As someone who can't keep my grubby fingers away from Alter warrior cleric is incredibly palatable ... and that comes from someone who played pretty much exclusively as necro war. I could probably sit here and rant for days about how incredibly powerful those two classes have become, especially in tandom with one another ... but this is a general mud topic, not an AA topic. It should come as no surprise that Alter is my top favourite mud of all time. Here are a few others I've enjoyed.Materia Magica: this game has a lot of complexity and I mean a lot, unfortunately what gets me is the grinding and autoquests that you actually need to not be a terrible char.Hell / inferno: in what other mud can you push someone out of a flyer and hear them splatter to the ground? Hell is pvp restricted but has a decent userbase for trolling and shitposting. Inferno is it's forgotten little brother with no pvp restrictions but I'd surmise that that's why the userload is so low.Star Conquest: for the brief period of time that I played it, it was pretty fun. Just not fun enough to justify writing a profile. I'm all about just relaxing and killing things in the moment and not investing into anything. Seriously though the mechanics are super nice. And if you like rp the world lends itself very well to that.

HEY, just in case you are still interested, I added joystick support for pygame aplications on the past.Basically, you initialize an instance of pygame.joystick.joystick(id), and check the state of a button by myjoystick.get_button(buttonId). for axes, you get the current value with: myjoystick.get_axis(axisId). In this case, it returns a value from -1.0 to 1.0 representing the current state.of course, checking input this way is not optimal at all, so soon or later you'll need to write your own snipets. My aproach is a getState function that returns a state object with all current controller values for buttons and axes, so I can compare it with a previous joystick state.I can share some code if someone is interested, but it's not hard to write your own wrapper.Finally, there should be a lot of other options out there, but hopefully it could help you, at least for experimenting purposes.Happy coding.

strange, if you use nvda+numpad 4 and 6 it should read out the edit field names just before the edit field. The help is best done in the following way: In the combo box select a topic then what appears in the edit field beside it just copy to clipboard and put it into a notepad for example.

wow the memories! Little cup was hard on stadium two but I hated prime cup sense the pokemon and their move sets were randomized. So say you gat a charzard or something each time you played that cup it could have different moves. Actually i can't remember if you could get charzard but I think so. I successfully use a emulated version of the transfer pack with the project 64 but can't remember how. I will tell you though that one of the hiccups I found was that when you, say, play pokemon crystal and then go to stadium you had to i think put the battery file in the folder with stadium two rom i think. It then had to be replaced each time you wanted to play stadium two with a new set of pokemon you wanted to try out. This makes more sense if you have tried but basically i mean you can't simply run crystal again, change out your party, save, and then simply reload stadium. You have to copy the battery file in the gameboy folder and replace it in the stadium folder, again its been a while so maybe some things have changed.

That's weird. I own SFV for both PC, and PS. Both times, even before allowing me to enter the game for the first time, Capcom had me agree to their user agreement/terms, and set up my Fighter ID, and region location.Maybe you can't do anything yet, because it's still downloading updates for the game.I do remember not being able to play for a bit until a few title updates were done downloading first.

Hi.Hmm ok, I made it to the cathedral.What ideot decided to put a cursed chest down there? Had to defeat 5 waves of enemy skkeletal archers and shit like that, came out victorious though.I'm still running around with a level 1 weapon. @353I doubt it, because Lucia uses sound_lib I believe, which doesn't have filtering.Synthizer doesn't have filtering *yet*, but will do in the not-too-distant future I think.Also, I reckon that getting to the point where rain sounded different as you walked through a door would be exteremly hard, and getting it fully realistic would be even harder, since to do it properly you'd need to specify how much sound was blocked by your walls. Otherwise, the occlusion would sound the same in a tent, as in a stone building.

Hi,So from what I remember, you actually want to be going south west, not south east.  if you head in a general westerly direction in that place, you should be good.  Though this is coming from someone who managed to clear that area in about 10 minutes, but took about half an hour over two days to find the blacksmith in town. I'm currently on the next quest attempting to find the right crypt to enter.  Not sure if enemies refresh though as I think I've been going into the same one a couple times.  Also, I had no idea you could wear the king's crown from such an early stage and before defeating him.  was really surprised when I got that legendary item drop out of nowhere.That's another thing I can't remember if it was mentioned, but different rarity items have different sounds when dropping.  very useful.

on the mixer there's an input jack, you will need a jack to jack adapter, headphone jack. Plug the headphone jack into the yeti, and the other jack into the mixer. Plug your headphones into the output port on the mixer, and there you go. I use an XLR, but my friend is happy with his yeti solution, and it works.

I totally agree with you, @6 and 7.maybe my computer is optimised for vs or something, I DK, but I don't often run in lag that can impact my coding severely, and even when I do, a restart of nvda can do wanders.I am into mobile development for a while now, and have to set breakpoints and use the debugging features on a remote target, for example my android device that's plugged in the computer. With all that running, I get some lag after some intense use, but it's bearable enough to not be a big problem.sure enough, ms gui tools aren't the most accessible in the world, but that's why the dotnet cli for core exists. Plus, it is pretty well documented, though I know you need to use dotnet framework, but just a friendly suggestion to switch to core as soon as you can.Another alternative to visual studio is using vs code with c# and f# extenssions, but then you would certainly need to switch to core, the cli support is many orders of magnitude better than framework ever was anyway, so no big deal there.

Further elaborating, while I don't have a Dualshock I can give you some general info about audio games that have rumble.For older games like Top Speed, it only does rumble through DirectInput, which is an older standard so I'm not sure if you can get rumble there. IIRC, DS4Windows makes it work as an xInput controller which is a newer and far better standard that newer games use. Sadly there aren't that many audio games that rumble, but the few I can think of which should work include AudioStrike, Breed memorial, Dreamy Train, Planet Saga, Shadow Rine and undead assault. And of course there are a lot of mainstream games that should just work, IE GTA or any of the mortal kombats have pretty good rumble.

Ok, as a follow-up specifically for learning algorithms, since other people are probably following along and could use this info as well:Classes aren't a bad idea, but you don't need the ones you think you need.  You need three things for games, with an optional fourth.  Most of this can be had without going to college, but I did this 10 years ago or so so I don't have links.First, basic trig.  You don't need to go as far as all the trig identities, but you should become comfortable with unit vectors and learn to visualize the basics like the unit circle, and how to work out things about right triangles with sine/cosine/tangent.  This immediately solves basically every problem ever if you're wondering how positions and velocities work, for starters.Second, algorithms as far as basic trees and hashtables.  You're not going to get that from a normal class, you have to look into something CS specific for it.  If you're comfortable with at least a binary search tree and hashtable that'll take you a long way, but understanding the basic idea behind big-O notation would allow people such as myself to replace entire paragraphs of explanations with "it's O(whatever)", which is what every reputable container library does.  I think a good benchmark for if you know enough is if you can intelligently talk about why you'd use something like a btree over a binary search tree--you don't need to implement a btree or anything, but having the subtlety under your belt that you can evaluate the pros and cons of data structures against each other like that is very valuable, even if you're just going to use someone else's.Third is practice thinking algorithmically.  Most algorithms written for games are entirely custom.  For this one, find a book or something about algorithms that has exercises and do them.  It's one thing to be able to rattle off a binary search tree, and quite another to be able to get into the right mode of thought to pull something specific out of your hat that's not the dreaded O(n^2).  Read the dreaded O(n^2) as my game is slow, Python sucks, flail for new programming language, repeat, at least until you know how big-O works.Fourth, the optional one, is software engineering skills.  This is different from programming in the same way that construction workers are different from architects.  The programming side is how to hammer nails, the software engineering side is how to make a house that doesn't collapse.  Fortunately, this is actually the easiest to learn: it's not super scientific.  Most of what they focus on is how do you get a junior programmer at Amazon not to fuck up the codebase.  Software engineering is basically the discipline of defining problems well, making software reusable, and knowing how to plan ahead for tomorrow.The above requirements are along the lines of what you need to do an engine like earwax.  If you're going to write very specific games and not try to go general, then you can grab things like the collision tutorial or any of a wide variety of other more advanced libraries, get a bit of trig under your belt, and have at it.  Ultimately, in the "I write specific games" case, you'll just throw out the code after each--and I say that even for myself, it's not just a thing newbies do but rather the nature of games.  If you look into Doom and Quake, they were by the same company/team, written 2-3 years apart, and have almost no code in common (if you're wondering, both are open source and some of the best understood game engines of all time, to the point of literally having published descriptions of the network protocols, etc).But for engines, you need good performance (which is algorithms) and the ability to have a stable public API and sane internals that don't change all the time (the software engineering side).  And neither are really optional.

Regarding audio device and PS4 controller. The PS4 controller actually is an audio output device as well, and probably input device too, since you can plug an audio jack into its front port to use a wired headset through the controller. When used with the PS4, that works even wirelessly AFAIK, when used with a PC, you'll only have this functionality when connected via USB.

IntelliSense can be quite dodgy, sure, I know that they are working on it (at least that's what they've said), and the second problem is there's lag when your code runs into compile errors, but other than that It works fairly well for me. CTRL + Tab is your best friend to quickly jump through different windows, and I recommend disabling file previews so that your files do not automatically popup previews as you are going through them in Solution Explorer. Also, disabling line numbers is a must so that NVDA can report spaces or tab levels. I am not using NVDA addons for it.You can also try it with Narrator. I believe that's  their primary screen reader that they test with during development.

Cool. I'll probably try it out once it does come out. But this game has some of the same things I don't like about BOA.. namely poor inventory management and items that ave no indication which, while it may be enjoyable to some, feels a little frustrating. Would it be possible for your character to know what direction something is in compared to you instead of just how many steps away it is? Could one of the two people who can use QQ here suggst it to the developer? I'd love to come on board with this but QQ is still giving me trouble.

Yes, currently the squares do not have labels in line with the actual physical game. Adding coordinates is not a bad idea. I would however not want them to interfere with being able to quickly scan through the squares that have letters placed on them. We will think about the best way to accomplish this.Our long-term goal is to develop a modern web client with sound support and other features, but are unsure when we will have the time to implement it. Ryan and I are full-time software engineers now so unfortunately do not have as much time to dedicate to RS games as in years past. We are however glad that we could bring everyone this release which, as far as we know, is the first accessible electronic version of Scrabble.

The I7S I got came pre-loaded with the google play store, so I just did the usual and downloaded google accessibility sweet.I'm not sure with other consoles though.As for using it, I haven't yet got to test out it's potential as I was in hospital for some time just after I got it, but it seems like a good device where speed is concerned.I'm struggling at the minute though with my RG350, it doesn't even make sounds when navigating through the menus, so I'm gunna have to do some serious memorising if I want to use this thing.
