actually, if you can remember the original location of all partitions on the disk, you can use either fdisk, gdisk for gpt, or parted to recreate the partition table. The partition table is only a small part of the disk. As long as you didn't recreate a new part

PSA: Just as a heads up, those *are!* real commands which will erase, in windows, your c: drive, and in linux, wipe the partition table, so don't do those and reboot, or you'll need recovery media and hope to all the gods of technology that you made backups
