Re: how to use tinyspell the program?

Alright, here goes nothing. When you're starting out with TS and you've bought the Plus version, you can customize dictionaries for TS to check against. By default, it comes with a seemingly bog-standard English US dictionary, but I recommend you go out and find Hunspell dictionaries for your preferred language. You can additionally set TS to automatically switch based on your Windows keyboard language, so you can definitely set up more than one dictionary and of course you can add your own entries.I also recommend you check to hear beeps when TS detects an error, so you will have to go and find a sound you want to use for that. You can also set the state of TS checking errors on an application basis, so if you want it to check in Discord but not Windows Explorer, no problem!I have my replacement window hotkey set to something less intrusive (ctrl+semi colon). When that is pressed, I get spelling When I click a spelling correction, it is inserted at my cursor in the text. So I then select the word, and TinySpell inserts the replacement over it.Try enabling both Insert replacement word, and Enable auto-replacement if you haven't already. Maybe also try, Check spelling on the fly?The hotkeys are unfortunately unlabeled, and if you're not going to use object nav or similar, here's what they do.1. Replacement popupAs I'm aware, the replacement popup is different to the spelling tip (which I still don't know what is). OP, you are talking about the replacement window. In fact, the spelling tip has an option to not display it, and you can customise its hotkey independently away from the main hotkey section.2. Online info on a copied selection. This may be a dictionary entry or sinanims for that word. By default, it searches Merriam-Webster, but you can actually change this within the context menu for the system tray icon (I haven't actually got this to work though).3. Spelling window (don't use it, don't know what it does)4. Re-show tip (also don't use it).5. Beep on/off (toggles the behavior of beeping when a spelling error is found).6. Disable/enable (just disables or enables the program). It doesn't close, but it just won't check for spelling errors. That's generally everything I use out of TS.I haven't found any unlabeled buttons, but feel free to ask if there's something else you'd like explaining.

Re: how to use tinyspell the program?

I would like a general guide on the program, because there are a lot of things in the settings that are difficult to understand, or completely unabled. I looked at the screen for all those hotkeys once, and promptly gave up. Anyone have general tips on tiny spell?
