Re: freezing values with cheat engine?
so just to clarify, once i've got the health value i hit shift f10 and click add selected items to the address list or something like that. Am i clicking the right thing or should I be doing something else?Lol sorry if i'm just asking stupid questions
Re: freezing values with cheat engine?
think I'm on the latest version. been a while since I've used it but when you get your search results you have to either double click them or apps key and add them to the list then they should show up when you tab about. i'll have a play with it later
Re: freezing values with cheat engine?
Ok, confusion. I've tabbed around everywhere but there's nothing there that reads pain or anything like it. Are you guys on an older version of cheat engine or something? I'm on 6.8.2.

Re: freezing values with cheat engine?
Yeah, I've also herd it can be used for certain kinds of debugging but don't quote me on that.

Re: freezing values with cheat engine?
actually, one thing it's useful for, and I wouldn't suggest you use this for anything you shouldn't, but let's say you have forgotten your email password and you want to keep a record of it in case you have to reinstall or what ever, you can go
Re: freezing values with cheat engine?
NVDA will say pain.Technically, one could argue it is about games. lol The program is called Cheat Engine, after all. Plus, I can't really think of any other uses for the program aside from games, and that's what it was designed for.

Re: freezing values with cheat engine?
Wasn't sure what room to put it in since it's technicly not about games, so figured i'd put it here just to be on the safe side. about the address list, do you mean the thing nvda reports as unknown or is it something else?

Re: freezing values with cheat engine?
NVDA doesn't read thee address list either. But yes, it's just a check box, press space. Also, why is this in off topic? lol

Re: freezing values with cheat engine?
when you find the value you have to add it to the list at the bottom then there's a box to check to freeze it. not sure jaws reads the check box though.
