hi, I loved the demmo though I'm stuck in 2.2, will complete it soon, an issue and some suggestions.it'd be cool if you make some cut scenes interactive, as in, let the player figure out where the cabbin is, and let them explore their surroundings, not nesesary, but it'd be a bonus point.and yeah the combo's, we've seen space spamming quite a lot in many games, it'd be cool to have something which would require practice to master,now the issue,so I'm facing this issue in all the phantum crafting games, environment sweet as well as this one.say I launch the game, and hit alt tab, and then try to find the game window again, it doesn't show up.with that said, I'm loving the feel of the game so far, keep up the good work.

I am liking the game although I honestly thing there's should be a enemy limit on one stage lol, it's way too crouded and you can't even find a space to take a breath, I am mostly ends up with a bunch of enemy shoot and beat the crap  of me which really get too noisey and I can't even keep up with the rythm anymore.also maybe slight comment for the writing, it's a little bit confusing if you keep switching between first person and third person to be honest  but as assault stated before this is only a concept demo.

Actually, on the subject of the rage demo... it's weirdly slow. Like it shows you how to do it, but way slower than it actually has to be. The best speed I've gotten with it is about 3 quarters of a second between hits, which works pretty consistently.

I haven't gotten the rage meter to work, either, and it's not eally clear in the tutorial about the timing for punches... is it supposed to be exactly like the demo? Itseems needlesly slow to get it to fill up. I also feel nemies are a bit tanky at this point, it seems to take forever to kill them. And actual swishes for punches would help in gaging distance and timing... right now I can only prettymuch mash space because I can't tell if I'm close enough to an enemy to hit them, or if the sounds of hits landing are on me or the enemy, though the voice samples do help.And in terms of just combat physics, an enemy should not be able to consistently run in close enough to hit you while you are hitting them. Other than all that thogh, I like this concept demo, and the story's not bad either! But gien this is a concept demo I asume there will be improvements made to writing and the like, so  won't complain abouttoo much. I do, however, think that it'd be nice to have a combo system.. or at least a preset melee combo that discourages simple mashing of the spacebar. That was one of the things I wasn't a huge fan of in Adventure at C:.

Honestly, if you just want to make games and couldn't care less about nerding out, use Unity, Unreal, or Godot. If your engine is so weak that it doesn't support decent audio, and you can reasonably use one of the other three, use those. The shitty thing about making tooling for gaming is that it's super easy to get caught up in the making of the tools, so you have no energy left for the making of the games.

Before I downloaded the codec pack, there were no freezes. It would just say that Windows Media Player did not support the file type. That's not a freeze. That's incompatibility. I would just hit "okay", and move on with my day. So no. In my case, I'm afraid not.This is what I mean when I say it's got to be more than just a Windows 10 issue. Some of you are experiencing it, some of us are not.

So... first impressions and thoughts, in no particular order.I actually like the momentum thing you have going, though it makes precision jumping from platform to platform actually kinda awkward until you get used to it.Love the sounds and music, no complaints whatsoeverMelee combat isn't quite as in depth as I was hoping for, but that's okay. I can live without a combo system.I don't quite understand how raising attack and defense works, though. I managed to raise them both to 4 after I think it was the tutorial, but after that they never went up again.2-2 is chaotic and horrifying, and I'm currently stuck. I shall try again tomorrow, because I'm slightly tired.  I like the idea, though. Now just getting through it...I'm unsure if this is intentional or not, but once you get the rage timing down, it's very possible to just stand in one spot and spam it, either to heal or to just slowly widdle down a crowd.When the read me refers to hidden weapons, I'm very curious now, because I haven't actually managed to find a single one. I may or may not be missing something obvious, we'll see.But I do enjoy what I've played so far and will most likely be backing.

O, not accessibility as in screen readers, accessibility as in the licenses. I see.I had always avoided it because afaik it's one of the ones that really wants to force you to use the studio.  Haven't evaluated it in years, but could have sworn it didn't work with screen readers.  I'm not actually sure offhand what can be done with just their API.  Probably everything with a side helping of "this documentation is for the studio, you're a C programmer, haha good luck", but maybe it's really good.

@nolan Yes Fusion 2.5 is graphical based. I don't think the mouse tracking is the issue, the mouse movement is pretty smooth, turns out it's the sound handling, it's not really set up for good 3d sound, which is what you need. Thanks for the offer of help, I've just been looking at Godot, Unity and Unreal Engine. The problem with Godot is that there's far fewer resources for learning, assets etc. I tried Unity before but didn't like it. I'm sighted so I'm going to give Unreal Engine a try but it will take some time to learn. It's designed for FPSs and it's blueprint system looks great. I've been wanting to use it for a while but didn't have a PC powerful enough to run it.Thanks again for the interest and offer of help.

@sightlessgamer I learned some BASIC a long time ago but have absolutely no knowledge of python or other languages for that matter. Starting from scratch would be a better option than trying to port this as this engine is based on object or sprite generated actions and events.I had hoped I could put something together that works, but whether it's engine limits regarding the sound or my lack of knowledge (probably both) I think @GrannyCheeseWheel is right, ultimately if I continue this using the Fusion 2.5 engine, you'll end up with an overall substandard product.Don't get me wrong, if enough people were prepared to put up with the jacked up, snappy, laggy motions as @GrannyCheeseWheel describes them, I'd continue, but if it's that bad I don't want to waste my time or anyone elses's continuing this.There are so many more talented people who can code in python and design sounds in this community alone that they would be in a better position than myself to code an audio FPS.

Can anyone get the rage thingy to kick in consistantly?  It will not activate for me at all. I'm punching at a standard incriment, and I believe I'm doing everything correctly. Does it need to be a certain time between punches rather than an incriment depending on how fast you punch?

Been watching this one from the sidelines, and from a development perspective I agree. Graeme, you seem talented with some great ideas, but this engine sounds pretty limiting if it makes mouse-tracking difficult. Would love for more of us to be able to help you out since there's some real development talent here, but a brief look at your tool suggests that it's graphical.If you have some sight and need graphical engine/development environment, I can suggest Godot. If you can see well enough to use the 3-D nodes, even if you only render them in a 2-D context, you'll get decent, cross-platform, more controllable audio than this proprietary engine seems to get you. It's also free and open source. I'm pretty sure it'll get you all the features you need here, and I can help you out with the accessibility if you like. Anyway, more of us can probably help you out if you went with something like Python, but if you need a more graphical-oriented development tool, a few of us here can help you with Godot.

@graeme  Just out of curiosity, how much programming knowledge do you have? I'd think it wouldn't be very hard to port it to say python or something else that can handle the panning. If you had to port it, I'd think it would be best to bight the bullet now because if you ever did continue this in this current engine it would be a lot harder to port down the line.For python there is synthizer and openAL for 3d sound and pygame as a general game engine.I really hope you don't abandon this entirely because I can see a lot of potential here.

You can't currently complete story without help. However, if you can find someone to run it with you via online co-op, that is also an option. There's also the autopilot option where if you have two controllers and a family member, turning it on can let the two controllers act as one, they can control the movement whilst you control the shooting.

I know of a bug in the pack where during an attack, if you set your volumes too low, the volume goes lower than the lower bound of the random check and it tracebacks because it's trying to generate a random number with a higher lower bound than the upper bound. I remember fixing it, then something happened with my machine and I never held onto the thing.

It can be useful sometimes in no-roundtime areas, like when you want to get riln in tanglewood where a logger stands waiting to chop you. there's no roundtime. That's when stacking comes to play.I think it happens when you try to attack from hiding while hiding in plains or something, or wherever hindering your stealth.

I wouldn't say that we're perfect. This incident is enough to prove that. For one thing, the admin who punishes the person could set a reminder in their phones in future to prevent something like this happening again. We could have some outside of the game system, like a google docs spreadsheet that we use to keep track of times and dates of things that we all agree to check daily. Or, something that someone else comes up with. But either way, there's little doubt that we're a perfect team.Just so it doesn't look like I'm out here pointing fingers at the rest of the admins, I was the one who forgot about unbanning JayJay when his time came. So, when I say that we could stand some improvement, I include myself there as well.

@Defender: As someone who has also witnessed (first hand) the abuse of power that a large population of online game developers seem to partake in, I can definitely understand your skepticism here. While I can't speak on potential situations that I don't know of, everything I've witnessed as an administrator on SBYW from the rest of the team leads me to have faith in their ability to moderate honestly and fairly. In the past we have had staff members that either set a bad example or did not remain consistent in their enforcement of the rules, but they have since been removed.Believe me when I say that if I were to get wind of any administrator misusing their rights, I would be the first one to speak up about it and insure that the staff member in question is dealt with. I wouldn't come up here and claim faith in the rest of the administration if I didn't actually feel that way; I can promise you that.

Hello!Given that a lot of what I was going to say has already been said, I'm not going to waste the energy to type up a two page response disproving every single one of Windows' claims. Suffice it to say that there have been 0 cases of the current SBYW administrators abusing their powers (or setting players up, as Windows would like you to believe). We are generally pretty laid back; though direct enforcement of rules differs slightly from administrator to administrator, I can say with full certainty that we don't go out of our way to unfairly drop the hammer on individuals for no apparent reason.The removal of Windows' mute after 48 hours can be attributed to the fact that we don't (currently) have an automatic expiry system in place, as well as the potential that no administrators have been active when he had (apparently) asked to be unmuted. This is the first time I'm hearing about this personally, and to log into the forum and see so much misinformation and conspiracies being spread around is astounding.You're playing a free game, (ran by volunteers), who are under no obligation to continue providing you said service. Please stop needlessly stirring the pot in an attempt to discredit us simply because you disagree with a decision and an oversight on our end. SMH

I might be able to if someone can provide me with an attack string that causes the error, and the trigger string itself as well as the function that it calls if it calls one. Note, the attack string must be one that generates an error, not just any will do.The semicolon thing is probably because command stacking is on, which honestly isn't really all that useful in Clok since you have round time and travel time anyway.

if you fucking dont respect someone's signature, you are fucking ignorant sometimes.windows's signature clearly says, the world is full of bad people. what, you got ofended? look, all people are evil and, some, mostly, are rude. this is 21st century. it will be forever like this. you are just believe you are the most good person in history, and you're not! there's no perfect person in this world.everyone is'nt perfect. everyone has flaws, even if theire small, even if theire hugesome people have depresion, and you just plainly didrespect them, or you are ignorant about those people, whateverhaving low vision does'nt mean you are superior. you are only a bit superior in the vision you have, but nothing more than that! look, even blind people can bike using echolocation. and their NVDAs are faster than the jaws of the schools. they are independent... but i'm not saying all blind people, because some just might got completely, completely blind, with the visual cortex stopping completely. that means, that the person cant use the new +, but they still can use braille, i  think. p+ l o+ th+ f y+ j++ a++ r+ e+++ a+++ n+++ t+++ the forumi'll also log out or something, because i hadd enough of this sh+++.at least you dont distribute u** forks, but you are still anoying by doing that. seriously? now windows cant have freed** of sp**ch?windows, the mistakes at the end are things i decided to censor myself.

That doesn't make any sense though. I've never had this problem, if memory serves. Perhaps MS never fixed it because its a bug that's very difficult to reproduce, or only happens under very specific conditions and on very specific setups? I really don't know
