stereo mix not working properly with virtual record as the title say above i am trying to using stereo mix with virtual record software.but it seem stereo mix not working well with program.is there anyway to fix this plobblem?when i record it can record computer sound but not include microphone sound.i set stereo mix as default and microphone is communication.i am using microphone usb for default communication and select stereo mix when recording.i try disabled microphone usb and microphone of notebook none of them work.i set all input device listen as playback default device or realtek doesn't work either.so is there another way to solve or use other software else?thanks for your help. Yes, you have to pay $30. But it's $30 for a game that wasn't designed to be in English to begin with, because it's developed in a country where noone speaks the language on a daily basis. Translation software is simply an alternative workaround. I would like anyone who says $30 entitles them to a translation to come up with an idea of who to get to translate, how they would go about translating an entire game on their own, etc.People pay for imported mainstream games all the time on consoles, which don't even support translation software. e3GP conversion format Hey guys, I was wondering if you would know a successful batch 3gp audio conversion tool. I have a buddy of mine who has a few soundtracks that somehow ended up in 3GP file formats, despite the fact his curent mp3 player doesn't even support this file ssytem. Anyways, if you can point me to a way to convert these, please let me know. Hi, first, arcadia, post 8, If you want to contribute to the cast with audio especially if stuff works and descriptions thats fine.To everyone else, if you can't including well everyone posted so far and in the future, if you can, audio would be the best so you have a voice.But if you can't speak english or you can't speak for whatever reason, just send a text file in an email, and I'll use balabolka to convert the thing to mp3 and read it out via scansoft nuance vocaliser or one core.So far, if you can tell what country you are from, I can read out us, uk, australian, canadian and I think indian english and I think one core has irish to.So if you tell me where you come from with your audio or text or whatever then finek, if you just want to run out in text thats fine.Obviously if you have working devices audio would be the best or if you still can't speak, text and just the audio of you using the devices and I'll just knock them together.It would be nice to have these things working, but if push comes to shove I have access to the phonetones sync folder which has dumps of the music and sound for each of these.In addition, somewhere I have the series 60 symbian midi sound font to load into coolsoft so its not like I don't have choices.My target for the cast, is probably somewhere between june/ july anyway.Mainly because I am in the process of getting bits of my house gutted and bits reconstructed, this is almost done my side.After that I need to get ready for the road trips I have on, so in about 7 or so weeks of trips or so around the country.Anyway, After all that and all extra updates and other stuff, I'll need to find a blank spot which I will find and put em together, so just drop them to me when you are ready, you have heaps of time.While I will be away from the 18th to 24th of this month, I will be able to answer questions before them, and from the 25th till 4th of march.After that I will have my system with me but questions may not be all the time as I will be traveling about and probably only pulling out the laptop when I am in a place for a long while like 2 or 3 days.Anyway, no pressure needed, this thing is going to have a long move time.At any rate at some point either the virus will lock us down again, or I will find some blank space.This has been the main reason I have put all offline external contracts off.Anyway just keep posting and joining in the descussion.If you are unsure listen to the cast to see what I'm about. I am betting your colleagues/teachers were using the same symbols you used, so that was great.I did not know about the keyboard though, I have studied linguistics in french and as I said I have just showed the symbols I need to my brother and we were selecting them from the word IPA symbols, great to know there is a dedicated keyboard that must make a more unified system. At this time, I had to download something called doulos sil font to make the computer display the symbols correctly. I hear many of them are now incorperated in the ascii character database though. I also needed to download the ipa keyboard and enable it in the keyboard and language settings. this was in the control panel at that time. This keyboard appears as an added keyboard under the Icelandic language. I also downloaded a symbol set to make jaws read all the ipa symbols, though I have discovered that with some naming differences, espeak with nvda can read most of them as well. I used this software stack to get through my bachelor's and master's in linguistics. My transcriptions were hideous I'm sure, but my teachers could at least see I tried, and I could usually read other people's transcriptions as well. Re: would it be possible to port a speech engine to Game Boy Advance? Hmm, its tricky but could depend on a few things. Voice sampling, while uncommon, isn't new to GBC/GBA/NES games. Digging around a bit there are a few game boy games that have it, there's a video [here] with some samples, some more verbose than others. There's also a few lists and forum posts on gameboy PCM speech [here], and another video of NES sampling [here]. There's also a site [here] that goes into the GB's capabilities abit, including its ability to play WAV samples.Most of it seems to be low grade sampling of a select few voice clips, nothing like a dynamic TTS engine that could handle a novels worth of RPG text. Maybe if you stripped down a crude TTS system with a limited lexacon, or select voice sampling supplemented with audio cues, etc. Its definitely an interesting challenge and/or learning experience.edit: If I were going to try something like this, and again it depends on a few things like space/etc, I would probably see if you can play segments of a wav file. Like if you have a 10 second wav file and can play the first two seconds, then the last two seconds independantly. Then I would have a low sampled recording of letters, phonics, etc. and use code to stitch together words. It would probably be slow, and ugly as sin to listen to, but might work.
