You could convert the files once you've downloaded them, of course, but there would be some loss of quality, which I imagine the OP wouldn't want if they prefer flac files. You might also check either CD Baby or Bandcamp. Both of those offer different download formats, flac and a couple of different bitrates of mp3 among them.
