How to enter different dates in headers on different pages of a MS?

How to enter different dates in headers on different pages of a MS? I am trying to maintain a diary using MS-Word 2007. I want to put the dates in header. But as I enter the date on today's page, all the previous dates change and become same as today's date. Please help me in putting
