I have been slowly going through the games code, and cleaning it up for a rerelease of v1.0. I also have braught the multiplayer server back online, though currently im not sure what to do about multiplayer support at the moment. I have been considering rewriting the games manual as well, as a lot of it was cobbled together when the game was in extremely early alpha stages and thus much of the info in it is extremely out of date. Try to add the other tricks as supporting tricks when in the air, because you would have doubled your score by a lot if you had thrown in some rost beafs along with thoughs frontside 180s. Re: Snow Race 1.0.1030.105 released! eHi, the story mode and event types like in ssx tricky are going in the next sequel of snow race, snow race out of bounds, which we have already got a heavy start on and implemented quite a lot of new things for. Board park was an intended mode where you had to hit a sirten number of opsticles, but it was never completed thanks to the evil thing known as schoolwork. The thing to know is, ethin was the one who released it, and hes a little new to the clean up thing of go through the code and clean up the bits you dont need in the installer. Pluss, like he said, this is the last release of the first snow race, since do to the limited track structure we used it was getting more and more difficult to implement ground breaking new systems. As for the shop, you can find out how much something is by pressing enter on it. If you dont have enough it should notify you how much you need. Thanks for letting me know about the tutorial bug. Ill try and look for the sourc e of it. And uh, @ethin, just slow down on asking people for votes. The games barely come out and it hasnt even had a chance for news to get posted about it since the version is only 3 days old. Just give it time and I promiss eventualy the pole will grow. I braught up the trick tutorial and the bug didnt trigger, though I did find one where the music will stop and you need to turn it back on with the options menu if you have it on. Their is a note you should be aware of. A bad download can make the game act really strange, im not sure what causes it but some of the bugs sound like it was an improper download since ive tested and cant find them in the stable or testing build. Windows XP cannot handle the symantics of the game, nor can it support the OpenWindowedScreen function since it is just plainly out-of-date. Re: Snow Race 1.0.1030.105 released! When you get in the air, youll here a clicking sound, this is your boards nose. Hold w to increase it, s to decrease it. The hire you have it, the more tricks you can do. The best thing to do is to raise it for a bit, than lower it. Tricks are done by holding down a set of aeros, like this. Left and up is backside 180. Left and down is front forward flip. Up and down is tail grab. Right and up is rost beaf. And up and z is stailfish. Note some of the tricks wont work unless your balance is right or your nose is high enough. Lower it to something good though for landing, like a medium nose position. Re: Snow Race 1.0.1030.105 released! For thoughs of you who are wundering, ill be soon roling updates out to dm pa as well after the storyline is fully finished. One thing ethin completely forgot to mention, because the bug fix was just applyed today, is the new feature where the game constantly runs in windowed mode, which fixes the compatibility problem on most systems. It also fixes the alt tab problem. I do intend to support this to a sirten extent, but I think for now the focus is just bug fixes.
