Re: Is it worth buying a gpd win2_ The GPD Win isn't the most powerful computer, but it works for audio games, web browsing, managing Email, playing media files, word processing, voice and video calling, etc. You're definitely not going to be doing hardcore video editing or playing graphics intensive games, but it's certainly an excellent pocket PC if you stick to the basic things most people want to do with computers. Yes, I said pocket PC, because this thing is truly a pocket PC! It's awesome!Think about what you want to use the computer for. If you want to voice or video chat, I'd highly recommend purchasing a decent quality camera and microphone. The GPD Win doesn't have a camera and the built-in microphone is awful!Having said all that, this thing is still a powerhouse! If it had an LTE radio, I'd seriously consider ditching my cell phone. Mobile operating systems are okay, but you can't beat the power of a desktop OS like Windows. Having the full power of Microsoft Windows 10 literally in your pocket is incredible! Re: Is it worth buying a gpd win2_ Hello. As someone that owns this computer, I would say that comes down to how much you value form over function. I for one love this computer but this computer is no i7 or i5, Audio games and youtube videos are fine on here. But the fan is running even with just a web browser going and a youtube video. If you have the money to spend on it and you feel like it will benefit you in your life then go for it. I for one really enjoy this thing. I actually tried to sell it but once I could not get it sold I reinstalled my personal stuff on here and started using the heck out of this thing and it is honestly quicker than you may be lead to think. Also this thing can be an audio editing machine if you need it to. Not sure what the asking price for these are now but I paid $895 back in September of 18. So if you ask me. it comes down to money and how much you feel you will need or use this thing.I hope this helps.
