Oh yeah. Of course you would have to enable internet sharing on that other computer, which I don't find very hard. I've used this method to give an old computer internet access when I had it in Vinux. Sadly, that computer is history.

I was just warning anyone thinking of going Linux, in case they had secure boot. I do happen to have a computer that doesn't use secure boot, so yea for that, but bummer for those who don't.BTW, Ubuntu does support secure boot by the way.
