Site Updates August 3

The bureau of temporal investigations apologizes for the delay in regular update posts. There was a rip in space time discovered which may have caused certain entities to have briefly been duplicated or erased from the timeline completely. This rip had to be investigated, which required the timeline to be temporarily frozen. We now believe that all traces of this rip, as well as any changes it may have caused should be reverted and you may continue to live your life out normally. If you notice anything out of the ordinary, such as this month's paycheck being larger than it should be by about a week of wages, changes to any documents you were working on or other such issues, please contact your nearest branch of the biuro with any details. Thank you for your understanding!Updates by pitermach:Recreate the entry for Sound Strider after it had accidentally been deleted.Correct download link for Superdog's Bone HuntAudo: Entry, description and links.

Re: Site updates 21st June

Yep, TLOU 2 is very much happening. I don't actually have  a PS4 sadly, but I was talking to Aaron about making an entry for the game, even with all of the publically available information on how it works. Then he (as in Aaron) actually bought a PS4 just to play it, so rest assured we'll be getting to it, whether that's Aaron or myself because it absolutely deserves an entry

Majorly mainstream

It's not often that you get to write here about games that aren't strictly "audio", as in developped by and/or for the blind. The few times that you do it generally involves games for phones, but less often the really popular releases... Let alone the Tripple A ones. And yet, here we are, writing about zombies and slaying things and... Why is my second news post in a row about zombies? This is so depressing. Or at least, it would be if the news wasn't so groundbreaking. If you've been following the forums, or more particularly people into video games on social media, you might have noticed a trend of mainstream video games, both those for indie developers as well as high budget tripple A titles, have been increasingly getting more accessibility features. Things like closed captions, high contrast color schemes, button remapping, and eventually text to speech. In most cases however, even if a game had text to speech, it didn't automatically make it fully playable if you're blind because it still lacked in additional audio queues or aim/navigation assistance features. Then, The Last Of Us 2 happened. The followup to the incredibly successful Playstation 4 hit from 2013, widely considered the last killer app for the console before its replacement comes out in a few months, TLOU2 is a massive, cinematic game mixing the horror survival, stealth, adventure and shooter genres with a gripping, emotional story. It also happens to be completely accessible no matter if you can see or not, or a number of other disabilities. As detailed in this blog post from Sony the game includes over 60 accessibility features. Of particular interest to our readers is the previously mentioned text to speech available in just about every language, as well as a number of additional navigational aids and audio queues helping you locate items, jump over ledges, aim at and shoot or stealthily sneak up on enemies and more. For over 3 years, Naughty Dog worked with multiple consultants, including long-time gamer Brandon Cole to get these features just right and the results, quite literally, speak for themselves. This puts the game right up there with every other audio game in terms of playability, and while we already saw games become this playable, for example in the case of Sequence Storm or Skullgirls, this is the first time such a major, high budget title has received this kind of treatment and attention. If you'd like to learn more, this forum thread is a must-read.What if you don't have a PS4 or don't want to play such a game? Well, there is another game that has also become extremely playable, though this time it's thanks to capable modders. A couple months ago, while in lockdown with his blind girlfriend, a person going by the nickname of Wensber decided to give her something fun to do by making one of the games he was interested in accessible. This game, called Slay the Spire, is a really popular and interesting take on the roguelike and card collecting genre. You can play one of several character classes, more of which become available as you play the game. You play by climbing up the floors of the titular spire selecting one of a few possible paths, which may either lead you to a monster encounter, a treasure chest, a shop or something far more dangerous. When you get into a battle, you can either attack or defend yourself by playing various cards. Defeating a monster will cause it to drop more cards that you can add to your deck, as well as the occasional potion or relic which gives you a more permanent boost. Finally, every playthrough is completely different as the cards you get, spire layouts and the bosses you'll be facing will be different each time.If this sounds interesting, have a look at This thread for more details and links! But as always, this is not all. If you have a look at our New releases forum you will find many more interesting titles coming out. Keeping with the mainstream theme this for example includes an extremely complicated space exploration and colonisation game Aurora, accessibility updates to Galactic Colonies from the makers of Crafting Kingdom. There have also been a number of new interesting audiogames released, featuring police chases, horses, spaceships, relaxing soundscapes and more!

As someone who is primarily an iOS user and plays these games on an ancient android device whose battery dies after only a few hours of continuous use I 100% agree, particularly with duals RPG. That game really pulled me in. Its battle system is similarly complex like in Random adventure roguelike, but without the mental workload of navigating an overworld roguelike map. Which is not to say that was particularly hard in ROR2 because you get a lot of information to aid you, but there's just something more immediate in being presented with gamebook style choices when going on a quest.I also still need to play Frequency Missing... PG13 future stream idea perhaps? Not like we haven't gotten requests for it before

Re: Site updates 26th April

The main goal for yesterday's entry cleanup was a bit of spelling correction for all entries that mentioned boppits. For the past month, I kept seeing the slender man in my dreams, appearing out of nowhere, warning me that if I didn't take care of the boppits something horrible would happen and to make things worse he would also take over my computer and my phone to hammer the point home even more. So, from now on, any boppits shall now be referred to as "bop its". Oh, and if you still see any boppits hanging around please let me know before the slender man does. I don't ever want to see that face ever again.

@FabiG94 I definitely want to add links to all of them. Unfortunately, I don't speak all of the languages that these apps are in. What I did was just look at his play store page, and found the alternative language versions. For stuff like Domino or Tennis this isn't very hard because the words were similar enough, but something like accessible fun I wasn't sure what to look for. If you can send me links to the other language versions that are missing in the entries, I'll be more than happy to include them.

@nidza07 good catch. I may not be Dark but I just took care of correcting this. I also noticed the game name was written as "A heros Call". while it's supposed to have an apostrophe and be "A Hero's Call" so I changed that as well. If you see any other typos, or find a dead link in an entry, feel free to post about it in the site feedback forum, that way all of the editors can see it and someone's bound to correct it.

Re: site updates 22nd March

There's a trick to app store links to make them non-country specific, you just have to remove the part of the URL that points it to a specific country. So for example, a US app store link starts with apps.apple.com/us/app/bla. To make it not point to a specific country you just strip the "/us" part of the address, so it looks like apps.apple.com/app/bla instead. With Android, it's a similar story, where the last part of the URL sets what language the site displays in (the part starting with &hl=something). If you remove that from the link then it'll load in whatever language you use on your Google account. So I did that for the game Fabi linked to, but it still shows a description in Spanish (though Google does offer to translate it for me).I actually managed to get my hands on an older Android phone and hacked it to run a more recent version of the OS which I'll be using to test things, so I'll try to install it there and see what it does and also see about going through some of the Android exclusive games people posted recently and see about giving them entries.

Regarding Undead Assault's license, while you don't get anything for Donating Manuel has a pretty promenent donate link on the page, where he makes it clear that any additional donations will help greatly with keeping the game up as long as possible as well as allow faster development. If I understand correctly the agreement he has formed with Tiflohost doesn't completely alleviate server costs, it just makes them much smaller.Edit: regarding Android super tile smash, the link you gave seems to be for a Spanish version. Will this come up in English if ran on an English phone or is there a separate app available in English?

Re: Stay at home and shoot some zombies!

@Dark right. The game controls pretty much exactly like treasure hunt or operation black square. You hear all sounds from the perspective of your character, but don't have free turning. The first time you press a direction your character faces it which lets you shoot in that direction and if you continue holding it down you start walking. Genre wise, I see that you classified black square for example as an action game, which makes sense considering you not only shoot things but have objectives to complete. With Undead Assault, I felt that even though your turning is locked to the 4 cardinal directions, the game has more in common with an FPS objective wise, because all you're mostly doing is shooting everything that moves, to get the highest spot on the global ranking. If anyone thinks the game genre should be changed, I'm open to your thoughts

Stay at home and shoot some zombies!

Have you suddenly found yourself with more free time then usual? Well, not to worry! You can do a number of interesting, gaming related things! Find a few suggestions below, but first... Stay at home! Seriously! There are some serious things going on in the world right now, with the coronavirus having visited practically every corner of the world. The best thing we can do to prevent it from spreading faster is not going out unless you have to. This especially goes for those who may be more susceptible to falling ill, like our parents/grandparents, and anyone whose immune system is weakened for any reason. Also, wash your hands often and slowly, especially if you just returned from somewhere and came in contact with something that has been touched by a lot of other people. Listen to any instructions given to you by your local authorities, and most important of all... Stay safe! Now, on to some things you can do to pass the time!Remember Undead Assault? The game in which you and your friends can take on massive zombie hoards? The game went down some time ago. But, thanks to a fellow Russian community chipping in, it's back and it's bigger than ever, and it's only going to get bigger! Its return was announced a few days ago. The game was due to have an international release this Friday, but the developer has decided to put it out early! If you don't know what this is all about, have a look at its database entry linked to above, where you can find more information and download links. Happy shooting! If fast-paced shooting is too much for you, then perhaps you'd like to go on a quest? Well, the developers of Twilio Quest have began to add additional accessibility to their game, which you can read about in the forum thread linked above. What is Twilio Quest? Think traditional JRPG, but instead of battles you get to learn how to code. So who knows, you might learn something while playing this one!If the idea of coding makes your mind shrink away, but you'd still like to go on a quest, then how about a Blind Quest instead? From the developers that brought us the inquisitor series among others, take control of Nathan the mercenary, whose just trying to make a living by taking extremely dangerous jobs involving a lot of fighting, exploration and side questing. The game is fully voice acted, has some graphics for those who can enjoy them, is available on Windows, Mac and iOS and costs only 5.90 euros. While we're on the topic of quests, Planet Life, probably one of the more unique combination idle clicker+RPG games has recently received its third chapter, giving us even more to do. If you beat the first 2 and were disappointed and how it ended, now may be a good time to beat up some more jerks and look at the game again. If you have never played Planet Life, Dark has written an excellent description linked above, though if you want to be even more amazed I would suggest just grabbing it from either the iOS app store or Google Play, or playing on the web version (links in the database entry) and experiencing it for yourself. I don't think you'll be disappointed! And that's not all! We also had a new Pong game come out, featuring some rich, binaural audio from the developers of the epic upcoming Pitch Black, as well as a number of new discoveries of awesome idle games. You can read about all of these and more in the new releases room of our forum as well as looking through the site update news entries, which you can see below this post. With more regular updates, you can expect more awesome content to play through in the near future!

Happy shooting! If fast-paced shooting is too much for you, then perhaps you'd like to go on a quest? Well, the developers of Twilio Quests have began to add additional accessibility to their game, which you can read about in the forum thread linked above.

Re: Site updates March 8th

Updates by pitermach:-Entombed - give the entry a once-over with a spellcheck, fix broken link to Kelly Sapaergia's review, remove the link to Darren Duff's  review as it has died and he no longer has the file, remove references to Bazar Yahoo Group and the MSN group as both of those services are also long dead.-Talking word puzzles - correct the game name spelling to have 2 z's instead of 1.Gotta keep up with the theme of small things, that update just made the entombed entry a bit smaller. Hopefully the next update will involve adding rather than removing content

One minor correction: The fixes to the Super Liam, Judgment day, Audio Formula 1 and Angelgift entries were also me, though for some reason the last editor combo box doesn't have my name in it so I couldn't set it right.Regarding getinthedamnbox I actually corrected the developer name because I swore I saw it spelled with spaces... I guess it just felt better that way.@Dark you're welcome! I actually played Bulwark with a trackpad because my desktop was giving me trouble while trying to stream it, and it didn't actually play too bad for the most part.

Manamana

2019-11-01 Thread AudioGames . net ForumAudioGames - News room : pitermach via Audiogames-reflector

Manamana

Hot off the heels of Halloween or all saints day or whatever else you might be celebrating, you might have decided to unwind, relax from all the kids and monsters running around, maybe grab a snack or two or three... What better way to unwind than with a game?A wild Manamon 2 has appeared! That's right. If we have learned anything from Aaron Baker over at VGStorm, it's to expect the unexpected. And just with with all his previous releases, this one has also come out of nowhere, and like the previous releases we can expect it to be longer, bigger, and more interesting! In Manamon 2, you get to return to the world created in the first game, though a completely different and new region of it, featuring over 150 new Manamon and over 100 new moves, on-top of other enhancements. If you have never heard of the first Manamon, it's a turn-based role playing game inspired by a certain other series involving monsters and pockets. You get to become a Manamon tamer and capture these creatures, taking them into turn-based battles which will let them get stronger and learn new abilities, and let you become the champion! Oh, and you might also get to save the world while you're at it.This new iteration of the game should be even more approachable than the first to newcomers, thanks to a snazzy built-in tutorial, improvements in text to speech, and more. Knowledge how to play the first game is not required. So, if any of this sounds appealing to you, grab the game from the link at the top of this post and have fun!Oh, and just like the region of Kiarre in the game was ravaged by a drought, much the same thing could be said about the news section of this site and there has been quite a bit of activity over in the new releases room of the forum, so be sure to have a look at it once in a while! I'll try to do likewise for this news section.

New Horizons of 2019

2019-01-14 Thread AudioGames . net ForumAudioGames - News room : pitermach via Audiogames-reflector

New Horizons of 2019

It doesn't look like this year wants to slow down with new releases any time soon. A bunch of things got announced, and others were the exact opposite - they were never announced but came out of nowhere. And thus, a year in the making, R W Jeffs brings us New Horizons, a free, realtime space combat and trading audio game.If you played Elite, New Horizons borrows a lot from that game. If you haven't. You can pick one of the many starting factions and ships, and go off into a massive world full of planets, space stations, nebulas, stars and asteroids. Trade goods, mine asteroids, collect nebula gasses, set up automatic mining operations, or go after other ships, either fugitives helping the law or everybody else becoming a pirate. There is a bit of a learning curve, but once you figure out the mechanics you'll probably find it pretty hard to stop playing.

Are you willing to answer A Hero's Call?

2017-12-31 Thread AudioGames . net ForumAudioGames - News room : pitermach via Audiogames-reflector

Are you willing to answer A Hero's Call?

Almost a year ago, Out Of Sight Games launched a Kickstarter campaign for "A Hero's Call", an incredible sounding RPG promicing many hours of gameplay, a detailed turn-based combat system, many sidequests, and tons of original Music, Voice Acting and sound effects. The Campaign's $2850 goal was smashed in just 2 days. Ultimately, the project made not just over 9000! Dollars, but over 1. This allowed the team at OOSG to add even more content to the game. It also gained some attention after being written about on Mainstream gaming sites, as well as Winning the id@Xbox games for Everyone award from Microsoft. Fast forward to now and The game is finally available for your enjoyment for $20. The game's forum thread already has over 250 posts after just 3 days. If you are looking for something really awesome to start 2018 with, and find games like Entombed interesting or like your games to have plenty of Story, then you can't go wrong with A Hero's Call! The current version of the game is Audio only, with an update adding some basic graphics planned in the next few months. If you buy the game now, you will get that update for free. Also, seeing this post is being written on December 31st I would like to wish everyone reading a happy 2018 on behalf of myself and everyone else in the audiogames.net staff!

The road of Code

2017-12-15 Thread AudioGames . net ForumAudioGames - News room : pitermach via Audiogames-reflector

The road of Code

Any programmer will tell you that getting from an idea to a finished project takes a lot of hard work and a lot of pacience. And of course, lines and lines and lines of code. Code which, at times, will be extremely unstable and cause crashes and weird behavior you don't expect. So that road to the final destination is not an easy one to travel, much like The Road Of Life. The name refers to both a Physical road leading out of Leningrad during World War II as well as a new Game that was translated into English today, in which you become a truck driver carying supplies. Of course, being this is World War II you have enemy Fighters to worry about on-top of the fact the road may not be lava, but it's ice which can crack at any time. You can leave your feedback about the game and download it by clicking the link above.Another thing you have to be careful not to do when programming is catching a virus. Or getting hacked. Both of these could potentialy result in serious problems an frustrations. But hey, at least you don't have the whole planet to worry about...If, however, you'd like to go on a hacking adventure, I'm happy to say that after some delays Code 7: Episode 1 has finally received the update implementing VI mode. If you haven't heard about the game yet, the developers took to Kickstarter last year to get the game finished, releasing Episode 0 as a free demo which also included accessibility for Blind users. In the game, you have to prevent the Code 7 virus from reaching Earth and killing anyone on it by hacking into different computers, as well as talking to and guiding various characters around obstacles. If you like GameBooks, Interactive Fiction, and command lines, this game is definitely for you. You can find links to buy it for Windows or Mac Via Steam, Humble Store, or itch inThis threadWhich is where you can also leave feedback. The game features full voice acting, an original soundtrack, and full graphics. That's all for today, but there's still some awesome things to come this year!

What's a web browser anyway?

2017-07-29 Thread AudioGames . net ForumAudioGames - News room : pitermach via Audiogames-reflector

What's a web browser anyway?

What's the first thought that comes to your mind when you hear "accessible browser game"? Probably something along the lines of games that work purely in text, played by clicking links and filling out the occasional form. However, modern Web Browsers are capable of much, much more. In fact, what if I told you a "browser game" could be just as immersive as a typical audio game written in BGT or VB6? Recently, 2 new games have been released that push the boundary of how an accessible browser game could feel like.First up is a game that has been around for a while now, Dark Defender (link to forum thread). Based on the 80's arcade classic defender, you must shoot down the alien invaders before they pick up humanoids from the planet you're flying over. If one does get captured, you may still be able to shoot the alien ship out of the sky and rescue the whoever it was carrying. Th
e game can be played using Google Chrome on the web, or downloaded for either Windows and Mac.And finally, we have Cyclepath from DragonApps. An endless runner style game where you can choose one of many unlock able bikes and drive in several locations avoiding cars, jumping ramps, and picking up coins to unlock more stuff. The game features binaural audio in the style of PapaSangre or a blind legend. It can be downloaded for Windows, Mac and Linux or played on-line on just about any web browser, including on iOS and Android phones. That's it for Browser news, but it doesn't mean we're out of updates. If you'd rather play something with more text, and more strategy, perhaps the new mud-based Yu-gi-oh! game by tspivey will be up your alley, featuring over 7000 cards from the physical game. You could also take a look a
t this new Maze Game concept, which also features binaural audio. Perhaps you'd like to go on a great adventure. The famous Bokurano Daiboukenn 3 game's English translation project just hit a major milestone, now the entire game has been translated. So if you've been put off by the language barrier, Now's a good time to try it out!And as always, we have some more Choice of games that you can check out if you like your games more text heavy.Be sure to periodically check out the New releases room of our forum to find out about any new and interesting concepts looking for your feedback, or if post there yourself if you have anything cool to share. Time to unbox your brain!

2017-06-08 Thread AudioGames . net ForumAudioGames - News room : pitermach via Audiogames-reflector

Time to unbox your brain!

Who doesn't love boxes. They are such useful tools coming in various shapes, sizes and materials. They keep your stuff from falling out, or protect that new shiny thing you bought while it travels the whole world to get to you. And when that thing gets there, its box gives you the immense satisfaction when you rip it apart, freeing its contents. As the title of this post suggests, it's time to let your brain "think outside the box", as suggested by the slogan of Blackbox a free iPhone puzzle game. The concept is... not all that simple, actually, as the puzzles you'll have to solve are all different and there's over 70 of them. They do all have one thing in common however, and that is the fact that to solve them you need to think outside the screen of your phone. The only time you'll be doing any double-tapping and swiping around is to read the clues given to you in each challenge, the actua
l puzzles will require you to do many physical things with your phone such as talking to it, tilting it around, pressing buttons or making sure you're in the right time or place. If this sounds vaig, it's ment to be. It's very hard to talk about this game in any detail without giving major spoilers. What I can say however is that the game recently got full VoiceOver support and additional audio queues, so you will not be stuck as a result of an inaccessible app. The game is so good, in fact, that just yesterday it received A prestigeous design award from Apple so if they like it and recognise its developer for adding accessibility, you're bound to like it as well! Finally, if you'd like to give feedback or simply discuss the game, you can do so over here on ou
r forum. Now if you excuse me, I need to figure out what's the meaning of 12 circular wedges.

Mines and kings and toys and robots and passengers and more!

If you don't Visit the New releases room of the forum often, you might very well be missing out on a lot of things. The last month or so has been extremely fruitful in terms of new games coming out, many of which are once again translations from other languages. So whether you're into arcade, strategy, first person shooting or role playing you'll probably find something interesting. And so in no particular order we first have Return of the King from the Chinese company Dadi Technology, a first of its kind in the audio gaming scene MMO RPG. You can be one of several classes, like sword wielding warriors, magic using masters, zombie spawning summoners or marksmen hunters who can use firearms. You can level up your character by completing quests and killing various enemies, which will give you more skills. You also have the option of buyi
ng mounts, crafting weapons, teaming up with other people for team quests, engaging in PVP and more. The game is still in the process of being translated into English although the entire interface and most items and quest descriptions have already been completed. With more updates being planned introducing character alignment and a marrige system, it's definitely one to check out if you're willing to read and learn a lot in the beginning. It's also a big part why the news section of the site has been pretty quiet... At least for my part. One thing Return of the King and the next game I want to bring to your attention, Crafting Kingdom have in common is, well, crafting. Crafting Kingdom is however a completely different game revolving exclusively around crafting items to open up possibil
ities for crafting even more items. You can buy buildings like farms, quarries and blacksmiths to create various objects which you can sell on the market for gold which you can use to expand your production or upgrade your estate. The game also offers quests requiring you to meet certain goals, completing which will give you additional bonuses like faster production or higher sale prices. The game is available for free both on iOS and Android and is notable for being the first app made accessible using Michel Martin's new Unity Accessibility plugin. On the topic of games developped by Mainstream developers, Dark Passenger was just released on the Steam platform. It's a First Person stelf game in which you take control of a blind man trying to survive guided by another misterious man. You'll need to find objects, escape being noticed by guards as well as complete mazes without being killed if
you want to complete the game.Dark Passenger is still in early Access and so the developer is still looking for feedback which you can leave in the forum thread linked above. If you're a fan of the endless runner or arcade genres, take a look at Mine racer from 2MB solutions in which you are driving down a mine in a cart, trying to avoid sudden death by ducking stalagtites and jumping pits while picking up coins scattered all along the way. Mac and Linux users will be happy to hear the game is available for their platform in addition to Windows. You can name your own price for the game from a minimum of $5 or check out a free demo. If you buy the game, you will also get access to its source code. And finally, if you're into multiplayer card and strategy games, there's a new gaming platform in town, OntoysComing
to us from Russia, it stands out by offering some social features, full support for graphics, integrated voice chat as well as a few interesting games not available anywhere else such as Age of Heroes or Soccer, with twists to well known games like 1000 Miles designed to make the game not stretch out as long by offering things like playing with multiple decks. And this is not all. A few games have received major updates, the Quentin C's Playroom now has the Quiz Party game in English, allowing you and your friends to pit yourselves in a general knowledge trivia, The recently open-sourced Three-D velocity has just regained its Multiplayer support with the Server also Getting the Github treatment, and finally Rhythm Rage now allows Pack makers to build interactive Tutorials, with a new official pack coming out ta
king advantage of this as well. With a few big releases on the Horizon, such as A Inquisitor roguelike or the successfully funded A Heroes Call which promices to be a dream come true for many gamers, there's definitely a lot to look forward to this year!

Desafio Mortal breaks the language barrier and comes out in English

Seeing audiogames.net is an English website, the majority of discussion concentrates around games that are available in English. This means that many games can go undiscovered for a long time. Thanks to the awesome work by Mega Dimensão's, you can now experience Desafio Mortal in English. The game is a side-scrolling MMO life simulator with a large world to explore and a lot of things to do. Explore the school playground and staff room, go out into the street to grab a quick snack, drop by the shopping mall to pick up a grenade launcher and some clothes, take a dive in the swimming pool, and go out into the unprotected areas to duke it out with other players using a verioty of weapons to gain experience and money. If it's not the middle of the night in game time and you make enough money, head to the police station, get a passport and fly to other cities in the game that feature their own items and a a different currency. While you're there, you can use the public train system as well as buy a house for yourself which you can then decorate. You can use this house to hang out with your friends, which can be a very awesome experience considering the game offers audio socials, the ability to make teams, private and public text chat as well as voice chat with people in the same room.If you'd like to find out more, get a copy and talk to the developers, just take a look at this forum thread. Starting out can be hard, but if you get past the first 20 minutes of confusion I can personally say you will be rewarded!

Re: The Bsc is back!

I have just fixed the permissions on the unregistration files (the files on my local hard drive had the system and hidden attributes set so I'm surprised they even uploaded in the first place the first time. When you go into the unregistration patches folder, you want to just click the links pointing to the exe files, not the directories as those are broken and will have to be removed by ghorth later.

Re: The Bsc is back!

Hi,For pipe 2, you're looking for "blast chamber", which was the game's subtitle. Note that I actually never managed to run any of the newer BSC games that have encrypted sounds on anything newer than Windows 7 (that is pipe 2, troup 2 and hunter), and I did install all dependencies. Not sure what's going on with the wmaaudioredist file, perhaps it got corrupted at some point. I'll see about reuploading it if this is the case. The virus warning is most likely a false positive, but in any case there's 2 other classic pipe setups in the "old classic versions" folder that have the original sounds so you should still be able to get the game to run. I'll see about fixing the permissions on the unregistration patches  folder, though this may take a few days as I think my password might have been lost during the server move and Ghorthalon is currently experiencing internet issues. In any case it's unlikely yo
u'll need to use any of those files for the moment.
