I liked Achaea until the pay to win aspect kicked in and I experienced a single high level pvp fight because that was pages and pages of spam and scripts for herbs and stuff. Meh Achaea and Avalon,I've never tried armageddon but that's heavy rp and nothing I've heard about its atmosphere has ever been particularly inspiring,Clok is also rp heavy...Geas has crafting but iirc it's not overly robust and it's rp enforced,In fact most/all of these you listed are.Good crafting is kind of rough to find on a mud, honestly. It's always just been a thing I've never been able to find to my satisfaction.Rip wayfar.Lost Souls hits your complex magic (complex everything, really) but nothing else,and hell/derivatives have some pretty good crafting and marginally interesting combat, but that's about it.

the best master scroll is 2mil, but you unlock it in the shop menu once you donate 1mil, yeah.Also I don't know about the footsteps thing. I sort of get your point but...then I opened up Paladin of the Sky and had no footsteps and it was so off putting not being able to really gage how fast I'm moving or anything, so...maybe it's a "they get  annoying but you miss them once you lose them" kind of thing?The underground has always been my favorite area in manamon 2. Zelda was my jam; Ocarina/Majora's Mask/Twilight Princess etc. so I was instantly hooked.

Not sure if anyone's interested in coding (programmers? what are those? lol) something fun and not massively story driven, but I've lately had a craving for a tower defense game that isn't Aprone's ancient thing.Was just thinking about balloon tower defense and plants vs zombies and what an entertaining timewaster those kinds of games are.Hopefully someone who can do something about it finds this topic and feels inspired.Either way, just a random note of interest. No idea how complicated something like this would be to write, but I'm sure it can't be as involved as the next AAA audio rpg to top all previous audiogames! Or something.

Frorgeril actually eventually gets final thunder. Not sure about you, but I find the idea of a giant frog wrecking someone with a massive apocalyptic lightning bolt hilarious. I seriously considered having it in my team and slapping a re-arm band on it just for that imagery. loledit: Also, random aside, because hypermagnet is super effective against electric types, it actually ends up being 4x effective against frorgeril. It's one of those things that are "duh, obvious" in hindsight but surprised me when I first realized it.

Hahaha, that's great, just get an artisoul with likemax speed, dump as much as you can into both defenses (or just straight hp), get protect, ultra scent, insta kill move, both maybe the barrier moves or an entrap move. If ultrascent doesn't work, take aerial vision instead. Wouldn't bother with a speed boost move though because that's two whole rounds of setup.Actually, aerial vision might be better, because it lasts more than one turn, so it's not constant setup. Assuming ultrascent only lasts one turn?Use the speed anklet because I think that hits attack stats (which you don't care about) rather than that shitty cloak.Just don't take it to boss fights.edit: Meh, anklet hits defense. Hahaha, that's great, just get an artisoul with likemax speed, dump as much as you can into both defenses, get protect, ultra scent, insta kill move, both maybe the barrier moves or an entrap move. If ultrascent doesn't work, take aerial vision instead.Actually, aerial vision might be better, because it lasts more than one turn, so it's not constant setup. Assuming ultrascent only lasts one turn?Just don't take it to boss fights.

Also, still a big fan of sirennia for water types, but is arctana faster?I guess sing's accuracy sucks, but sleep is kind of the only way set up is worthwhile, and downpour plus flood is pretty devastating if you have nothing that specifically resists water types in the party.Boulderdash is a real gem though. lol

No way.I hate to sound like a superior-than-thou jerk, but whenever people talk about struggling with bosses all I can think is probably your type coverage just really sucks.I'm sorry but if your team is decent and you've been training your manamon and at least trying to stay on top of the training point gains, there's no point where you should have to brute force a boss fight or challenge with revives and healing items (with probably the 100% optional plot-irrelevant Piere fight being the only exception).Aaron did a damn fine job of making sure progression and leveling areas feel really smooth and relevant, from the first route to the last area. Even post game content has a nice distribution of levels, so taking a manamon to 100 isn't impossibly annoying.I complain about manamon stuff a lot, sure, but reasonable progression has never been one of them.

I bet you'd see it if you used some kind of sleep/powerfang tactic for capturing stuff enough.I'm sure it's happened to more people than you (it's happened to me), it's just not everyone checks the percent health of something religiously, so if it did, maybe they just didn't notice. Or didn't think it was worth commenting on.

It has no other dinstiguishing features.Misps are featureless themselves, but are incredibly fast learners, and often mimick the traits of creatures around them.The idea is that misp evolves into different things depending on the first type of the manamon immediately after it in the party.They'd all be more or less cloud themed and part airair/ice for a snowy cloud, or air/electric for a stormcloud, maybe an air/water for just a bigger fog bank, maybe an aurora or rainbow/themed air/magic type, or a pure air tornado thing, etc.

It's biggest problem aside from lack of coverage is just being dumb frail.But basically all my major complaints with this thing would be gone if it had even one decent special plant move. It just doesn't have the points to spare to assign to two attack stats because then it's slow, and being slow for something this squishy is being dead.Ideal case like I've said before is make the drain moves special because it sounds reasonable and it means you don't have to make a bunch of new plant moves. Just push it on the switches. There's only one right switch but an infinite number of attempts if you et the wrong one. Once you hit the right one the forcefield in the previous room gets disabled. That's kind of it.

Ug I really wish ureinaman learned a single physical ghost move that wasn't freaking soul ripper. I still find it weird that the drain moves are physical here (absorb/mega/gigadrain). Pretty sure they're special in pokemon?

Closest I see is scorchion? And that's just the name; the typing isn't even the same? Jade never gave a description or moveset or anything.I also don't think it's cool to discourage a brainstorming thread by muddying the waters like that, but maybe it's just me.

I dunno, I actually found the sword one pretty easy, same for the dancing one. I can get 90-95 on those. It's the box rolling one that I struggle with. Highest I managed was like an 80, but that was just once and probably luck. Most times it's around 60. Haven't really tried world 2.
