OK there might be better places to ask this, but, in beta 74, are the passive effect cards such as Iron hand really supposed to provide the same buffs as before? Because when placed in the back line, it seems pretty rare for their effect to apply, sometimes the damage dealt won't change at all.

how about every clock tick or every several clock ticks, you check if velocity is > 0 and if it is then you play the walking sound. you could also modulate how frequent the walking sound is based on velocity. for example, if velocity is low, then play walking sound every 5 clock ticks, if it is high then every 3 clock ticks.I don't know the frequency of your game's clock so of course you'd need to tweak that to fit. you could also have a linear relationship between frequency of sound being played and the character's velocity like:walkingSoundFrequency = velocity / someConstantyou'd need to figure out the right value for someConstant through trial and error

Sorry for double post, but I experimented a little.It seems the game respects my voice settings as long as the following conditions are met:1. System language must be set to English. In this case, I changed the language to British English specifically.2. The voice set in both 32-bit and 64-bit settings must be the same voice.When I changed language back to Polish, the game started using Polish voice again, but the system voice settings were untouched in both versions.So it seems the only way to use English voice for me in Fara is changing system language before playing.And I cannot use NVDASAPI, because in one setting it works and in the other does not.

I have completed both Voyager and 4x4 Galaxy.I played 4x4 Galaxy after the game entered Spring Thing.The only thing not accessible was the map, each destination was being read as "O".I notified the author and she fixed the whole thing in minutes.This is how we have the screenreader version.To choose destination with easier enemies, pay attention to the colour on the link, it specifies the difficulty of the planet.I forgot which colors they are, but it all is in the game's help.Use INSERT+F or whatever the screenreader command is to check the formatting, it includes color.If nothing else, escape.

Given that op ordered a desktop with full fat graphics and all the other full fat desktop parts to go along with it the comparisons to $600 low voltage laptops don't really work. The 4700U is a powerful chip in the low power space, but put up against op's desktop and it's a completely one-sided curb stomp for the desktop.Given that op's desktop is also a gaming desktop, it will doubtless have at least one of the case panels made from tempered glass, and will have more flashing color changing lights in it than some nightclubs. For the parts in fred's machine you're already looking at about 1.8 to 2K just for the base parts,  add in the RGB gubbins and fancy glass panels and you're up at that 2.5K mark no problem. Fredd may have went for extra warranty or something else, as from their posts they seem like the cautious type that would get the extra peace of mind from doing so.Taking all that into consideration, this is a pretty normal price for a pre-built.

Jayde, 1k, even 1.5 is ok I think for a durable machine, but 2800 is kind of overdoinng it I think. But here is a fact, cheap laptops will always have something fundementally wrong or messed up with them, iether stuff that doesn't matter  for us, such as the display, or important stuff, soldered low ram, single channel ram, underpowered or inadequately coolled processor etc. I  did spend over 1k for my laptop, with the highest AMD processor available, and don't regret this. Shame toshiba isn't around though, their machines were like tanks until intel processor updates ruined mine.

I'm not sure, since I never wanted to start unemployed. Buttons require you to use NVDA+/ to move the mouse pointer to the current navigator object, then press the left mouse button to activate it, assuming numlock is off. There are lots of tree views as well and I agree it tends to be tricky, but I got used to it pretty quickly. The command NVDA+Slash is used in pretty much most instances, as well as object navigation. But I can assure you that everything in the game apart from the main menu is labeled and manageable. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Just a heads up, when deleting the line about the graphical version, The original shortcut doesn’t work correctly, so just replace it with a shortcut to the runtrawel file instead.By the way, thanks forgetting we hooked on stone soup this past year.

I'm not sure, since I never wanted to start unemployed. Buttons require you to use NVDA+/ to move the mouse pointer to the current navigator object, then press the left mouse button, assuming numlock is off. There are lots of tree views and I agree it tends to be tricky, but I got used to it pretty quickly. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hey,I've been trying to figure out how to navigate. I'm quite familiar with object navigation, but it's still a little tricky. I decided to start as unemployed, just to see how the system works. I'm struggling to access the job offers I should have. I do see lots of buttons, some with labels and others without. It's just a bit disorienting despite the manual because I'm not always clear where I should go to find information. How would you go about finding job offers? I noticed a "negotiate offer," label of some kind at one point but wasn't sure how to activate it. I feel like the game has a lot of hyperlinks but I'm not sure how best to use them. Any advice or step-by-step info to get over this hump would be appreciated.

no no, what I mean is that you used to be able to view a list of windows you had hidden (I think it was something like alt NVDA l and it would show you a list of the windows you had hidden/what number they were. It's not a huge deal as you can obviously just check manually, but yeah was just curious more than anything.

I've yet to encounter a stove without knobs, but if that's the case then yes, you probably can't use it.  If the stove does have knobs, I can't even conceive of one that a blind person can't use.  SO from the perspective of it being an option, it should be an option.I just flinch when someone says that they are basically relying on the wi-fi being up and of enough quality to get video through, a human being at the other end of the app, etc etc etc. for cooking.  Bad enough if one of the core things you use has wi-fi and you don't consider it an optional appliance.  You never want to be in the position of not being able to cook that day that a lot of stuff goes wrong and you don't have internet or whatever, tempting as it is to go all out on the apps.

Hi all.I have worked on the guide most of the day, 11 hours none stop, and I'm quite proud of the result.I have added the following:1. The Prolog. Yes, I have played the whole ProLog again, copied all the tutorial text into the guide, and explained as much as possible without spoiling anything of the story.I'm not sure if I can make that section better. I have tried to separate the text from the game screen from my own explanations by adding the line "Game screen" before some of the text sections. I hope it makes sense, especially for those who haven't played or completed the ProLog before.I could add all the times you have to press X and also when you have to explore to get the next tutorial screen, but I'm not sure if it'll be too much or not. Feedback on that would be greatly appreciated.But now, you can complete the whole ProLog section without the need of OCR at all, which was one of my biggest goal with the guide.2. Added some more pause menus.3. Added the battle section with explanations which hopefully makes sense. Comments on that section is also very much welcome. Also if there is something which I've got wrong, misunderstood, or if you just have other ways of doing it etc. I mean, my way of playing the game is not the only way to do it. 4. Story mode.Here, I've tried my best to explain how the story mode is played, and explained the controls as well. I'll add the Square control later, since I need to figure out what exactly it shows on the screen. I need sighted help for this.5. Recorded sounds.I have recorded the whole playthrough of the ProLog, because I need some of the sounds in the sounds reference section. The playthrough is not good enough to be published anywhere without being edited. I skipped a lot of dialog and other stuff, since the ideer was not to release it anywhere. Just in case anyone ask for it. However, if someone would like a playthrough of the ProLog without any comments but only the sound from the Playstation, then I might replay it again in the future.So yeah, a lot of work as been done on the guide today. If just one person find it useful, then it's all worth it.I hope the guide will make more people able to play the game, when they can read how great and playable it is.Again, if you have any comments, good or bad, suggestions or whatever, then I would love to hear from you.Now, it is really time to get some sleep.

Greetings, travellers of galaxies, completer of quests, deep combat system lovers, and anything in between!I'd like to give you three new games which are very good time wasters in my opinion.First is Voyager. You are in command of a starship of a peculiar nature. It only goes downward to the center of the galaxy due to the descent drive installed. You need to manage travel supplies, make money by transporting goods from randomly generated world to randomly generated world, avoid or deal with pirates, collect samples of terran or alien worlds, smuggle, manage your crew, and, all the meaning to this is that you should uncower the nature of the descent drive! Kind of long story, i myself didn't complete it yet, prestiging system, meaning if you settle down on  a world you can start over with bonuses. Link is: https://brunodias.itch.io/voyageurThe game costs $4.99, but every cent worth it in my opinion. The interface is a web based one, tested with NVDA. The only minor pest is the adjustment of music, ambience, and sounds. You can toggle them off and on by going to settings, then standing on the desired item, and going one down, there should be a clickable. Click there with nvda mouse click and it should toggle, though, one of my friends couldn't do it, but for me it works perfectly. Second is 4x4 galaxy. Maybe some of you are aware of it because downloaded it and it gave me a screen reader friendly version, another web based game.link is:https://agat.itch.io/4x4-galaxyTaken from the site: "4x4 Galaxy is a space exploration game with 16 planets that are different every playthrough thanks to procedurally generated content. A steam game about battling, completing quests, building towns, and getting better and better equipment in proceduraly generated fashion. Hi,So, I am a complete beginner to this game. Now, with the new update, could someone give some tips regarding what a total beginner should do? How do I find my coords, what should I do to get started apart from findig the settlement? Someone mentioned crafting, how do I craft? Should I start out with crafting, or should I just head to settlement and begin questing? I've discovered my first settlement as the game kind of lead me there in the first loop and I travelled, getting a weapon chest, but I wasn't really sure how to track my objective, an expedition where I had to inspect something. I found a young version f the species and inspected it but it didn't say objective complete. Also, I've noticed you always seem to have the other windows like hold and such, but where is the main log? It's there but what's the best way of getting to it?

Class balance seems kind of screwed up to me. You'd think Jedi or Sith would be some of the strongest, but that's mostly non-Force wielding types like the bounty hunter or mercenary subclasses. It's probably because Jedi are meant to be defenders and not offensive. Sith can do twice the damage because of fury, but they're fragile otherwise. Jedi actually got a rework recently, but their damage output is still meh compared to other classes I've seen.Most of the best equipment is random, and most of that is created by the inventor subclass of the technician class. There are also powerful mobs called legend mobs that can drop some decent equipment, but they're heavily flagged for use by certain classes. The best of those are on mobs that need a group to take out unless you're insanely powerful. You can build your own custom weapons and armor, but they're not as good as some of the random drops/invents.

I grabbed the win wizard NVDA addon again not too long ago, but I feel like it's been somewhat crippled from what I remember? You used to be able to give windows custom titles and see a list of windows you currently have hidden, both of which are features that no longer seem to be there?Am I missing something?I used to use custom titles for things like audio repeaters in VAC and the window list was super helpful when you couldn't remember what number you'd set to what.

9 thousand isn't much, but when you consider most of the doner base are unemployed persons living off government benefits then it becomes larger and larger. Doing some rough math, they'd need about 900 to 1800 people to donate, and from what I'm reading, the already mentioned market, plus the subset that own macs just makes it even larger off an achievable goal.

You can't easily wrap a C# DLL in anything, last I checked.  C# and C/C++ are very different things, and C# needs the entire .net Runtime to be, well, running.  If you need to call C# from other languages, you will need to look into implementing a COM object, which almost requires a custom installer so that you can register it in the registry to even work.  Also, that'll only work on Windows, for Linux or Mac you'll have to use something else, probably a Unix socket.

I got to wave 12. 64 thousand and something, still haven't figured out how to copy the score dialogue at the end. Here's my strategy, for what it's worth.I generally stay in one place, unless I feel like I need to move to get closer to an asteroid, e.g. a small one toward the end of a wave. I try to focus on segments of the field with a lot of activity and turn within them as little as possible, think lining up the single asteroid in the tutorial. Then if the field changes, I turn to a new more active segment. This is opposed to just constantly turning in a circle, which was what I was trying before when the field got really crowded.I usually have snipe mode on. If you're getting a collision alarm, try to center the alarm, that usually takes care of that asteroid. That's hard to do on higher waves, in the final wave I literally had it happen where I get a single beep of the alarm before immediately getting hit, there were a lot of asteroids flying around. If I have a lot of small ones at the end of the wave, I'll sometimes try brawl mode, but I still haven't figured out if that makes them easier to hit or not.Hey, is there a way to buy the game for another person? I guess you could just buy it again and send them the download link, but I notice it fills your email in, at least it did mine, probably because I used Pay Pal. So it would be tied to my email again, not whomever I'm buying it for, I think anyway.

Hi! So i'm prototyping a fps character controller, but I want to make the footsteps sound accelerate with the character acceleration, like in scarlet shells. I've tried something like that:        distance += HVelocity.Length();        if(IsOnFloor()&()&&!IsOnWall())        {            if(distance>=300)            {                EmitSignal("Walk");                distance = 0;            }        }It works... more or less, but the sound doesn't play while my character is decelerating and as you can see, the footstep sound only plays when the distance reaches the desired number. OK, so sounds like the spawner may be getting stuck on higher waves, vs. a speech queuing or some other issue. I've actually never gotten to wave 11, though I haven't played game after game after game--I usually stop to fix a few things between runs and get distracted. Problem with audacity

Hello! I need to cut a part of my recording, that is, from a certain place to the end. When i press 8 and i start the selection, at least i assume so, and when i want to end the selection, i press 9. And then, no matter what i do, it always plays the very short part of the recording where i have ended the selection. When i press delete, it says, no audio selected. What am i doing wrong here?
