Getting headphones and speakers on 1 device Hello. This may seem confusing, and sort of is, but my problem is a bit technical. My computer treats the internal speakers and my headphones as 2 different devices. I went to ctrl panel/hardware and sound/sound, and I was on the playback tab, and there were 2 devices. Speakers high definition audio device, and headphones high definition audio device. Re: I have no passion in life All I can say is ... I had this happen to me before that kinda stopped now, and I know how you feal. It comes into my understanding that youre being thought by other people who have sight that you are dumb and worthless because youll never succsess in life. Well understand this. Im in a similar situation. I go to Hayesville middle school, and Im in the alternative school because Im unable to keep up with the regular teacher. I take my classes online now, and am exelling in my courses well. People come to the alternative for numerous reasons, but the most common reason is behavior. There are these 2 boys named Kage and Dillon. They are heartless boys who lead a team of bullies named Hunter, Easton, Hovyair, and some others that I cant remember now. They pick on and hate me because of the fact that Im blind. They fool me by making out things like 2 of them, voice impersonation, worning me of things or areas that I know for a fact arent there like snakes and holes, boddy impersonations, and messing up my property such as my braille pluss, (by messing up the keys required to operate like the arrow keys). Kage distracts me from my work by noises when the teacher isnt in the room, telling me to prove it appon my telling the teacher, which is not possible, often the result of me getting in trouble for something that was the fault of the other bully that was made out to be the fault of me. Meaning, I could be accused of stealing someones things so they can get something that belongs to me, and being claimed that it doesnt belong to me. This has not happened yet, but it is very probable. I have had insidents where Ive had my cain stolen from me in the time I had not yet gone to the alternative. It has happened to me several times, and I had to have it retreaved by the teacher. Yesterday, I had to sit in 1 shady spot in the track because I now get sun bearns extreamly easy. That shady spot was the only 1 on the whole intire track, and I wasnt aloud to move from the spot. The boys, knowing this, came over where I was, claiming that they were hot. They started picking on me, and I wasnt aloud to move, so I was left no chance of running away. They refused to move, I couldnt move. They continued to pick, until I got so incredibly angry, that aventualy, I burst into a fit of absolute rage and anger. I said, Shut up! Shut up and get out now, and thats an order! I dont want you around me anymore, so start walking now! I have no where else to go, and Im not going to let you stay here anymore! Treat me better, or leave! Now! And thats an order! You hear me!? I got up. The boy who was a trader to them came over and said, You guys are being total dicks! You need to get out, now! I continued, I want Mason and Hevon to be here, not you! If you dont leave now I will ... I marched away in anger. My teacher came o ver and scolded me, and my response was, Those boys have no right to mess with me and what they did was torment you hear me torment torment torment torment torment! I almost burst out crying about it, and I, for that reason, know exactly how you feal. What you need to know is that sighted people are crool and mean, and theyll make you believe what ever they want you to believe, and you can do absolutely nothing at all to even make them think of stopping. Not all of them are this way, however, the majority of them are. They can never know what its like to be blind, and most likely, they never will. I had insidents where Ive been called stupid, drunk, and unable to do anything because my visual imparement. I had people yell insults at me, and honk their horns at me, as a form of Hey, idiot, watch where your going! Miguel, my friend, family Mario is his username, had been cridisized and had his former braille pluss stolen from him by a womon wh o believes that blind people and assistive technology are stupid and have no purpose in life. She got in trouble by the pollease and went to jail for it. But I hope this has eased your mind off this problem. The 7 main voices Hello all. I already have Anna, now my plan. I was wanting the 7 main voices. Sam, Mike, Mary, Anna, David, Hazel, and Zera. For the other 6, my plan is to coppy the reg, and put mssam.reg. msmike.reg, msmary.reg, msdavid.reg, mshasel.reg, and mszera.reg on to a usb memery stick. Then coppy the speech folders to another usb memery stick. The problem is that I dont have any usb memery sticks. Internet? Hello.Well, I think I just screwed myself up rurally. I had a fight with my 15 year old brother Skyler. Well he and I were having a fight over who could use the internet. I have a laptop that doesnt work with the WiFi. So he messaged mom. Then she said I could use the internet until 5:30 pm and then get off. She said I never had homework wich is why I have an f in math. First of all, I dont ever get homework because I take online classes in a trailer. And second, I dont hav an f in math. I wouldnt lie about that. I dont li. And third, he cant make me stop using the internet. Hes 15, only 2 years older than me. He cant tell me what to do. Im living daily life like the rest of you guys. So heres where everything comes into the picture. Why does Skyler get to libe his daily life, but I dont? When it comes to this, hes just as selfish as I am. Ok, heres the main core of the problem. Why is my WiFi not working? Well, Ill tell you why. I got my computer from computers for the blind. I told the lady that I wanted WiFi for my computer. I also said Id like to have NVDA as the scren reader. My WiFi was controlled by a small USB devise, smaller than a simcard for those old time phones. If I lost it, Id be disabled from using the WiFi until it was found, or I some how got another one. Now, Im sure you can guess what happened. Im sure now its not posible to get another one. Yep, now I have to take turns for the little half wit. What the heck was he thinking? I should unplug the router, or better ye, shut of the swich on the socket that operates it. Swiching it back once the hour for him is up. In the mean time, where can I get another one of those WiFi things? Dark has to have people pay for his products so he can buy things he needs from Aprones store. Grocery store, to be exact. Re: Need a new cane I really like the canes with the rollers, how ever my mobility teacher, ms. Maria Talent, thinks that Im to old for it. And family Mario has ms. Maria too. So, she treats him as partly blind, witch I think he is, and me as partly sighted. I am partly sighted, but the sight I have isnt good enough to go without a rolley tip. I once had a cane with a tip that ended as a stick, (witch Ill refer to as a rod tip,), and we were at a fishing trip. I was holding the cane under my arm, to lazy to fold it, and I payed the price for that. The cane snapped! And made an unsatisfactory snap noise witch startled me. I showed it to the man I was talking to, and we went to tell the teacher. In the process of trying to fix it, I cut my thumb on the sharp steal.
