applications, you will probably be ok. But for your first time, you need help enabling tts and signing into psn. After that, you're set. The library in ps4 menu is accessible, just press cross twice on a game to download if you buy it digitally, which you can do from the app or web store. Otherwise, they are sorted left to right with most recently played to the left. The options menu when you press the options button on a game is also accessible. Thats handy for checking for updates, checking game data, update history, and erasing game data.

I don't think so, though I assume you could make one, if you could find an installable DOS, get somebody to install it for you, and then copy a screen reader into it. Honestly don't see what it gets you over talking dosbox though, since it's pretty much the same idea and you'd probably need a hardware synth, no NVDA emulating a BNS in your virtual machine.

Do you wonder if, instead of taking a piss, you should stop mid-stream and go develop some board games? I've told you before, you need a practice, a way, in the Japanese sense of that term. Pick something you've never done before. Start as a beginner, realize you're going to mess up. Keep doing it. Keep trying to be a beginner. Do it for at least a year. Then come talk to us.

This is exactly what I mean. A sighted person doesn't need to remember a  long string of numbers. It just puts unnecesary strain   when combined with all the other things I have to memorize because I am blind  Also, most people have several different cards, so that isn't really a viable stratigy unless you have photographic memory.

But when i go to the other version of pokemon access that i have and choose the same rom, i see the continue option. Why is this? 10, with modern operating systems and protection, the chances  of getting malware are slim, alot slimmer if you are a power user. This is the only way you can  access the info with the same ease as a sighted user can. Also, even if the info was captured in a scan, you aren't responsible for  fraudulant charges for a credit card. You just call and cancel the card, reverse the charges and order another. To me,  the convienence of having the info easily accessible to me is worth it.As for video calls, there is a better way. Scan your card, both front and back, but before doing so, peel off the film. Then a sighted person will be able to read the high resolution scan.

You could try a process of elimination. Does it do this when you have nothing open? Or when certain programs are left open? It may be nothing but, I have noticed some odd behavior with firefox over the past few months. When certain webpages are left open for prolonged periods of time they seem to suck an excess amount of resources. Part of me wonder's if someones compromised things like the ad-blocker plugins or are surreptitiously [mining bitcoin] in the background.

Try using the Windows 7 Task Manager from Winarrow. It actually shows you all processes, that way you can see if a Windows process is, in fact, using a lot of RAM. The WIndows 10 one does not, and is an absolute horrid mess

Probably missing a dot, do ./install and see if that works. . meand this directory, so what you're saying is in this directory, run the file with this name. If it was in another directory, it might look something like /bin/install rather than just ./install.

Just grab it from foobar2000.org, not the Microsoft Store. Not aware of literally anyone who checks for programs in the MS Store before downloading and installing them manually. Being a primary user myself, I'd agree that it's biggest strengths are its components and customisability. Seriously, do a full installation with all items checked in the tree view just to get a feel for things, take a scroll through the settings, and I mean all of them, and then go explore in the component knowledge base. If you want to do it, Foobar2000 can most likely do it for you. From podcasts, to YouTube playback and downloading, to file converting, to the playback of obscure filetypes from yesteryear.

You insert a graav symbol (`), not a reverse prime (‵). I've literally never seen that work with a reverse prime, and on modern versions of Eloquence synths for NVDA, chances it won't work, even with tags enabled, using a graav.

I had a trusty sighted person on hand when I first got my card, and from their I copied the info into NordPass, my password manager of choice. Again, also have that on my phone so I can quickly access it.
